It's not really accurate though. Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah) is not the leader. O Ren (Lucy Liu) isn't never uses kung fu, she's actually a master of kitana The Black Girl (Vivica Fox) was a blades expert, not a demolitions. Beatrix only kills one person with a knife. She's actually better with a sword. Maybe the character's races are right, but everything else is completely wrong and shows a very loose connection.

There was a wild conspiracy theory on the internet that theorized the trees represented the two towers and that the entire movie was subtley predicting 9/11. Of course it was a bunch of hogwash, but it's an interesting fact.

In the third movie, the cliff near the town is called Clayton Ravine, for the teacher, Clara Clayton. Then Doc and Marty save the teacher, and when Marty returns to the present the name has changed to "Eastwood Ravine". Marty called himself Clint Eastwood.

Maybe the producers thought something like this: The Mom is a woman grown and assumes the role of a woman. The same goes for the father, only that he is a man. Riley, on the other hand, is still a child and not past puberty. She hasn't fount herself jet.

I worked with a guy who would notice all the shadows, reflections, glare "hot spots", etc. when we were filming (training videos, nothing interesting). Working with somebody like that helps you see why only very few people have what it takes to direct films.

Agree and it is one of the best sequences in animation ever. How it perfectly captures in just a few seconds the ups and downs of marriage, the sacrifices and the small things that matter. However for me, even sadder than the scene where Ellie dies, is the one where Carl hits the construction worker after the truck smashes Carl and Ellie's mail box, because Carl looks so confused and scared... The aftermath of losing one's life companion along the vulnerability and loneliness of what I think many real old people are going through hits me in the feels every single time.

I doubted, so I googled. A qupte from a special effects make up guy. "I acquired a number of actual biological surgical skeletons is what they’re called. They’re for hanging in classrooms in study. These are actual skeletons from people. I think the bones are acquired from India. But at any rate, we got 13 of these. And we dressed them so that they looked not like bleached, clean, bolted together skeletons but instead, disintegrating cadavers. And, you know, added sculptured rubber and things to them so they would have a kind of dramatic leering spooky aspect and not be dull — what am I trying to say — clinical type corpses, you know."

Was I the only one who saw this the first time I watched the movie? That’s why I was surprised at Harry being scared of Snape afterwards. I always thought that he was just misunderstood by Harry but was acting the part in order to protect Harry from danger - which he did protect Harry lots of times.

See, Harry in the earlier films didn't realise Snape was helping him. Snape gets blamed by Harry and his mates and they turn against him. Fast forward to later, (Can't tell you when coz spoilers) Snape is remembered and Harry insisted his portrait be put in the Headmaster's office. Big character change in Harry as he goes from opposition to respecting Snape

I never thought that Snape was the whole evil guy he seemed to be, because Dumbledore trusted him. And Dumbledore was the opposite of an idiot, so he must have known stuff that nobody else did, like that Snape was not as he seemed. He was still a git, but now we know why

This scene in Titanic is the most heart-rending of all, to me. She cannot save her children and knows what is coming, so she tries to extend the sweetness before the sheer terror they will experience, to ease their deaths. Awful. I have not watched the film since the first time because of this scene. It made me think of those who died and if they had gone through it like that. Those poor people.

No. If you eat MAOI antidepressants you should avoid eating and drinking various things like liver, beans and alcohol because those can cause severe health problems together. Same thing is with some recreational drugs - they have MAOI effect and can be very dangerous to your health if you don't follow a special diet before and during using those drugs. Nowadays most antidepressants are SSRIs and with SSRI medication you don't have to avoid any foods or drinks.

Yeah, he made a deal with the fairy godmother. Bought his happy ever after from her. In return his daughter (Fiona) was supposed to marry her son (Charming). That's why she (fairy godmother) tried to cajole him into pouring love potion into Fiona's tea. So Fiona could fall out of love with Shrek and in love with Charming. This is actually a very important sub-plot. :)

Actually, it is the same shirt (check at IMDb, for one). It is also the shirt Mortensen wore to his own wedding (https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/14/fashion/captain-fantastic-costume-designer.html). And in Captain Fantastic there is a shot where you can see the characters' wedding photo with him wearing the same shirt. So, considering that The Indian Runner scene is a wedding too, the shirt attended 3 weddings and a funeral. Up to now.

Actually, if you listen closely, the SOUND of the class being cleaned is the sound of neo's hands rubbing against the glass of their enclosure (when neo is first flushed, his hands also make that sound). It's a reminder of the real world while he is being questioned about "being special, that the rules don't apply to him". Great scene.

The water falling down the glass looks similar to the coding imagery (the falling numbers). The scene in the room isn't real - it's in the Matrix. So the water (coding) being cleaned away is meant to symbolise the hidden truth and the fake scene within.

In short, No it is a separate character. The Marvel movies use a "Multiverse Theory" to explain the differences. So the X-Men movies take place in a separate universe than the Marvel Cinematic Universe occurs in. The same goes for this movie and the Origins movie. It is the same character, just in a different reality.

Which is nonsensical, since a creature with an exoskeleton would not have a white bony skull under flesh. However there are parts of a human-derived eyeless skull under the translucent dome of the original creature in Alien, since that creature got part of its genetics from its host.

Nope. This is not what this is at all. I am cross-dominant (right handed but left eye dominant), so whenever I shoot one handed I hold the gun EXACTLY as she does in the image. There are very good odds that Daisy Ridley is also cross-dominant, because I know for sure she writes and eats with her left hand and considers herself "ambidextrous".

Funny thing is that this is not designed by the movie makers, the guy in "La Liberté guidant le peuple" painted by Eugène Delacroix only coincidentally looks a little like Wolverine. Or maybe it is no coincidence... is Wolverine real? ;)
