As a person currently taking 2 medicines for epilepsy, I know that it's never as easy as it sounds- and oftentimes, no one can control what does/doesn't happen next.
I was out of my meds for a week while waiting to see my doctor and I thought I was going to completely loose my mind! I can't imagine what that would to to a person, let alone a 15yr old, who's also going through so many hormonal ups and downs at her age! Some people shouldn't have kids, period!
Don't forget that "tired and lazy" can a be symptom of the very illness that that medication is given to fight. A depression will basically suck your energy and motivation out of you, so you in the bad cases don't want to/can't do much more than just stay in your bed and hope that you can get just a bit of rest for a short period. I usually compare the condition to walking in the rain in a dark forrest a 3AM and having been doing so since 5AM, and then discovering that the camp that you thought were near is inaccesible due to the bridge having been washed away. Depressions can be a very serious beast to fight, and it should be given priority over something as simple as not walking up at the right time - In the worste cases they can be mortal, or at least be serious handicap that put some real constraines on the life that a person suffering can live.
Call the doctor or the police! The parent is acting in a manner that threatens the child's life. The parents should be forced to attend an in-depth briefing on medication for depression. Stopping meds like that can be dangerous and will most certainly harm the child. Last comment: the parents are probably the reason for the kid's depression for sure!

If you feel that going to the police is drastic, you could try talking to the pharmacist. At least in Canada they are allowed to forward you a few doses of an existing prescription without a renewal in hand, while you get things figured out with your doctor - and they can talk to your doctor for you to get a renewal which you wouldn't have to tell your parents about. I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar wherever you are.

First, call the therapist. Then, call the police. Call CPS or DSS. Call Legal Aid, too. If necessary, go to the ER, explain the situation.
Time to call the authorities for them taking your medicine away from you the prescription is yours not theirs. Probably breaking some law about disabilities and make sure to tell your doctor it seems your parents need drugs also and that they are intent on killing you with this sick behaviour and to point out to them they might be why you need these pills in the first place. This thread caused me to experience considerable anxiety. I did end up with one of my daughter's friends on my sofa. She was escaping her toxic family. In the end the Police and Social Services became involved, and she ended up living with us. I desperately hope that many of the young people captured here escaped too.

The fact that I will have to say goodbye to them in a relatively foreseeable future breaks my heart. My elder sister and I are still suffering from her lack of care when we were sick as children while she waited for us to become sick enough so that SHE could get attention from the doctors and staff. I had pneumonia multiple times and my sister went partially deaf from ear infections. Ironically, we were military dependents so we could go to the infirmary, anytime, with no charges for care or medication.
Somebody needs to tell the Iron Maiden hating mama that the song isn't what she thinks it's about- in fact the opposite. While I'm at it the drummer is a born again christian.

I remember when my cousin was in college and her roommate was on the phone talking to her mother. The roommates mom was yelling at her and saying she was ugly and worthless and so many other horrible things 😠. My cousin was so upset she called her own mom crying and apologized for all the times she acted up and told my aunt(her mom) what a wonderful mother she was.

Well, that was depressing. Some people should not be parents. I only hope that their children leave them to it as soon as they're old enough because no one should have to live with these utter sh!tstains for parents.
I remember when my cousin was in college and her roommate was on the phone talking to her mother. The roommates mom was yelling at her and saying she was ugly and worthless and so many other horrible things 😠. My cousin was so upset she called her own mom crying and apologized for all the times she acted up and told my aunt(her mom) what a wonderful mother she was.
Faith in humanity fading... fading... RISING!... fading... fading... gone.
This is how you end up old and alone in a sh*tty old people's home with no one visiting you. And you deserve it.

I have been reading Panda for years and this is the first time I couldn’t stomach reading the whole thing. I wanna hug my mom and dad so bad right now, while they were/are not perfect this bull makes me appreciate their particular brand of crazy so much more!!!

Nope. Mines not even dead yet. But no contact since 2008. Mom's very sick. Totally do not care! Every time I think of her all I feel is relief that I'm not in that house anymore. It actually makes me kind of happy she isn't privileged enough to have a relationship with me. She didn't earn it. And I'm so good with that. Love that I'm free!
