That is the problem. Years ago, I was able to have AMAZING conversations about differing viewpoints. It was very enlightening... The best sentence I heard (and said) was "You know, I didn't see it that way". But now, it is so polarized... There is no gray area, everyone has to be THIS or THAT. And I'm guilty of it. But these comments.... I feel that more attention is paid to a child before its born, than after. Most pro-lifers respect and defend life from conception to natural death and the children who are in cages, as you call them, are their because their parents brought them along while they were breaking the law by not applying to come to this country legally. The same thing would happen if a robber or burglar brought their children along when they broke the law, the children would be taken away from them.

Who are you to judge everyone that is pro-life? Not all pro-lifers are religious but most of us have the common sense to make our own decisions and understand that life begins are conception, a baby is alive when it has a heartbeat and electrical pulses going to/from it's brain.

FFS this argument is ridiculous. They promote abstinence. They don't want you to have a kid you don't plan on and can't care for. I just don't understand why people think the pro-lifers are d***s for saying "you made your bed, you sleep in it". The said don't have it in the first place so why the hell would it be their responsibility to take care of a problem they proactively tried to avoid in the first place?
