Thank you to @SCP 4666's post mentioning pineapple on pizza as the brainchild for this post. What's your favourite pizza topping combo? Mine is pretty basic; ham, cheese, pineapple, and (lots of) mushrooms on top of your usual pizza base. Maybe an egg if I feel like being slightly 'fancier', or jalapenos if I feel like a bit of a kick. So, what about it, fellow Pandas? And keep anti-pineapple discourse respectful, please!

I'm not a pizza fanatic (shock, horror!) but for me nothing beats just simple cheese/tomato/basil.
Anchovies. People be putting vile toppings on their pizzas, but god forbid you want some umami with your carbs.
*dramatic gasp* not the pineapple!
I think it's wayyy more pepperoni and cheese, also because it's sooo good and it's popular :)
I rather liked (way back in the late '90s) when Heinz did a "bean pizza". It was a bit too dry for my liking so I got some pizza dough, made it good and thick, and dumped a tin of beans on top. Yummy!
Here in France, I rarely eat pizza as the ones in the supermarket are thin enough to be barely more than a large decorated wafer. I do sometimes buy a pre-rolled pizza dough. I pull it out to be large, then fold it over itself to be thick. This will then go in the oven for ten minutes with nothing on it. I'll then pull it out of the oven, cover it with grated cheddar, and then back into the oven. I don't put sauce on it, most of the sauce is vile. I may, depending on mood, shake some Cholula (hot sauce) on to the dough. I don't like mushrooms, olives, and don't think fruit belongs on pizza. So, yeah, a thick lump of dough with cheese on top. I once tried to put the cheese into the dough, but that didn't really work.
I guess I just suck at pizza. Now, linguine I can do. ;)
Last century, I had a pastrami pizza, with mustard and some other toppings. I thought it was very tasty. Somewhere in southern California USA.
