It is my first post op panda, and the text is obviously not finished 😜. The idea was to write: This is our cat Leo. On the left you see the picture we have received from the kitten shelter as an introduction. He had too large ears, too long legs en basically looked like a Gremlin. Several other people wanted adopt a kitten rejected him for being too ugly, but I for me it was a love at first sight 😍. On the right the beautiful head turning creature that he is now after 6 years.

FYI he was neither. He was young, hormonal untrained and had no way to burn energy. He still cuddles very hard and he annoys me if we have missed time for a big walk with playtime. But it is not being hyper-it is just being young and full of energy and the need for experiences.

Sophie and Gracie, next picture, are sisters we adopted from the local humane society. They are a Siamese, tabby, snowshoe mix. Totally different personalities. Sophie is a gentle, old soul who entertains herself, adores drinking from the faucet, and chirps more than meows, rarely commenting. Gracie is into everything, talks constantly, and sighs a lot. They sleep with me every night, one on each side. It's amazing.

I heard a strange sound and went searching. This tiny tuxedo cat was looking in my glass door and meowing so hard that her front feet were coming off the ground. She had a raspy meow that didn't project very well. I opened the door and she strolled into my home and my heart. She weighed just five pounds, and when I picked her up, immediately knew she was pregnant. Vet said she wasn't far along but that there were too many, and she would have died trying to have them. We named her Missy, and she was with us for about 18 years and died peacefully at home at around 22 years old in March 2010. She only ever weighed seven pounds and could jump like no cat we'd ever seen. She seemed to float upwards. RIP, our little gymnast...we miss you still.
