Feminism should never be seen as pretentious gals with hairy armpits demanding for more than they could take; feminism should be seen as common sense, because only by common sense we can start to see, that men and women are, indeed, equal. Equal not in the understanding of sheer physical capabilities, but rather in making the same choices and expecting for the same outcomes as men get. And whatever your views are, it's hard not to admire feminists when they are making statements and the best jokes in such a badass manner as in these funny Tumblr posts below.
Bored Panda has scrolled through the depths of Tumblr, collecting hilarious jokes that advocate of women's rights have laid out while remaining completely on-point. Some are savagely destroying articles in the media, some are taking down popular beliefs, but all of these claims and funny jokes will put a smile on your face. Scroll down to enjoy the entries, vote for your favorites and check out our previous posts about feminism and hilariously funny women here and here.

Those brooms don't have bristles... These ladies are straight up beating dudes with sticks and I'm ok with that.
A straight up beatdown is probably illegal so we're all gonna say those are brooms. Lol
Load More Replies...this comment is two years old but I agree WHERE DO I JOIN???
Load More Replies...Honestly, they need to stand up for what they believe in. You go, girls!
Kolvanov... is it a deliberate race to the bottom for you with all your down votes? I am pretty sure everyone knows what the reviewer meant. It's archaic and pathetic to view people like that these days and nothing to do with political affiliation or feminism. Anyone can be leered at by someone disgusting and we don't know that the servers were women. Kudos to the restaurant owner.
Load More Replies..."Show more skin"? This is exactly the nonsense that is wrong with the world.
Or maybe just tell the owner to go to a strip club and eat at the buffet there.
I meant the owner of the review, not the restaurant
Load More Replies...First of all, who would anybody ask someone to “show their skin”? Not once in my lifetime did anybody, not even a man, would ask me to show my skin like what the heck? What point are you trying to prove here?
I was going to say "None, because they're waiting for a woman to do it for them".
This is wrong as f**k. It says how many FEMINISTS not how many WOMEN. A feminist can be a man too. Most feminists are idiots. This is not misogynist. Its is misofeminist.
No I understood it perfectly. Lmao posted this in the wrong section was a response to Rany inbred? Nice name BTW.
Rather ask for reasons why every family should find their own share of labour... Whether it is paid, voluntary, housework or whatever!
So true. If one partner stays at home and the other one works full time, it should be obvious who'll do the household stuff.
Load More Replies...I'm also f*****g sick of people saying "Oh, so you're babysitting the kids eh?" when I'm alone with MY sons, OUR sons. No, I'm not babysitting, I'm being a f*****g father! Sheesh. End of rant.
I don't get this one - if the house is dirty you clean it, if you have a penis or not. This kinda s**t starts in the raising. My parents made me clean up after myself and it stuck.
Jesus, it's so unbelievable what kind of world we live in! Also did anybody read the comment under the article name, "it might not be much fun initially, but the payoff is more than you imagine." Excuse me, what payoff do you think your getting? Sex for cleaning the house? No, thats where your wrong buddy.
What the hell are you talking about?!?! Single for a long time, or what?
Load More Replies...thank you for the advice nature i will keep this in mind for next time :D
For them it's part of mating. this was just a pissed off shark not taking s**t from some douche bag shark.

And her response, "Oh excuse me. My hand shakes so when I'm around you."
Now this one is appropriate, it doesn’t generalize all men, it attacks just the pervs.
From now on I am barking or doing this here!!! Touchy feely gross guys.
Always loved Donna when she said stuff like this! I think that's why whenever I see a picture of her I think that whatever it is, I can do it :)

uhm kind of off-topic but that girl in the first picture looks like the teenage sister or younger version of the lady from the distracted boyfriend meme...the expression says it all no need to do a dna test.. Screenshot...e828ce.png
She defaults to calling her own potential kids bastards and moron just because he's the father. She's not a good woman or mother.
she´s not offending her own kids, I don think she even HAS kids and who said she wants to be a mother? you´re completely missing the point.

I'm to old for tumbler or most social media but I do wonder why millennial men feel they need to articulate every thought they have especially the stupid ones and especial to the world? I think things some may think inappropriate from time to time, and I keep it inside my head, it makes life easier.
I really can't understand the desire to always put "millenial" in front of every stupid group of people they encounter. Stupid people are NOT restricted to a certain decade! I bet you there were stupid people in the stone-age already!
Load More Replies...the guys who say this must think that the world revolves around them and that women look a certain way for them
I mean the purpose of makeup isn't to deceive, but to enhance certain features. If you wanna be artistic, that's cool, but it's still not lying.
The only stupid one around here is you, who thinks men are stupid and privileged.

Or you can just tell him to stop and he’ll stop. You don’t have to become an angry elephant and started trampling on him.
if you really think that, then you haven't even had a glance of what reality looks like for us. literally disgusting how small-minded you are, wow

I should do this more often! HAHAHA! I can just picture the men running away from me!
Men get freaked at the simplest things... lets all scream, and scare all the idiots away! 3–2–1!!!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!
This def made me laugh! I def wanna try this sometime so now I look forward to being cat called lol
I quit reading magazines if you took out all the ads you'd be left with maybe 10 pages.
But isn't anything you see and have to deal with in such a magazine something you're voluntarily reading or giving consideration to? I don't like how Men's Health seems to suggest a new 'revolutionary' workout routine every four pages and 75 new must-eat super-foods every issue. So I don't read Men's Health much, and when I do I take it all in stride.
It's kinda lost that with the latest generation of feminists, though.
The original meaning of the word feminism has been absolutely destroyed by modern day feminists in America
I love how angry men who hate women have decided that feminism stands for women hating men. Y'all should really bring some electricity to that tiny pea brain of yours, see if it can create a thought that makes sense after all
Is it common sense that there are no gender differences? Is it common sense that, as (Gloria Steinem and Bella Abzug said in an interview with Larry King) all occupations must have a 50-50 gender balance in the pop. of who does them? Is it common sense that gender is an invented construct AND also that there are actually thousands of types of genders and they all must be recognized? These are all debatable claims that need a lot of careful consideration.
Of course there are gender differences. But the main object of feminism (I prefer the term equality) is that everyone has the same opportunity, regardless of gender. Whether they take up those opportunities is up to the individual. So if a woman wants to be an engineer, and has the same degree as the man, she has equal chance of being hired. Likewise, if a man wants to be a kindergarten teacher (for example) he should have an equal chance of getting that job as an equally qualified woman. Gender should not come into the hiring decision. A more basic example would be that a girl in a third world country has the equal OPPORTUNITY to get an education as a boy. No, all occupations shouldn't have a 50/50 split unless that is the split of those applying, then it should happen naturally anyway.
Load More Replies...She is absolutely right about tge conservative men, but it surely is not 100%. Such simplifications are totally unfair to women who are forced to abort or who's live situation give them no choice although they would want to have the baby. Mocking them by putting them into the 100% does not help .
Maybe not all women who get abortions WANT to get them, but are they grateful they're able to get them when they need to? You bet. The alternative is often a high risk of death.
Load More Replies...Dear men who are pro life, get pregnant and then we'll talk. -Sincerely, all women.
Why are so many people wanting to cram their filthy noses up our crotches? What is that?
Load More Replies...In order to put all "male" politics aside, I suggest that only female politicians and female citizens should be able to vote on these types of issues.
Did you know that a good 75% of all abortions are performed on women who are on birth control ? Sooo... Let's cut them some slack, shall we ?
are you sure that women that don't want to have a child, should still get it- just for punishment?? Who exactly would you guess, will have to endure the consequences? Not only this mom that will rase a child with constant regrets, but the child itself, that will feel that it is an unwanted accident. And don't bet on the fact, that a mother automatically will develop enough love, for a child that means lifelong responsibility and sacrifice, against her choice. What would you say to those unloved children? -" Well sorry but your mom didn't use protection- you're her punishment." ??
I am one of those children. I am 100% pro-choice.
Load More Replies...Some polls show that a non-trivial portion of women are against the right to choose, and a non-trivial portion of men (myself included) are for the right to choose.
Hahahahaha! I love this one. Had a conversation during our family Mother's Day get together about this topic. I was telling them about a conversation I had with an ultra conservative christian woman in one of my groups (think Duggar-like) who is militantly pro-life. I explained to this person that being pro-choice (me) doesn't mean I am "pro abortion" it means I don't feel I have the right to tell ANY woman what she can and cannot do with her own body. We're not the best of friends.
Umm...Men do not get pregnant to have an abortion. Are you really that stupid to think males can get pregnant? This is the dumbest post I’ve ever seen in my entire life living on this planet!
Because of male-dominated cultural beliefs that treats women like they're some kind of mysterious and/or inferior sub-species, instead of treating them like people. People are acculturated. They aren't born a******s, rapists, douchebags, etc.
Load More Replies...Yeah, but then these exact same lackwits are constantly calling women ugly for not wearing makeup
You are a false advertisement. Your expectations are to give equality to both men and women and your reality is to start World War 3, possibly 4.
Oh that’s funny. Because no one says this. And you’re trying to find as many negative things about men as possible. You can hear the mic drop
I don’t remember who said that, but I do remember hearing it before.
Load More Replies...I'm all for gender equality but why have some feminist taken up the fight to generalise all men as X,Y,Z? It's arguments like this why people make the distinction between gender equality and feminism.
Women who generalize men are sexist too, and in my opinion shouldn’t be counted as feminists. Feminism is supposed to be about making women equal, not bringing men down.
Load More Replies...This isn't feminism. This is just straight up man hating. No NOT all men are the same way just like not all women hate men and assume all men are the same. Just because you dated a few jerks doesn't mean all men suddenly are jerks. Not all women are the same either. A man could literally make this same post and turn it around to say women. You would scream sexism, yet it's okay if you do it. See my point?
Guys...did you not read the title. THIS IS A JOKE
Load More Replies...Such a helpful attitude, NOT! It's the equivalent of a guy saying he can grab 'em by the ***** . Why don't you try presenting positive change, instead of mimicking the horrible behaviours of men that you pretend to hate?
So generalizing a entire group of people by race is racist, stereotyping women negatively is sexist, but grouping all men together as insensitive dolts is feminist? Idk think that’s advanicng anyone’s cause well. I know many out of touch men, and many out of touch white people (which I am as well), but I also know many enlightened parties in both groups. Acknowledging those and empowering them seems like the more positive reenforcement to effect change. I mean, you seem to think all men are dogs, and isn’t positive reenforcement the proven standard in canine training? 😏
I agree, and by talking about the men and women who are out of touch with their degrading behaviors towards others, we may, as a species, evolve to be more humane to each other. Feminism is really just trying to get the world to understand we only wish to be treated humanely, just like POC want to be treated equally. We need more educated enlightened parties to raise our voices against the darkness. I do not think all men are dogs, there are many that are great. Same as the women. It's the few rabid ones that tarnish themselves and others and we, on all sides need to point out their madness and "put them down"
Load More Replies...this post clearly shows that she hates men

Load More Replies...Scientists say it's impossible to understand women because of their nature...or maybe because men are just idiots.
Mhm. Thanks. Or we can't understand women because humans are all different and have a different way of thinking each. So a personal opinion goes here and it sounds something like "I do not understand anyone for s**t". Then again it may be just because I'm an idiot.
Load More Replies...This post (which I've seen a few times before) does kind of bother me, as it characterizes men in general as people who don't listen to / understand women.
And it makes all women sound the same. I don't like when these sorts of things don't acknowledge that everyone is different
Load More Replies...Actually what Trump did was sexual assault, proper, actual men don’t talk like this, it isn’t man talk, however said that is a d*ckhead, I can guarantee that most men aren’t like that. The percentage of men that do this are small but loud, and give the appearance of a majority, and they need to stopped and taught manners.
YOU'RE GENERALIZING AGAIN! I don't think you understand the vast amount of men who don't like Donald Trump, in part because of his sexual misconduct, and the woman who voted for him anyway.
I know, smh, not sure why those women and the religious right support such behavior. How can anyone preach moral and religious behavior yet support someone who is basically immoral and breaking most of their religious codes? SMH
Load More Replies...It is Angelica! The artist specializes in Hamilton art.
Load More Replies...Is this based on a real conversation she had, or is she making a hypothetical strawman argument in favour of generalizing all men based on the generalization that all men support Trump's pussy grabbing comment, because "that's just guy talk"?
My thought precisely! Mocking generalization by generalizing the men's reaction... I am a guy, and there's no way that I would support such stupid and thoughtless talk.
Load More Replies...I've known men who talk like Trump. They were douche bags. I chose not to associate with them.
Not all men talk like that, not all men support Trump. There are no absolutes, and to think that all men, all women or all people do or think something is absolutely wrong!
The only thing I could focus on is if this is Angelica. (from Hamilton)

The one who started this conversation doesn't realise the paradox of his own sentence. If females were privileged, they wouldn't need to fake a headache to avoid doing what they're not in the mood for.
It's also not much of a privileged considering guys can also "fake headaches", the guys not to smart.

Load More Replies...I was taking a cultural diversity class once and the muscular, 6'2" instructor stated that white women crossed the street when they saw him walking their way because they feared black men. I asked him if black women did the same thing and he said he'd never noticed. I asked him to pay attention and tell us at the next class. Turns out they did, which spun his worldview. I explained that most women confronted with a large, unknown male will put a safe distance between them as a matter of self-preservation. He honestly could not comprehend that women who did not know him had no way of knowing he was nice. Next class, he told us he started crossing the street when he saw lone women heading toward him, and many of them made eye contact and nodded. He was amazed that a little change like that made him less threatening.
This is awesome. That a PERSON - not make, female, black or white, just a person,- would stop and take honest stock of something in their lives and adjust their behavior in such a way as to make all humanity better.
Load More Replies...this needs more votes. this is a perfect showcase of double standards in men.
My husband and I argued fairly often because he didn't understand why I didn't want to go jogging by myself in the forest. He thought I should just put on my shoes and go by myself because he didn't want to jog with me. He doesn't "get" that women everywhere have to think about their safety when doing even "simple" things.
I am absolutely flabbergasted at the sheer idiot mentality of this moron. Can he actually read and work out what is being said? Does he not even see what his words mean? How ...what?...in this ...why...oh fuckit, what is the point.
I once had a military muster (they gather inactive members, update data, and what-not in case they need to recall us) and I sat next to a guy and made some small talk. Days later, a guy kept calling my workplace looking for me--when I finally was there for a phone call, I discovered that when I went to the bathroom, he went into the file folder on my chair and wrote down my contact information...and was calling an air traffic control tower to look for me. ...Yeah, that got shut down immediately, but I was on edge because I didn't know if he had copied my home address while he was rummaging through my folder.
#nodogbite is sadly a good example of how utterly dense and stupid most men are. There are - thank God - men that have common sence. To bad they rarely speak up.
I'm happy to say most men I know are not utterly dense and stupid at all. Some are, of course, but not most, by any stretch of the imagination.

I actually have no issue with this. If the man works and the woman stays at home, this should happen. If the woman works and the man stays at home the man should do this. If they both work, then they should always do it for each other. Nobody should have to come home after working all day and cook and clean, especially if their significant other stays at home.
it's a damn shame that the world only seems to listen to the loudest argument
Yeah, have you noticed how female politicians have deeper voices? Now you know why...
The reason why people don't listen to you when you're talking about feminism when you're a woman is not because people are sexist, it's because there are so many feminists that are female spouting absolute garbage just to prove their point, when women in the US have a lot more privilege than Men, we get punishments that aren't as harsh as a sentence for a man would be for doing the exact same crime as a woman, there are men being prosecuted in the US because of women making false rape claims and I'm not saying every single claim that a woman makes about rape is fake, and so many rape cases that are won, are usually deemed as real rape, but nobody has ever heard of a court case where a man claims that they have been raped, women can pull so many things especially if they're underage
actually . if women as a whole just stop doing everything they do for one day.. every where. just get up and take the day off with friend. no shopping no house work no minding children no going to work. the whole deal. prepare well and just be gone for the day. also no sex. they will notice and rethink things. sadly we can't get the women to pull together to do this..
You can do that, but you're preaching for Western feminism. Preaching Western feminism on cultures that are inherently not Western won't work, as they have different social issues and different goals (sometimes both of which conflict with Western issues and goals). Remember, no one problem is the same everywhere. Every culture has its own gender issues. For example, choosing between raising your children or working. That's not an issue in the west, but in countries like Japan it's a pretty significant social issue.
I don't get guys who think "you're not like other girls" is somehow a compliment because other girls are often awesome
Because men often have a lower sense of individuality then women. Because we often have to do very faceless, nameless, horrible jobs where we all dress the same and arent recognized for our efforts. Things like working in sewers. Blue collar work. It's really hard to feel like you're an individual when everyone refers to you as "The electrician" or "The sewage guy". SO when we're told by a girl that 'were not like other guys' It's a nice thing to hear. Its nice to know we've done something to stand out and elevate ourselves over the faceless, nameless herd we're so often associated with.
Load More Replies...Uh well. This goes both ways, of course, and the reason this is a thing is because most people are wildly boring and uninteresting.
both genders say this.. and it is a compliment. It means you are unique to them. Most people wash over my life but there a unique few that are not like the rest.. they are special, to me. So cut Male Character some slack, Female character.
Well, to be honest, whenever I meet a *person* who isn't a boring conformist I'm surprised. This is hardly a gender issue. This is especially true with how people present themselves. Go on a dating website sometime and read profiles. Most of them are so bland a horoscope would provide more insight into their character.
Incorrect. In this stereotype, the female characters usually believe it themselves.
If you want to really become sad, try looking at the "measure of gender inequality" in fiction called the "Bechdel Movie Test" which is a "simple test which names the following three criteria:: (1) it has to have at least two women in it, who (2) who talk to each other, about (3) something besides a man. " Sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bechdel_test and https://bechdeltest.com/
The statement is witty but the writing looks like it's been done by a 6 year old child.
As a person with awful handwriting, this is offensive. I know many 6 year olds who write better than me.
Load More Replies...Please don't get too mad, I simply don't understand. Do people think this is right? We're biased against men wearing sports clothing because they support a team yet we're disgusted if a man treats a women differently when she's wearing certain clothes? It seems like this person is sexist against guys when they say this. What about all the stuff about letting women wear whatever they want? I totally support that, but does it not apply to men as well? So many questions. Maybe someone could explain? Hopefully without getting into a heated argument?
Well, it’s because in many court cases these days, people often say, “she asked to be raped, just look at what she was wearing!” And this statement was made to contradict that, to show how ridiculous it all is. Hope that explains it :)
Load More Replies...No, but if all you do is talk about feminism, you become bland and (quite frankly) not interesting. If all you do is talk about this 'feminist c**p', you'll drive everyone away.
I don't accuse anyone of "stare-rape" (fist time in my life I've ever heard that expression), nor do I revoke consent after the encounter. Nor do I hold all men I meet accountable for the behavior of the bad ones. However I AM a crazy-a*s feminist and I'm not even that good looking and I don't have any trouble getting dates. My last one was a lawyer. CHOKE ON THAT.
Load More Replies...Entitlement isn't hoping to some day find a woman who desires you. Entitlement is expecting a specific woman to desire you. Don't confuse the two.
women get friend zoned too. we sing angry songs on full blast and then move on to the next guy. i think guys who feel like they're "always" in the friend zone should try it. or they could just ask normal men how they handle rejection.
Preferably NOT advice from an online echo-chamber of angry/bitter men with social skills problems, like "The Red Pill" or "pickup artist" forums.
Load More Replies..."Sincerely every friend zoned guy ever" doesn't speak for us! - Sincerely every guy who thinks that this dude was a f*****g moron.
I don't think the 'friend zone' exists. It's the 'I don't want to date you or have sex with you zone'. You haven't been 'friend zoned' she just isn't into you.
I think it’s called friend zone because since they don’t wanna date you, a friend is the farthest the person can go in terms of getting closer to them.
Load More Replies...This isn't about 'not all men'. This is about the guys who get pissed when a girl doesn't want to date them.
Load More Replies...Well technically, if the guy tries to ask the girl out, that means he willingly walked into her life fully aware of what might happen and (hopefully) will accept the consequences. If a girl was talking advantage of him, she would probably ask him out first, in which there is no friendzoning. And if you’re talking about her taking advantage of him as a friend, then that is an entirely different topic.
Load More Replies...No, the "friend zone" in this case is a "nice guy" who is nice to a girl purely for the purpose of sleeping with her then they get upset when she doesn't sleep with them because they feel that their nice attitudes require women to sleep with them or believe that if a woman is nice to them in anyway shape or form that they want to sleep with him,

Bennet is okay, but the TV show doesn't have to appeal to anyone. The whole point is detailing life inside a female prison, where the guards are (in fact) d***s regardless of gender.
In that case try Friends but beware, lots of idiots think that it is racist (no black main character).
I never understood this kind of phrase anyway, because people are individuals and sometimes have wildly different likes and dislikes.
Oh no. What a shame. The sexists will. Stop talking. Oh no. Sad.

I agree wholeheartedly but is that a gif of brendon urie or am I just so brainwashed by the emo that I don't know anyone else.
It's what feminism has become. There's a reason people think feminism means 'females > males', and it's because of all the women out there screaming things like 'kill all men'. Just accept that feminism has become a toxic movement already.
And like 90% of those people are trolls who haven’t got a grasp on what feminism is.

..all funny people I know are women...I dont know a single funny man.. I think this person is making up facts due to what movies he's seen..Because the funny characters are always men in movies. Movies and real life arent the same..
This is KINDA true. Bone marrow babies exist, but they lack so many, oh soooo many of the nutrients they need, and they don't even live for 2 years. so hopefully um yeah nobody tries this and then gets heartbroken
Well, no, as it requires a whole bunch of bone marrow cells and someone to implant the cells. There is some argument over the morality of eradicating an entire gender, that and the cost per individual is well into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Feminism and gender equality are not synonymous. Feminism promotes equality for women. What you're thinking of is egalitarianism.
Ok, the reason people split gender equality and feminism is because 1) feminism can get associated with people who think they're better than men, and that men should lose rights, and 2) there are so many various genders by this point that feminism doesn't really work as a title.
A woman who says men are lesser than women is not a feminist. Feminism should be about equality.

Because if that's their target they missed the point. I will buy them and I will shove as many as I can fit into my mouth as possible. Women Doritos or not. Also F uncomfortable Feminine products. Ladies have enough BS to deal with the least that could be done is for someone to put some effort into giving them more comfort when dealing with the c**p their bodies go through. Like can they invent a time release tampon that slowly time releases like Vicodin or something? Would that help? There are so many things I don't know. Scientists and Dorito makers. Answer me!
Lol...I think it turned out to be a hoax or something, but supposedly they were going to have less flavor dust and packaging that didn't crinkle so loud, or something dumb like that. Why do you even need them? I don't have a problem with normal doritos
honest question, ya know when you're like, anywhere and someone (man or woman) walks past and smells damn nice, kinda like 'yeah that's the smell I wanna smell like' or 'I think my partner would love that smell' sorta smell, ok, how do you ask them what it is without sounding like a stalker or creepy as hell?
If the person isn't in a rush, or has headphones in, or is reading, or any other form of obviously busy a simple "excuse me, my partner would love that perfume, can I ask what it is?" is polite and not offensive =)

If it's the two of you on a deserted subway platform at night, and you're a 6'2" bodybuilder, and the other person is a) female, or b) a male smaller than you, you should just leave them alone, because you are likely to appear threatening. If you accidentally make eyecontact, nod briefly, then go stand at the other end of the platform.
There's a difference to "has anyone ever told you you're beautiful" and a simple, "You are beautiful". One is a compliment (we'll ignore whether or not it is a wanted compliment as that is a different discussion and depends on a number of factors) while the other... well, it's hard to explain without writing a mini novel, but it's just a different sentiment and adds a creepy factor to the person saying it. It becomes more about the person saying it ("I noticed" "I'm the first to tell you this" "I have the balls to tell you this" "No one else but me has realised this and/ or said it to you" etc) than about the person it is being said to.

I have never once been cat called .cause I live in a country where we teach guys not to do that
The first time i was catcalled i was twelve, my mom saw it as well and it was a sucky day for both of us
Statistically speaking, men are more likely to be victims or random acts of violence than women, so you have nothing to fear form a stranger. From a relative or partner, however...
Carry pepper spray, and a mace gun (range 20 feet). The mace gun lets you spray him in the face from a safe distance, then you take off. If his mates chase you, you turn around and spray them in the face with your pepper spray. Women need to do this consistently, and catcalling men will either learn, and stop catcalling, or at least be repeately maced. We also need a few good action movies where large gangs of vigilante women beat up catcallers, and castrate rapists. A couple of vagina dentata movies would be good too. Respect Her. Fear Her. Keep. your. distance. Because the female of the species *is. more. deadly.* than the male.
This is a thing that has seriously happened. Not the majority of men do this but we don't know if the man we just pissed off by not falling for him is one of the ones who is unstable. Not to mention murder isn't the only potential threat. Rape is also on the table and less likely to "ruin the mans life" as it will most likely be blamed on the woman for not responding to his advances, or the clothes she wore, or thay "she didn't keep her legs closed, she obviously wanted it and changed her mind!" As women we are raised to be wary of this cause it CAN happen. It HAS happened, and will probably happen AGAIN to someone until the belief that men are owed womens attention and are owed sex is removed from EVERY man, not just some of them.
Load More Replies...It's not about the actual chances of being killed or attacked. It's the fact that it could happen and that it's scary. Being catcalled can be just that, a compliment - but there are enough men who feel entitled to follow you if you do not react to the catcall or god forbid, even smile.

Because men are making an automatic assumption that the women don’t know anything about typical ‘male’ or male-dominated subjects. In actual fact, in the above cases, this women not only knew about said subjects but had active roles in creating them...to not even address this as a possibility, and to make the immediate assumption that these women just knew nothing about these subjects, is an example of men patronising and belittling women, simply because they are women

And you are just a real person who is incredibly dumb So no one will ever wear a shirt with your picture on it" 😜
Where do you think the concept of something being weird or gender inappropriate comes from? It comes from adults, both male and female, who have been socially conditioned over several generations to say what should or shouldn't be done by a girl or a boy. Many of these girls you are talking about probably caved to peer pressure and decided to follow the crowd instead of pursuing what they like.

This is 100% gender neutral. EVERYONE should do this. it’s basic good manners. ....And ladies, if any man whines about it, let go of the door before they can grab it.

As a man, I can tell you that it was taught to me growing up by my mother. I was always told that it was impolite to not to hold the door for a woman. It took years to unlearn, and now I only hold the door if someone (either gender) is close behind me and/or carrying things.
I've held doors open for many different people including guys. Never encountered that. Too weird.
I hold the door for everyone if I get there first. Never had a man act uncomfortable

I've had 8-bosses in my career so far, 3-women, and 5-men. Guess how many of the women were good bosses? (Hint: Three). How many of the men were good bosses? ... Two. The other three guys are good people I like and respect, but they were poor leaders. The only time I've been put off by female leaders is when they act like men. Not that I blame them, because I think that's what s been required to obtain leadership roles. But I think that is starting to change some recently. Not fast enough, of course, and maybe its wishful thinking. But i sure hope so. The world is better with women leaders. (For anyone wondering, I am a very straight, very white, American man).
Okay. So there are two ways one can look at this. One can either focus on "girls that are anit-feminist" OR on "anti-feminist just to be considered chill by guys". And at least going through comments I think we all understand feminism is about gender quality and not putting either of the gender down. So be kind to each other and understand that same thing can be viewed from different perspectives and still believe in same thing.
So you're saying they need feminism when they individually don't want it? That's.. kinda stupid. How about we let everyone do their own thing instead of us telling them what to do or what they actually want?
Just because they're anti-feminist (cuz let's be honest, they're a sorta extreme crowd), it doesn't mean that they're ok with being objectified.

Can I just say that I'm jealous by the amount of cheaper-but-stylish clothes women get? I can't find any bloody floral prints unless I want to pay a fortune or look like a Hawaiian tourist stereotype.
Problem is one of quantity over quality. The cheaper aspect means they fall apart and constantly need replacing. Even expensive women's clothes are less durable than men's unless you shop at LL Bean or REI

He probably should have kept his mouth shut about the whole thing and just enjoyed her company.
Eheheh, true. But in my opinion, what you mentioned can even be part of artistry. The problem with such a song is that it encourages girls to feel bad about themselves for the sake of being loved. Some girls are very sensitive and will actually buy into this.
Load More Replies...True that one. If you really want to make a romantic love song about loving a girl who really is all modest or maybe even self-deprecating, the better lines would be the following: "I wish you could borrow you my eyes, so the next time you see yourself in the mirror, you could see what I see, the beauty that I see". Or something like that anyway. I mean, if you really love somebody, you wish them health and happiness, no?
Side thing. I’m a lesbian. I recently realized that those songs men write about women can be used by me to sing about other women. Woah. Remember this isn’t actually related to the post.

Or maybe it's a turn on to tell someone something they didn't know, or believed in.. To, you know, make then happy? Crazy thought, I know.
I think the problem is not the song itself, but the number or songs like this. One song can even reflect what you say, and be pure, and nice and all. But when you have a whole repertoire of songs like this, it starts to feel imposing and even aggressive.

I mean, it's also insulting to young men if people assume they can't control themselves around a bra strap.
I don't think I've ever heard of a comparable dress code policy against guys' showing underwear (or, even worse, their cracks). Honestly, that is far more off-putting, distracting, and something we should actually care about stopping.
My daughter was in middle school when this whole trend of young men walking about with their underwear hanging out began. The (male) principal would call young men into his office, explain the idea of a belt, and uses length of rope to tie the patents so they sat at the waistline. Then make a phone call home to the parents. It was, and continues to be, against the school district dress code.

you really believe that? We dont live in 1900. We live in 2020. Men are not like back in the days. Of course exceptions exist. Idiot women exist too you know.
pro life is never a problem. it's forcing others to conform to it that gets people upset

and you talked about equality this is just sexist this is the type of feminist people hate
I kinda feel like it was more of a test run like "maybe they'll look like this," and after created man, god was like "yeah, let's not do that again"
Although i’m a total feminist, I had to disagree with a lot of these posts. A lot of them are just women being sexist towards men. As I keep saying, feminism is for equality, not for superiority. Although statistically more men are likely to be sexist towards women, I know a great many men who ARE feminists, and really trying to help the movement. It is true, that not all men are the same. Just like not all women are the same.
Yes. They are being overly sexist in some places here.

I don't believe in gender base sented cosmetics. I use aftershave for it's original purpose, to ease skin irritation, but shampoo, deodorant, whatever, I use whatever.

The problem is that people mistake equality with being the exact same. Guys are typically stronger, gals are typically more agreeable. So what? We can accept this and still have equality.
If I've digested properly: feminists are all women; feminism is about trolling me; and manly men are against equal gender rights. Deep breath, long sigh.
I may have smiled at one or two of them. The rest was just entitled misandrist sexism.
I don't think I have ever seen so many down voted comments on a Bored {Panda post.
I haven't scrolled down to the downvotes yet. You're worrying me.

We need a world of equal chancen and to stop thinking in buckets, classes, differences, rathen than people manifesting just other imbalance which they deem more appropriate. If we would all be but a bit more human and less prone to stupid stereotypes, much would be better
Yeah, I agree with you. Why do these groups fighting against racism/sexism/segregation fight back with the exact same things? It doesn't help at all.
