Trail cameras are used mainly by hunters, set up to record pictures automatically when it senses motion. They can also be used for wildlife photography, security or just simply observation of animal movements in their natural habitat.

Servals are great at jumping, so I imagine it wasn't a big deal for it to clamber onto the buffalo's back. The question is, why did the serval acted like that and why on earth is the buffalo so cool about it.

Deers dont have very good eyesight in the dark unlike the bobcat. All it takes for the bobcat to be discovered is they smell it or it makes a sound.

Deer are totally capable of turning their heads sideways, and they have pretty long tongues too. Also, I doubt that bucket is too securely stuck in there . His rear-most set of points is preventing the bucket from sliding-off backward, and since it doesn't appear to have a handle, one good shake of the head should slide it off the way it went on.

It's so surreal every time I see mountain lions near a house, due to the fact they used to come into our backyard all the time. Fed racoons, rabbits,skunks,opossum and deer for years. Lions showed up a lot once the deer did.

Oooo!! Nooooo!!! I really didn't need to see this one. Ok, I am going to imagine the cat turned around and slashed the owls face so the owl had to let him go! The cat ran back home and everything was back to normal. Kitty was a bit scratched up but lived to be almost 20 yrs old.

This happened to my 18 pound black cat as well. Owl did not get far. Cat survived and has not been outside since.

PS: Not true. My cats have all been outdoors-in-daytime/indoors-at-night cats, and have lived to 20, 18, 19, 19. That's a pretty good innings! Also, I feed them fresh and well so they just sleep in the sun.

Ok here is another one with a happy ending. The racoon is a feisty little critter, got himself loose and ran off into the woods. Meanwhile, the wild hog was shot and killed by the hunters who set this camera trap and so they had fresh pork for the whole winter. Everybody wins!

These animals are here in the suburbs, too .... fox ,deer , raccoons , ducks , turtles in my yard. Then, wild turkeys & boars after grubs on the golf course behind me . Unfortunately, we have coyotes ,too. One was at the end of the driveway at & 7AM .... not the least afraid of a broom.
