Some of the most popular pop culture books, films, and TV shows involve love stories, and while the Game of Thrones series is filled with plenty of gruesome deaths, it is no exception. Brienne of Tarth, now Knight of The Seven Kingdoms, is one woman who has proved she can hold her own and waits for no man. Still, her affections are obviously set on Jaime Lannister. Sure he has a chiseled face and body with golden locks but GOT fans are shipping another love interest for Brienne - redheaded wildling Tormund.
Since the day he set eyes on "the big woman" as he so affectionately called her, Tormund has taken every opportunity to shoot his shot to try and woo Brienne. Tormund is portrayed by actor Kristofer Hivju. He may not actually come from beyond the wall, but possibly close to it. Hivju is from Oslo, Norway but currently lives in Trondheim, Norway. As with most actors he owns homes in Los Angeles, California as well as London, England. The Norwegian actor has joined the multitude of actors hopping the pond to the U.S to share their talents.

Don't let Hivju's wildling appearance fool you, this distinguished actor is classically trained. The actor studied theater at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts. While many stage actors traditionally kept to this more classical form of theater, Hivju is part of the current community of performers who have been able to transfer seamlessly between live performances and the screen.
The valiant Brienne of Tarth is played by the talented Gwendoline Christie. Now known for playing an utter bad*ss on screen, Christie was close to playing a much softer role - a nun. No not onscreen but in real life.After careful thought she decided to take on acting instead and every HBO series fan is grateful that she did.
Christie makes an impression on the red carpet not just for her impeccable style but for her height. Standing at 6"3 she says her height has helped her with her dating life in an unexpected way: "I wouldn’t say it has increased my options. But I’ve always thought that the height is a very good detector of the good ones: because if they can get over that, they have got good mettle." We think a certain red-head Game of Thrones character is up for the challenge.
So what do Hivju and Christie think about their onscreen romance? “I think Tormund and Brienne are for real and I think that at least in Season 7 he found a purpose in life, because one thing is to run away from death, it’s another thing to find a perspective,” Hivju said in an interview, “His goal in life is to make babies (with Brienne), big strong babies that conquer the world — so if you ask Tormund who should sit on the Iron Throne, it’s one of their kids.” We approve and so does a myriad of GoT memes.

I thought these were supposed to be "Brienne AND Tormund" memes? About half of these were about Tormund drinking giant's milk (which isn't funny anymore after the 7,000th time).
