The moment that you think you’ve got life all figured out, the universe throws you a curveball. Possibly in the form of an interesting opportunity, but (if we’re completely honest) most likely in the shape of a funny or surprising picture that makes you snort into your cup of tea. You see, despite all of humanity’s flaws, people are actually very creative and come up with some extremely bizarre things.
One place that documents the funny, creative, and sometimes plain downright weird things that humanity has done is the ‘Of Course That’s a Thing’ subreddit. A community of just over 723k people, r/ofcoursethatsathing does exactly what it says on the tin: it invites people to share pictures of things that make you think, “Of course that’s a thing.”
It’s more a feeling than a phrase, and you’ll find the very best examples of just how peculiar a world we really live in below. Remember to upvote the pics that made you go “what?” and be sure to share this list with your friends. You and I both know that they’ll enjoy some of these images! Personally, as a huge D&D nerd, I’m a big fan of the bread alignment chart, but be sure to let everyone know which one’s your #1 pic.

Creativity is an intrinsic part of being human. It might not always produce something that’s objectively good in aesthetic terms, but it’s still one of the things that drive us forward. Beauty, after all, is in the eye of the beholder (even if that beholder should really read up a bit more on what’s actually stylish).
National Geographic spoke to Agustín Fuentes, the author of ‘The Creative Spark: How Imagination Made Humans Exceptional,’ about art and its relationship to our evolution.

“We tend to think of these beautiful cave paintings of the big mastodons and wild oryx as art. But that’s only about 40,000 years old. We know that 85,000 years ago, in southern Africa, our ancestors were carving on ostrich eggshells. Twenty thousand years earlier than that, they were drilling holes in small shells and wearing them around their necks,” Fuentes told National Geographic.

“One hundred thousand years before that, they were crumbling ochre and rubbing it on their bodies. Five hundred thousand years before that, half a million years ago, they were making tools that were incredibly beautiful and more symmetrical and aesthetic than they had to be to do their jobs. Art is very deep in human history,” Fuentes explained that art is fundamentally a part of who we are. Then and now.

The ‘Of Course That’s a Thing’ subreddit has been around since 2013, so you know for a fact that its content is something that captures people’s attention. No doubt, sometimes, because the pictures are very errr imaginative. Otherwise, without this quality content, the subreddit wouldn’t have survived and thrived for so long. The community will also be celebrating its eighth birthday in a couple of weeks. So, if you like their stuff, think about joining the subreddit or just popping in with a quick, ‘Hi, congrats.’
I Need This Lazy Susan Fridge!
The first time I saw this I thought it was stupid, but after feeling awful for having to throw away food because I just didn't see it way back in the fridge... I kind of want one. Plus I'm a klutz and always knock stuff over when trying to grab something in the fridge.

Before joining the subreddit, though, there are a few rules that you have to be aware of. They’re all common sense things anyway, so they shouldn’t be a problem for anyone who isn’t an internet troll or a massive bigot. Obviously, there’s no place for racism, sexism, or bigotry on the r/ofcoursethatsathing subreddit.

What’s more, the subreddit moderators ask their members not to post any memes or image macros and to avoid self-promotion posts. Furthermore, all members should strive to be polite and void rudeness. “Everybody has a line; if you feel yours was crossed, this is your report option,” the moderators explain. And that’s how you keep an online community wholesome and healthy. All so that people can keep on saying, “Of course that’s a thing.”

Shower Curtain With Pockets
For music it's perfect especially when you want to skip the f*****g ads!
Load More Replies...That's a pretty good rating, might be a useful investment.
Load More Replies...Maybe we are supposed to wear these? Wrap them around and yay!
Load More Replies...What is she doing with so many devices at once... I get using one for your onlyfans, but 3?
It's an ad .... To show how many devices can be used. Y'all really want to s**t shame someone for taking a f*****g shower.
Load More Replies...I don't want these but I will literally wear a shower if it means having pockets in my clothes.
I just wanted to reply something because we have the same username :)
Load More Replies...Fun fact: the driving force behind our phones being waterproof are Japanese teenage girls - apparently they absolutely cannot be without their phone, including in the shower.
For when you are a completely self absorbed doofus and have to see if people have validated your idiotic comments.
You just got to think that the person who invented this have access to all those units cameras
Whoever buys this needs to see a psychologist for their internet addiction.
My showers are usually steam baths or time to be alone with my thoughts ... for either, I use the time to play music that suits my mood so this would be perfect as I can select my music and skip my music as necessary without having to yell to Siri my requests ...
I am feeling SO old now... I have a radio (with antenna!) in my bathroom for music, and under the shower, I don't even put that one on. Nothing you said sounds like something i would come up at for a shower-session 😁

To maintain your sanity: go to the hardware store/Bed, Bath and Beyond. Buy and install a shower head that delivers the water like you are standing under warm rain.. Choose silence or if you have to, leave your phone on the counter playing some relaxing music. Put your head down if you can't stand water on your face. Just stand there and think of nothing. Try it. You might find that you like it.
I hate shower heads that come straight down on the top of my head. I want a regular, old-fashioned showerhead that sprays my body and I can adjust it or walk closer if I want my head wet.
Load More Replies...No but some people like me get lots of anxiety and basic things like showers can be a real struggle. I have one of these shower curtains and it legit changed showering for me to something I look forward to rather than dread. Just for podcasts or watching whatever show I'm watching. Small outlay: big results.
I like to listen to music while I shower, but my phone is in a pocket of my bathrobe streaming to a Bluetooth speaker.
My hubby and I have this. We both usually hate total silence in the shower, so we listen to music or podcasts. Great for skipping long ads.
Geez. I thought only new moms couldn't even take a break for a shower.
ya know, i don't get it, so maybe someone can explain this to me. Why is using a phone or tablet while sitting on the toilet no big deal, but while showering it is just VERY WRONG!
I think: because water makes it difficult to type and to watch videos and also because it would make you waste your time through scrolling or watching videos, thus wasting hundreds of liters of water!
Load More Replies...Is it sad that I think my husband would want this, and actually use it?
When you're so addicted to the internet and social media, that you can't even shower without it. . .or, you need to create content for your OnlyFans.
Umm, a shower takes me three minutes. If longer I need my eyes where my hands are. Do people just stand in the shower and watch Netflix?
