Lios - have to reply here as there isn't a 'reply' after yours. I hadn't noticed that about the little cat until you pointed it out. Deliberately breeding animals to make these physical changes is wrong. It can cause all sorts of health problems. Like cats with flat faces and the nose and eyes being really close? It causes breathing problems. This trend should be reversed but longer noses don't win in cat shows so there isn't the motivation amongst breeders. In the UK we are just about getting the message with dogs (after far too long!) but we need to stop it with cats too before it gets any further. This little cat is cute but standing up to poo - I hope it's just a quirk of the kitty and won't be a health problem.

On the pooping subject - I own a MCO, and when she gets her butt dirty or God forbid thers a pooper stuck to the fur, she immediately runs to the bathroom and waits to be washed under the sink.
That's way better what my friends cats do when I'm looking after them, they just run around until it flies off somewhere for me to find later.

cat's are strict carnivores only. sure a vet could help w. real cases of feline constipation. it's more likely just trying to keep itself as clean as be & wants to get of there quickly!

We , or more precisely, my wife, have 6 of the critters. Four spend most of the time in the house sleeping. We also have a female Pomeranian who regularly cleans the cats ears. They seem to love it. She is their Aunt Mimi.
Those are really great pics and situations. Just one thing is disturbing - please don't let your cat get obese... It can really hurt them :(
