Had this happen years ago. Working in a restaurant in an amusement oark. Cashier runs outside yelling " call medical" on way out. Someone had fainted. Called medical, dtepped outside and asked the line behind her to move to the other eindow and that cashier would help them (one from each line to be fair) Next guy in line said " no way, i waited too long" and stepped over the eoman on the ground. The district my munchkins attend actually did get each student a chromebook and offered a hotspot to each student who needed one. How in the actual h3ll does this parent expect a teacher to offer each student one on one tutoring? This isn't Minecraft, there are no teacher spawners.

If this was during the Great Viral Yuck, then I partially agree that it should not have been on the parents (shouldn't be on the teachers either!) to provide a remote computer for the kids to keep learning. Poorer children should not have had their educational education further hampered by populist governments' inability to look after their constituents. The rest of it, pure entitled bullpoo.

Sorry, missus, but my kid had never seen a laptop before he started 1st grade and right on the second week there was the lockdown. The kid was able to use the calendar, log into classes, check assignments, turn in pictures of homework right from the start with minimal explanation and no further supervision. I am talking about a kid who had never before used a laptop, smartphone, tablet or watched TV. I see you're stupid enough not to be able to do your parent duties properly, but get off the backs of the teachers, they've been through enough!

Why have children if you want any teacher to raise them?
