Which is why you don't need appliances with wifi and computers in the. I dread when my washer or dryer died because you can barely find them ow that are analog which is much easier and cheaper to fix. My dryer is about 20 yrs old and I've replaced the heating element a couple of times and 1 of the buttons.

The reason "Florida Man" is a thing and you get so many wild Florida stories is because of "transparency in government" laws - as soon as anyone is arrested their mugshots and charges are published and made publicly available to anybody. They used to have a magazine sold at gas stations and convenience stores that was just pictures of those arrested in your area that week and their charges - dunno if it's still around, but was always good for a laugh.

Years ago, in the UK, we used to make derogatory jokes about the Irish; I understand the Irish themselves made similar jokes about people from Kerry, and Americans used to joke about Polish immigrants. Then alternative comedy and political correctness came in, and we stopped (mostly, and rightly) making jokes about people's demographics and origin. So why is this suddenly acceptable? Are the people of Florida happy about this?
