This is why I installed an alarm clock under my screen, because one day I started a game at 7pm, and then I started to see the sun rise....
Bored Panda reached out to the creators of "Clueless Hero" to learn more about their creative process and themselves. Since their comics are mainly based on games, we asked the artists which games have had the most influence on their creative process for the webcomics. "Mostly Zelda and RPGs. If you think long enough about the mechanics and narrative elements in both, they start getting funnier and funnier."
Amusing tidbit: while the cheap foods go up in price astronomically, the more expensive stuff has grown in price much more slowly. Meaning it's technically more justifiable than ever to get quality foods instead.
At my local Wendy's, the single combo is 15 dollars. But at the Chinese place I go to, the large for most foods are 13-14 for better tasting, higher quality food. 12 if you only want fried rice. And that doesn't count the specials. Lately, I've been eating Chinese more then anything else when I do. Though, Taco Bell and Checkers can still be decent deals.

Gallon of milk = $4.50. Me: "That's way too expensive". Butterfinger Candy = $4.50. Me "Sounds reasonable. I'll get 2".
I'm more used to a gallon of milk being over $4 than chocolate bars. I'm appalled at the prices I'm seeing on the candy racks.
Load More Replies...I need my emotional messy cocoon :D once during a meeting, an ex coworker made a little paper hat and drew a funny face on it. I still have it, it's been 15 years. it's not a mess, it's a (large) part of my memory and the people I love.
Remember; only stupid people are tidy, a Genius rules the chaos . . .
It's there because you couldn't face losing it. Has this picture changed recently?
If Luis Lee and Ana Gaby Perez could collaborate with any game developer or company to create a game based on "Clueless Hero," it would definitely be Nintendo. "Their games got me into gaming, and 'Clueless Hero's' art style does fit nicely with other Nintendo properties. Fingers crossed that someday we’ll see a 'Clueless Hero' game on a Nintendo console!"
Zelda, undertale, and many other RPGs in a nutshell, but mainly Zelda link to the past, ocarina of time, and Majora's mask
Tons of Animes, Books, TV shows lol which is why some experts say QUIT gaming at 25 because it's just wrong for some 50 year old person to be playing as a child. But then Mario was 40? I wish more protagonists were over 20 lol 😆 but then kingdom hearts is so addictive and some rpgs with child heros have such great stories and immersion. I don't know why I still love Blue Dragon but I do. Or Stardew Valley lol I think of the Farmer as 30s? 40s? Mid life crisis? But then the Bachelorettes all seem so young 😬?
Load More Replies...Wasn't a child but ok, and for those who want to try and argue with me don't, one I don't want to argue, it's tedious, and two, he was 50 something when he started the journey
Load More Replies...While some eyes search for one to guide us some are staring at me, but I'm no hero, though I wish I could be, for I am just a boy, too young to be sailing, I am just a boy, and my future is unveiling, and I'm so frightened of failing...

Load More Replies...Being an artist isn't always about having a constant flow of creativity and excitement. Many artists face creative blocks or other challenges that make it harder to stay inspired. We asked the creators how they stay motivated to consistently produce comics. "Honestly, making comics helps me break the daily routine, and it’s actually what keeps the creativity flowing," they replied.
YOU'LL HAVE TO TRAIN ANOTHER HUNDRED YEARS TO DEFEAT ME!!!
The most rewarding part of creating "Clueless Hero" for the artists is getting positive messages and knowing people are enjoying the comic. "But also, the comic is in itself a reward; it gives me the chance to make something for myself and express myself through comedy."
Ehh this is not really true. There have been complicated stuff in video games for a long while. And there's tons of "games now" that are simple and uncomplicated. Just don't play (some) AAA garbage.
Could be true if they made this about forced tutorials. But you know... If they could have back then, they would have. Space was a premium. That's why the manual existed- say what they couldn't in game. And why we don't have them now.
Load More Replies...It's a game. It's a soft learning environment. Try things, and if they don't work,, restart and try other things. Life is for learning - in fact life *is* learning. Enjoy !
Sometimes I miss those games.. looking at you double dragon!
As a dev I try to give players the right circumstances to figure this stuff out of their own, but I do think this is justified if it benefits the narrative of a story rich game. Fallout 3 has a really long intro, but it's not really a tutorial, it's showing you why you should care about your character and their place in the world. There's been lots of games that have brought me to tears, but the only AAA game that ever has is Fallout 3, which wouldnt be true if it had an intro as rushed and messy as Fallout 4 or New Vegas
"Leaving it till later" has never been ( and never will be) a success strategy
You, sir, do not have ADHD. That rush of adrenaline and dopamine that comes with procrastination panic wrote many A+ papers for me in college.

Corporate likes things simple - that way, they think they understand them
Some smart answers only make you look more 'a*s' then 'smart'. Especially if ithe problem is vastly more complicated then you realize.
Many problems are much more complicated than we think - but sometimes an attempt at solving them is at least a step along the road to actually doing so.
