My cat,Turnips , always come running when I'm chopping something, in case I chop raw chicken. So disappointed when it's potatoes, onions or something else boring :)

My cat will come over me when they hear the sound of plastic or if I say "Hiti! Hiti! Hiti!"(Our native language [Dusun]) which means "Here! Here!Here!" in English. I used this phrase not only when I want to feed them, but also pat them.

I have the same with my dog.. Any kind of cans.. Or any kind of bags.. Anything that makes "sounds like my food" noise.. :D

I snip off the very tips of my cats claws. We have a scratching post also but she has a tendency to try hitting the dog in the eye and I REALLY don't want a blind puppy. But again I just snip off the super sharp tips of them NEVER like cut them short.

If I lift my youngest, she will look everywhere except where the spider is, eventhough she was meowing while on the ground. Duh

Or the other person gets all mad because you are comparing an "animal" to a human...well that animal is my child and gets treated as such and honestly I feel like all pet owners should treat their pets as a family member. The o lot exception there is a working animal BUT even those get treated incredibly well.
