This Twitter Page Collects Behind-The-Scenes Pics That Look Like Bad Memes And Here’re 30 Of The Funniest Ones
Movie and TV sets can produce the funniest photos. Sure, if you are a cinephile or work in the industry, they probably won't surprise you. But try looking at these images at their face value. Which is exactly what the Twitter account "Behind The Scenes Pics That Look Like Sh*tposts" wants you to do.
Sharing exactly what its name promises, the account invites you on a tour through Hollywood's biggest studios, and the fact that you visit them without context really makes them look like bad memes. Where else would you see a man chatting with a bloody Jesus Christ and a guy pleasing Spider-Man on a car?
Just like WTF stock photos, these images raise more questions than answers. And that's the beauty of them.

Now I finally know how it was done! (and these men must be really strong...
It's really very difficult to have enough confidence to let your weight as the actors did. There's a lot of previous training and team work before the shot.
Load More Replies...We all know how awesome this looked back then, now it just looks silly.
This isn't from The Matrix, it's actually a behind the scenes photo of Charli XCX and Troye Sivan filming their music video for '1999' which came out in 2019
How does a person get one of these jobs, where you dress up in green leotards and help with the special effects?
Good question!😁 How are they advertising these jobs? "Looking for strong person who can hold at least his/her weight and who enjoy the green colour"?😁
Load More Replies...Matrix used wire work, this picture is from a much cheaper music video. The guy doesn't even look anything like Keanu Reeves.
Noooo it's dr strange reading comics of dr strangr. What do you thought superheros do at free time? When not saving the world?
Load More Replies...fun fact: to help him understand his role better, the actor who plays dr. strange went to a comic con and bought like all the dr strange comics :)
He also went into a comic book shop and did that. In costume.
Load More Replies...The person behind the project is the "crayola comedian" known online as Thunder Eagle. "I got the idea for 'Behind The Scenes Pics That Look Like Sh*tposts' from two other extremely popular accounts, @sciencesh*tpost and @lyricsh*tposts," Thunder Eagle told Bored Panda.
They typically receive around 3-5 submissions a day, at least in DMs. "The most popular submissions, as expected, are from CGI-heavy movies," Thunder Eagle explained.
"My word Voldemort! I didn't recognize you with your nose!" "Yes, My dad finally gave it back"
If Disney made Harry Potter this would have been the ending.
Probably the one where he put the fart machine Radcliffes sleeping bag.
Load More Replies...I always think this scene was shot in a Bathroom.. with all the tiles lining up..
I've done the studio tour where this was filmed. It's quite impressive.

Behind the scenes content has other names too. For example, you may have noticed extra footage on movies or documentaries titled as 'never before seen videos', or 'the making of.' Behind the scenes is raw, often unedited footage about the inner workings of the team—it cuts through the mystery and presents things the way they are rather than the way filmmakers want you to see them.
Behind the scenes pics and videos help people connect with a film in a way that's not possible through scripted content.
They can cover various stages of the journey, starting with the idea, planning, shooting, equipment used to bring together the different pieces of the puzzle. Audiences relate to such unique and authentic content, which can also increase viewership.
Interestingly, a survey by Livestream in collaboration with the NewYork Magazine found that 87% of people will watch a video if it includes behind the scenes content.
I didn’t even think about that. In order to pet Rocket in that scene, he had to pet a human in reality. Must’ve been a little awkward 😂
So how was your day? A little weird I pretended to be a raccoon and Dave Bautista petted me.
They probably had SUCH a hard time doing this scene without busting up laughing every time!
I would be fired because I wouldn't be able to stay serious
Load More Replies...But.. But.. Maybe I'm wrong but is THAT suppose to be Bradley Cooper? Cuz it is Bradley Cooper who played Rocket, right? 🙈
I think it's Sean Gunn. Bradley Cooper was the voice but not the physical actor for scenes like this.
Load More Replies...Thunder Eagle thinks behind the scenes pics make such good sh*tposts because they're so goofy looking. "Whether it's a guy in a monster costume doing normal things, pre-rendered CGI, an out-of-context storyboard, or whatever else. They change how you view movies you're so familiar with," they said.
Thunder Eagle also has a Youtube channel. There, you can find deadpan comedic videos, "primarily about video games, accompanied by preschool-level drawings."
It makes me respect more the actor. I wouldnt be able to keep a serious face, and least a scared one, if i was attacked by a green man with a dog puppet
Gives you a lot more respect for actors when you see how ridiculous creating a film can be for them
I would also be frightened if a green man randomly attacked me on the streets with a dog puppet. This is what this looks like.
Great film! And one of the few that's actually better than the book that it's based on. IMHO
Pics like this make me respect actors' talent even more, because HOW do you take a green man attacking you with a puppet seriously?
'What am I doing with my life? I wanted to be an accountant! Look at me now!' *sigh*
This looks like Heidi Klum's alien Halloween costume.
I'll never look at that the same way again...
Load More Replies...Reminds me of the Red Dwarf episode where they tried to convince the aliens that they weren't human...
They did an episode where it showed all the character's dreams. This one (names Susie) dreamed of this. The actress that plays her got up and ran out terrified. That show is the best kind of bonkers.
Jesus this character always scared me so much, good to know it's explainable how they did that
Also one of the BEST character actors out there; Mr. Doug Jones.
Load More Replies...I heard that the actors in the original Planet of the Apes movies had to eat in front of mirrors so they wouldn't mess up the elaborate makeup and prosthetics. I wonder if Doug Jones had to do the same thing.
"Excuse me Doctor, I seem to have a human up my bum. There was a mix up with the a**l probe"
I wonder if that actor was tempted to take that costume out in public just to mess with people. Just sit on a bench in public.
moxx of balhoon: My felicitations on this historical happenstance. I give you the gift of bodily salivas. i was laughing so hard
I didn't realize Jack Nicholson was a Sith Lord. So many things make sense now.
Ian McDairmid played the 80 year old Emperor in Return of the Jedi in 1983 when he was 34 years old. He was heavily made-up to achieve the look shown above in 2005, and in ROTS the Emperor would have been around 60. Then he played the same character again in 2019 and would have been 115. That's time-jumping worthy of a movie plot in the Star Trek universe.
Especially as the shark was notorious for malfunctioning due to the salt water!

Load More Replies...If I remember correctly, there is a scene where David Hasselhoff swims Spongebob and Patrick out to sea over Bikini Bottom and then puts them between his pecs to launch them down? It's been a long time. I think this is the robo pec launch scene they're filming. I thought it was all video editing, I didn't think they'd have done, well, this.
You can tell how old I am by the fact that I thought this was David Hasslehoff.
It is him, well it's his likeness. It's an animatronic for the spongebob movie
Load More Replies...Yeah!! Ray Harryhausen.... I have all those old movies....fell in love with stop motion...
in third grade we did mini stop motion movies this was 2 years a go

Load More Replies...I'm wondering the same. It kinda looks like her even with the makeup, and the age of the photo looks about right for Burton's film, but a Google search on the image turned up zero matches. Here's a frame from the film... I'd say yes! Love HBC! hbc-planet...99a5de.jpg
If you ever want a good laugh, go on YouTube and look for the Pingu version of The Thing. It is brilliant!
The amount of people just commenting this is hilarious.

At first the top looks majestic, but then when you scroll down it looks like a hand auditioning for the muppets crashed the show, and the child wonders where it came from.
Well, you know when you'd pull a face and your mum told you to stop it or it would stick? She wasn't lying
Load More Replies...Army of Darkness! Obsessed with Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams! This was after Bruce got briefly sucked in by the wrong Necrinomicon. This is the third of the Evil Dead trilogy and was campy but hilarious and fun.
Well they are full grown adults inside the costumes.
Load More Replies...ima show this to mah enemies then play the teletubbies theme song when they sleep
Wha.... they're robots? How are there people in them if they're robots?
Please burn them, these things are going be what I die from.
Load More Replies...With teletubbies, anyone have any plot conspiracy theories on it? The group of childlike characters inside protective suits. The only adult voices are from pre-recorded messages from a speaker. An idyllic artificial environment, premanufactured food machines. I’ve always thought of teletubbies as alien children in a Post-apocalyptic protective environment , where all alien adults have died and the only remnant of the old culture is from the videos that play on their screens and the voices from the speakers. At least that’s what the sun baby told me.
Jim Henson -- what a tragic loss... such an amazingly talented man
The netflix series is stellar! If you love the original i really reccomend watching it!
I still miss Jim Henson. At least we have all the projects he worked on.
Jim Henson=Genius, foundation for so many incredible memories.
No, please trust me, you don’t. It’s extremely repulsive and not at all pleasant to watch. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it. You have been warned.

Load More Replies...The door would have sunk because of the weight, though
Load More Replies..."I KNOW there's room on the door, Leo, but that's NOT what the script says."
There is room for two people, but the weight of the two people would put the door down into the water far enough that both people would still freeze to death. The idea was that if he could keep her out of the water she would live
James Cameron said about this on Mythbusters It doesn't matter if he could fit the script called for him to die.
"Look, I'm telling you right now that there's room on there for both of you"
"Hey, Dr Kira" "yes Dr Zaius?" "How many humans does it take to change a light bulb?" "I don't know. How many?" "What's a lightbulb?"
I love behind the scenes pics of the Planet of the Apes. Always looks like margarita time. The makeup was so labor intensive it couldn't be removed between takes. They had to use straws, so their meals were blended.
And they often used mirrors, or so I'd heard, so they wouldn't mess things up with the straw!
Load More Replies...Wow, that’s the guy from The Neverending Story who rides the snail
Also all the oompah loompahs in the Tim Burton Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Among many other things.

Load More Replies...After years of being in front of the camera we now have our first zombie director.
That is Greg Nicotero he specializes in effects make-up but also acts and directs; he is a cool dude.
i'm pretty sure he can only do that because of the tail lol
Load More Replies...This one is so sad. Sir Ian McKellen crying, because he has to act by himself. The dwarves actors aren't even at the set. That's what CGI does..
if i remember corectly he said something along the line that this isn't what he became an actor for
Load More Replies...I walked out of that movie and demanded a refund. Only time I've ever done that in my whole life, but after what felt like two hours of unfunny dwarf antics I just couldn't take it any more.
I really liked this movie! If you haven't had a chance to watch it yet, doooo eeeettt.
i love this. "the only real reason you watch this show!" "80's reference!!!" this is beautiful
honestly i would much prefer to get this as a comic instead of watching the show
Placeholders so the crew and actors have something to reference for height and composition.

Is it? Honestly, I didn't notice. I will watch Karl Urban in *anything.*
Load More Replies...Lost keys down in the foot area. I could get graphic-hole on the back end....
Load More Replies...That scene scared the h*** out of me the first time I saw it. I love me some David Lynch weirdness but, dang, that was some high-octane nightmare fuel for me and I do not know why.
It’s weird, isn’t it? When you only see the “monster” for a few seconds, it somehow makes it a lot scarier. This photo is nothing, compared to how terrifying that scene was!
Load More Replies...Really really good film, especially if you're into mind bending dreamlike films. Very unsettling and scary though so you know.
If anybody wants to take a shot at explaining that film to me, I'd be most grateful.
I think it revels in its own mystery, but a certain someone might have ordered a certain professional to deal with a certain love interest and is facing psychological and spiritual consequences from it, creates an idealized reality where the truth is more managable but the truth lurks like a ghost until it strikes.
Load More Replies...This movie, though. If anyone asks me what depression is like, I just refer them to the first half or so of this movie and say "Imagine that's how you feel. All day. Every day. Everything looks like that. Everything feels like that. It's gray and cold and an endless set of concrete stairs." It usually gets the idea across in a much clearer way than words.
I haven't seen it purely because my depression is so bad that I feel like the movie will make it worse. Watching the trailer hit weirdly close to home.
Load More Replies...There is a film theory that questions if the whole film wasn't just Arthur's psychotic delusions. It was an interesting mental exercise.
Yes, but you'll have to walk it every day and clean up after it.
Load More Replies...Now they have to set up the building he's going to step on and demolish. HEHE
Having lunch with, um...That One Notable Sonic-Fan (if you know, you know).
I just saw this movie for the first time yesterday and even though I'm not usually one for Godzilla movies (unless they are getting the MST3K or RiffTrax treatment) I really liked it.
Is that a mouth? It looks like its throat is slit LOL
