But day-breaking fails have been well documented in the history of humankind, and there’s a silent agreement not to talk about ‘em too much. But what hasn’t been chronicled that well is animals going through a rough day, and we are about to change that. You heard me right. Our beloved furry companions have vile days too and they’re just as painfully funny. Squirrels, horses, doggos, they've all had their fair share of 24 hours turned nightmare.

POOR BABY!!!!! I would get that checked out. the whiskers are super sensitive, so I bet that hurt like hell, and a lot of cat's senses are coming from those whiskers, so he's basically blind for a while.

As far as I know the whiskers themselves are just like any other hair, only thicker and longer. The feeling is all in the skin where the hair anchors (just like anyone pulling your hair will make your head hurt - not the hair)

Didn't know about not pulling 😬 but my idiot doggo ate one of those stretchy sticky hand toys, and having to pull that out of his butt was so nasty. Especially when it got to the end and the whole thing snapped against my hand (had surgical gloves on) and splatted tiny pieces of poo everywhere.

My wife and I were on vacation on a small, tropical island. There is an iron gate in the wall along the street in front of the house where we rented a room. The small village we are in has pigs wandering around free. One afternoon several young pigs run from the alley by the house toward the gate and climb between the poles in the gate to get to the street. One pig has apparently grown larger than the last time she was here. She gets her head and shoulders through the gate, but the hips don't fit. SQEEAALL! We all turn to look and there is a cloth rag hanging from under her tail, pumping up and down with each squeal. Yeah, not what we came to see, but thinking about that pig brings back all of the memories of staying on the island.
