Animals often have instincts and senses more impressive than ours. They can see farther, smell better, and individual animals can also run faster, jump higher, and basically do everything better than us. But if there's one thing that unites all adorable animals and humans, it's the fact that animals, just like us, aren't immune to looking ridiculous every once in a while.

I hate to burst your bubble but I don't think this is a "fail" as you put it. From what I can see with the poor picture this LOOKS like a spaniel of some sort and they ARE water dogs. It's perfectly normal for them to go charging into the water. This wasn't a "fail" as you say.

NEVER let your ferret do this. Once they exhale, there is no room to expand their lungs again and they can suffocate if you don't get them out quick enough. This photo worries me every time I see it.

Man, ferrets *love* finding anything they can squeeze into. Their need to squish into tiny spaces sometimes outweighs their survival instinct, so you do have to be careful. My ferret once got stuck in a metal coffee thermos. She found her way out but i was terrified!

Daria they eat well over 100 lbs of vegetation a day. My zookeeper niece says that it's the ones in captivity who feed off LOTS of romaine lettuce. But all manatees feed on plants. Hope that helps

Now that's interesting. My golden, who at 10 1/2 years old still often takes a toy with her whenever she leaves somewhere will NOT keep a toy in her mouth when she "does her business". She'll drop the toy, walk a bit away from it and after she's finished "her business" goes back to get it. Nes is also NO dummy. Most likely knows her buddy there with her would grab that bone in a heartbeat if she put it down. Any dog I know would grab it.

This is not funny. I had a cat when I was 4 that slept up where the garage door was (when it was pulled up) often. When we came home one day (and the door was down), he was under the garage door. He had been squished, and died. Its dangerous. Garage doors and cats don't mix well.

#40 - the elephant holding its own tail with the trunk, is actually the saddest thing. She's doing that to make herself feel less alone, as if she's holding onto someone else. Elephants are very social, but she is all alone at that place. That's the real story behind that sad photo.

Wish I could add mine. I have a photo of 2 of our saltwater fish who went after the same piece of food. The porcupine puffer got there first, then the grouper's mouth closed around its head, so it inflated. They stayed stuck like that for at least 15 minutes before the grouper was able to shake the puffer loose. Both fish were fine afterward, although the puffer was gasping for a few minutes.
