These funny plot summary examples were part of the Twitter trend called 'Explain a film plot badly,' and though it does no justice to the popular movies, it’s absolutely hilarious! And no, no movie is safe from these hilariously inaccurate descriptions—from Twilight to the Harry Potter saga, every flick gets its fair share.

Ugh. I despise the term "friend zone". What the hell is so wrong with just wanting to be friends? If anyone feels that a woman "owes" you a relationship and you're upset that she doesn't want to be anything more than a friend, then that just proves that you never actually liked her to begin with. Otherwise you would value your friendship with her and you would at least be happy that she is in your life, even if you do continue to just be friends.

haha i am so gonna find that on youtube. Italy must be one of the leading countries in the world in wrong translating the titles of the films. When i talk with friends outside Italy about 70% of the films i don't even know if i saw it or not if i don't know the original title :D lmao

Some that I’ve come up with: The Wizard of Oz: Two women fight to the literal death over a pair of cute shoes. Minions: It’s about the Minions. My Little Pony: The Movie (80s version): Clovis Leechman somehow creates a ton of Muk before Pokémon was even a thing. Alice in Wonderland: A little girl somehow survives eating and drinking random things she literally finds just lying about. Thumbelina: It’s about some girl who get kidnapped by some frog with a chest literally bigger than the rest of her body (and that’s including the legs), gets called ugly by Gilbert Gottfried, And is lectured on the subject of love by Carol Channing. The Care Bears II- A New Generation: Misleadingly titled movie shows children trying to take care of a bunch of babies and doing a terrible job at it. Also has something to do about some whiny little female brat that is obsessed with winning that is somehow killed by a falling light and revived like Tinkerbell.

The Oogieloves: A trio of Doug rejects meet A list celebrities that are clearly regretting signing a contract to make a movie about getting balloons for their living abomination of a pillow that likes to spit out its own internal body contents. Also one of the freak doesn’t know what proper pant sizing is. Cool Cat Saves the Kids: A man that is clearly insane has a giant cat for his son and the mother/wife is just the son wearing paper lips and in drag and has two big name actors in the movie that are completely miserable and there is supposed to be a bullying plot but it only last ten minutes and teaches kids you can win a writing contest by simply writing the same line repeatedly. Revenge of the Nerds: A college fraternity house actively assaults another house and their leader teaches viewers that rape is okay if you dress up as Darth Vader and your victim will fall in love with you and marry you

It is in the UK, where the author comes from. It was changed to The Sorcerer's Stone for the US release, as the corp who bought it thought kids would not want to read about a philosopher.
