35 Times Entitled People Showed Their True Colors On Christmas (New Pics)
The holiday spirit is all about giving, and we’re not talking about gifts specifically. We mean spreading joy and love to those around you. Being compassionate and understanding and showing kindness to the world. It’s also about expressing gratitude for what you have and what you receive. This cycle of grace and generosity is what makes the season so special.
However, some people like to abuse the magical feeling of the holiday spirit that lingers in the air without carrying it in their hearts themselves. All they want to do is take and don’t even consider saying thank you to anyone. Find the worst examples of these scrooges by scrolling down below.

Geez, Having A Relative Abandon You Like This On Christmas Is Hugely Damaging Emotionally, Not To Mention Dangerous
While holidays are about kindness and all the other good feelings out there, there’s no denial that the material side of things, the gift giving, is also a part of it. And there’s nothing wrong with that—it’s one of the ways to make people in your life feel loved and appreciated.
Unfortunately, sometimes, the gifts you receive do miss the mark. Someone might have forgotten that you already bought yourself a cast iron pan or didn’t realize that orange is simply not your color. The good thing is that there is a chance you might be able to regift it.

I work in a $2 shop. We get people trying to bargain with us. "$2.50?! Can you make it a $1". Those people are so annoying!
The Holidays Bring Out The Very Best In Beggars
We’re saying “a chance” because there are certain rules you have to adhere to. After all, you do not want to embarrass yourself, the regift receiver, or the original gifter in front of everybody. So, here are the do’s and don’ts of regifting:
Do put the same amount of care and consideration into catering the gift. Don’t just regift something because you personally don’t like it or need it. Think whether the receiver would enjoy the gift and would have use for it. In other words, make sure it’s the type of gift you would actually buy for the person if you didn’t have it, if it’s something you’d spend money on. And if that’s the case, there’s no doubt you’re making the right decision.

"taking people's money"?! What are they talking about? The seller said no
Don’t regift to a person in the same social circle. That is, if you got a scarf from your aunt, don’t just pass it onto your cousin. There’s a high chance your aunt might see your cousin wearing it and have her feelings hurt. Instead, give it to one of your work friends that might appreciate it. That way you’ll avoid possible discovery.
CB Doesn’t Appreciate “Lame” Christmas Gift
I'm at the age where undies and socks are like... premium gift. I always need new ones, never get around to actually just buying any.
Once I hit my my 20s you have no idea how much I appreciated SOCKS. Try working an 8hr shift in worn out socks. I buy a 12 pack of socks for myself for christmas every year. Sometimes two. Seriously, take care of your feet.
Sounds like a teenager. An adult would be so happy to get this gift basket! Socks and undies? Yes, please!
A teenager with too much designer everything 😂
Load More Replies...I'll take it, maybe with a bigger bag of chips. There's other stuff in there and I see Reese's cups!
Them sour patch kids, too.. I’ll pick those clean like a carcass lmao
Load More Replies...If you don't like the gift, just say thank you and gift it on to someone else. And I hope whoever gave that gift, doesn't give them anything else anymore
If they didn't want it they should have said no thanks and let someone else have it!
Underwear, socks and sweets? Heck I'm happy when I get those. I will probably get those for Christmas, actually!
On the Hilfiger brand website, full price for mens underwear is $42.50 for a pack of four, undershirts are $42.50 for a pack of three, mens tee shirts are 34.50 each (they look like tees to me, but could be undershirts, so I looked up the prices for both), and ankle socks are $29.50 for 3 pairs. Then there are the treats and the basket to factor in as well. So we’re looking at way over $100 worth of items here. Not a damned bad gift at all, and one that took some thought, plus it took a bit of effort to assemble the basket so beautifully. Definitely not a cheap gift. What an ungrateful SOB to make such a mean and nasty posting.
This is all brand stuff, not cheap grabware from the sales table. How ungrateful. I do think you can say nicely if a gift is not to your taste. I personally think gifts should be given to bring joy and I would want to know if I got it wrong to get something better the next time. But there's a difference between saying oh man, I'm so sorry, but that's just not my cup of tea and this ungrateful btching here. There was definitely effort put in that gift and whoever complained that way is truly nasty. It's clear he doesn't complain because he doesn't like the products itself but out of greed because he wanted something more expensive. And my guess would be this was something from a family member who knew they need it and I bet those are sweets they usually buy themselves.
I would be damn happy with that . People don't understand that it's the thought that counts . They went thru the effort of buying and wrapping it in the bag . Be happy someone thought of you.
My kids appreciated socks and undies from the day they needed to buy their own. lol
Tommy Hilfiger? I can't say anything about the quality, but aren't they quite pricey?
I would absolutely love snacks and Hilfiger t-shirts/socks/underwear as a gift (and I'm not low income.) Socks and underwear are the most frequently asked for items from nonprofit programs. If it's a drive like that, this would've been a great gift.
When you burn the gifts, you also burn the love that prompted the giving. News-flash! Christmas gifts are about more than gratifying your hoarding a*s.
On two different Christmas Days from different people? I got - A huge pack of loo roll and tinned food (1st amazing gift!) Then a few years later - Warm boot type slippers and a 1kg box of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes!!! 💜😄💜 Loved all of it!!! ... These types of gifts really do show how much others think about you and what you'd maybe really like!
My step grandfather used to get me socks for Christmas. After he died, my little brother started getting me socks every Christmas because he could buy a pair here or there during the year and they were fairly cheap. He OD-d in 2019. It was a weird shock thing but I just kept thinking, no one will get me socks anymore. Now my aunt does and we open socks and cry. It's wonderful.
Someone is very unappreciative. This is a lovely gift, well put together and thoughtful.
I haven't seen a bag of chips go for 35 cents in over probably a couple of decades. If you know where you can get bag of chips for 35 cents, let me know.
At first i thought this was all they got from anyone, but comments made me realise its a gift basket.

Do keep it to yourself. You don’t have to tell the person you got the gift from that you are regifting it. Same goes for the person you are regifting it to. No one really needs to know. The only exception to this rule is if you have a very good relationship with the person and you know they will not take it poorly if you say, “This is actually a regift, but when I got this, I instantly thought of you.”

Ah Yes Let Me Just Deliver You A Free Fridge And Giant White Xmas Tree
You need a refrigerator, but you don’t need “a couple good size crock pots” (start with 2-3 pots of different sizes and you can upgrade your kitchen when you can afford it) and definitely you don’t need a “white 6’ Christmas tree with lots of decorations”. All these are wants and if you can’t afford them, maybe try to downsize them to your budget.
Don’t regift personalized items. Sure, you might not like the way those monogrammed towels feel on your skin or you might think the engraved locket is tacky, but they’re all tell-tale signs that it’s a regifted item. DIY things also count as personalized items, so hold on to that knitted sweater, even if it doesn’t really flatter your frame. It’s all about the sentiment that went into it.

Do keep track of the things you want to regift. Dedicate a little space for the gifts that you know will not fit into your life and keep them there. Just make sure to put a note on each one with the name of the giver, so you don’t accidentally regift it to them.

Some Holiday Entitlement From A Zero Waste Group
I'd like to see the list before I judge them. If there are reasonable options in a wide price range, I agree with this. Too many people buy random rubble just to be able to say they gave a gift. And especially for young children and families in need this is devastating. No one, even if they hide it, is happy about useless c**p. Then better give nothing. But useful and thoughtful doesn't necessarily mean it has to be expensive. And it is high time we stop being so materialistic to believe that it is neccessary and enough to gift random clutter instead of either putting in some thoughts and give something nice. It's the thought that counts, the thought you put in to make people happy. If you don't put in some thoughts, a 10k diamond ring can be useless rubble.

Don’t leave any previous gift tags on the item. You don’t want to leave any traces that show that this was a gift for you. This might make people feel like they're an afterthought. So, remove any labels that indicate that.

Do repackage it. This is your chance to give the item a new life, so spruce it up. And because you saved time and money by choosing to regift something, you can allow yourself to put in extra effort there. We all know that getting a gift that’s nicely packaged makes it just a little more magical, so go all out.

As an artist myself, bloody hell. 12$ is actually rlly cheap, considaring multiple factors. Good job on fellow artist sayin no.
All in all, do not lose the holiday spirit. Share love and gratitude with people you encounter and wish them well. And if you come across a choosy beggar, wish them happy holidays and move on. Their bitterness is their to deal with.

Free Christmas Gifts For Your Children And Free Money? Why Bother
This breaks my heart. Favorite Christmas was the year our shelter let us pick out two gifts for our moms. Free. I got her a blue sweater, and a pair of earrings. I don't even remember what she got me, because it was so nice to give for a chance. ( The dinner was horrible, but we were all in it together, and so grateful.)

This doesn't really belong here. They found out their stuff was damaged and are just looking to see if anyone has something similar to get rid of. It doesn't hurt to ask. If they start talking s**t to people offering things, that would be a different story.
Everytime I see the "you ruined my kids' Christmas!" messages, I just want to say good, I hate kids, bah humbug.
I'm glad I'm a grinch. I loathe Christmas and go all out creating a special time for my son. I make a note from Santa, we do reindeer food, bake cookies and leave out milk etc. Most of it costs time. The entitlement of these posts is beyond belief.
I enjoy mostly because of Christmas break from school.
Load More Replies...I made it to 19, but couldn't finish. All these people (ops I guess they're called), are POS, entitled and make me want to vomit and then swallow my own vomit. How can they really exist, then many of them procreate and their progeny grow up to become pos too.
Better than me I couldn't make it past 6 before I was disgusted at the ner5of some these entitled people.
Load More Replies...Christmas comes at the same time every year. If you want your kids to have a good Christmas, plan ahead! People not giving you free stuff didn’t ruin your kids’ Christmas, YOU did.
I had a bet with my partner that 70% would be single mom/ruined my kids xmas posts. I haven't crunched the numbers but I think I won! I know I’m getting old but isn’t Christmas meant to be more about time spent with friends and family, this list just shows up bad parenting and grifters chancing their arms. Stay humble people, no one’s gonna remember the stuff you possessed on their deathbed, you will remember the times you shared with your nearest and dearest
Why do so, SO many people have children they can't afford to take care of? Use birth control.
I guess we're going to see these every year around this time. Anyway, it is truly bizarre that people think this behaviour is normal...and is probably why they haven't amounted to anything in life and have earned enough money to buy what they want.
