One time my mom did everything that this dog owner is doing, and literally ran inside for 5 minutes to get something from a store, but this well-meaning lady called the cops and my mom spent a couple hours trying to explain that she left the ac on and food and water for the dog.

Me too, we were leaving an appointment and some doggo just ran right up to us to be petted. I had to sit down with him and pet!

Things become serious if your dog does not wear the collar at home but you put it onto him/her when guests come over.

Of course, every time you are going somewhere and you just "can't be late", you see a cute doggy and pet it for at least 20 minutes and then all the worries that you'll be late just go away:D
