Dog Takes Care Of Every Rescue Kitten In This Cat Shelter And Here Are 30 Pics To Show His Love Is Never-ending
Interview With OwnerCats and dogs have a reputation of not getting along. For some reason, they were meant to fight and not really like each other, but this sweet pupper proves otherwise. Raylan the dog has recently become viral because of a video of him taking care of tiny kittens. The video shows how sweet and comforting a relationship between a cat and a dog can be.
Raylan is a parent to a lot of foster cats, taking care of them and loving them until they find a forever home. The kittens either lost their moms or were thrown away by their owners. There are so many animals in the world that have the same faith. Luckily, there are dogs like Raylan and people like Raylan's owner to save the day and find the lost animals a good home.

Aww! I´m surprised that the cat puts up with it, though. My 1-year-old cat hisses whenever she sees dogs.
My smallest cat who is about 5 years old now absolutely loves dogs, the bigger the better. My much larger cat just goes and hides whenever a dog comes in the house. Besides, that is a kitten who is probably happy to have a warm place to sleep and a friend to sleep with.
Load More Replies..."Raylan's a very smart dog who is eager to please and up for any adventure." - The owner told Bored Panda. "I found out he liked cats when we brought our first foster kitten (Watson) home 6 years ago when Raylan was already 3 years old. He immediately just wanted to play with him and was so gentle and patient. Watson's now our neighbour and they hang out frequently."
O! M! G!~ IF YOU'RE TRYING TO MAKE MORE KITTENS, IT WON'T WORK THAT WAY. Ask your Mama to explain.
*Meeting of the Minds* 😉 .... I just... simply, unequivocally, absolutely Love this dog!❣️😁👍
Gotta learn how to give a proper headbutt to your hooman!
Raylan_the_dog has over 20k followers on Instagram. A lot of people enjoy the adorable content they post. "Raylan is a purebred mutt who enjoys getting beer for loved ones, road trips, and cuddling with his foster kittens"—that's what it says in Raylan's Instagram description. Obviously, he's a sweetheart. Raylans owner explained how they got him: "Raylan was adopted from a high-kill shelter where he was going to be euthanized. Nobody wanted him because he was too high energy and untrained - but clearly no one had tried to train him."
It's not "catbutt" anymore... it's true love!! Just don't FART right now.....
What a great animal. They have so much love to give. All the animals I have had in my 87 years have been rescues. I now have a small dog,Teddy, and 2 cats, Priscilla and Annabelle.
Raylan has taken care of over 60 kittens in his 9 years of life. That's a lot of children to have! The owner explained how Raylan takes care of the kittens: "He cleans them constantly (which is very very helpful when they're really young), as well as playing with them and carrying them around. He also stops them if they try to scratch the sofa."
when the guy in the movie is completely different but wants to be the same
The video that went viral features Raylan and two little kittens stumbling to him and then snuggling up to the pooch. The video itself has about 64k views. The comments are full of love and wishes for the cats to find a good home. The owner said: "I don't know how he hasn't gone viral before! We've been doing this for years and he's so amazing."
A gentle giant. I don't know if he came that way or if it is the result of never having been hurt but I would give anything to have a dog like that. I'm a cat person but we have also been looking for a dog that likes cats. It's so much harder than one would think.
We asked the owner to tell us how Raylan reacts when it's time for the kittens to leave: "He's usually ready for a rest when the kittens leave and never seems sad afterwards, but after a few weeks of alone time he starts to get sad if I don't get new kittens - and when new kittens come he's always so happy and excited. New kitten day is his favourite day!"
Wait....you don't smell like a cat. Are you sure that you are one?
The owner works with a lot of shelters, but mostly pays for the care of kittens out of her own pocket. Please consider helping shelters out with a donation! Maybe start fostering animals yourself?

I love his ever watchful eye, looks like he's thinking, "Hmm, you better be a good dude and know better than to disturb my sweet babies... 'Buddy!' just sayin' 😉🤗👍❣️
The cat has absolute trust in her doggie friend. So beautiful to see!
Awww! Love it.. keeping in touch with our *Toe Beans!!* .. lol! Yas! 😉😆
She is so loving and patient and the cats take to her! All of these pictures are heart warming!
Thank you for fostering black kittens/cats. They need so much love.
These little kittens have been here for less than 24 hours and already think that Raylan is their mother. They follow him around like little ducklings and SCREAM if he’s not paying attention to them. Raylan’s actually not fond of the screaming, but he loves keeping them clean and helping when they make a mess eating.
The kitty cries obviously kick Raylan's Daddy instincts into gear and he immediately greets them with a tender lick to let kitties know they're safe and protected. At the end, he looks up at his mom like he's saying "Am I doin good mommy?" You're doing VERY GOOD Raylan!!
That melted my heart into a puddle of goo. I love how newborn kittens waddle when they walk.
I"m cracking up laughing... the kitties should give their Mama Dog a nice warm bunch of LICKS!!! Priceless!
Why Mummy, what a big tongue you have. All the better for washing you with!
All of the photos are adorable, 2 and 5 are my favorites, animals are just the best things going, and this dog is very special, it just goes to show just how unique they are, they are here to teach us about acceptance and unconditional love.
My paretns in law had an English Mastiff and a black kitten...the kitten always slept on the back of the Mastiff and I think he believed to be a dog as well...
This is why I follow BP. If there ever was a good boi, this is the one right here. I loved these photos!
