The internet belongs to cats. That is the undeniable truth that is proven by millions upon millions of cat pictures, videos, memes, and gifs. And while some say that Instagram belongs to influencers of one type or another, we'd argue differently. The feline influence is taking over the social media site with cats taking up the roles of travelers and adventurers.
One of the kitties who's taking Instagram by storm is Chaco, a 3-year-old cat from Japan. His unique niche? Photos of various poses where he looks like he's dancing! From gracefully flying mid-air like a ballet dancer, to spinning on the ground like a true breakdancer, Chaco's arsenal of moves is one to be admired. And people do admire them as the kitty's Instagram page has over 20k followers.

"Wakaponsan" is an Instagram account that features beautiful and playful felines, the dancing boy Chaco and his "sister" Suzuka. Titled as "ninja cat", Chaco comes from "Animal Aid", a cat cafe in Ageo City where various rescue cats seek foster care. According to petomorrow, the owner adopted Chaco after spotting him in the cafe while donating food.

If Chaco isn't on the next season of Dancing with the Stars, I'm going to freak.
"I remember a sad expression," the owner told Bored Panda while recalling how he first met Chaco at the rescue cat cafe. He went on to describe that he noticed Chaco withdrawing from other cats and after observing the cat for a bit, decided that he's going to provide the animal with a new, warm home.
After coming to live with Suzuka, Chaco became much more active and kind. The owner revealed that Chaco is very well-behaved and always waits his turn. However, even if the kitty does something naughty, the owner reveals that you can't stay mad at him for too long. "You will not get angry if [he's] mischievous," he added.
As for how the family decided to take "dancing" photos of Chaco, the owner reveals that at first it was completely accidental. "When [Chaco] was playing with toys, he jumped very well, when I took a photo, I got a very interesting photo," the man revealed. "Funny pictures are not something you can aim for," he added.
The owner also revealed that he takes around a thousand photos of Chaco during one session. "The toys get bored quickly, so I use various new ones," he added. The man also explained that he usually hides the toy away with a cushion to create the perfect shot.

Scrolled past kinda fast, thought 'wow, cats pole dancing, now that's impressive'. Had to come back and see it was the side of a cabinet.

I don't think I like this. I think someone is dropping this cat and taking pictures of the landing. A video would prove me wrong.

I'd like to see a video too, yet there's a cat toy in many of the pictures. My own cat twists himself like that when he's playing, changing direction in the middle of a jump. And he can jump quite high, even though he's a heavy guy (I mean big, not fat).

Great camera work! Our cat does those same moves. Loves getting that feather! Can't believe how high he can jump :) I like the photos because they capture some amazing moves. The videos are cute but this rocks!!

Great photos. I struggle to get a photo of my cat standing, she either runs off or takes a nap.

You can clearly see the cat toys in some of the pictures that the owner is playing with. Cats normally move in all kinds of funky direction when chasing a toy on a string attached to a stick. Nothing special. I could replicate this with a fixed camera, my two cats and a toy.
