A while ago we established that cats are in fact liquids. But did you know that other animals can obtain a liquid form as well?
Bored Panda collected a list of melting animals, proving that different species just have different melting points. Some animals melt to disguise themselves, others melt involuntarily while sleeping and hamsters melt because you pet them.

Mostly true, but this looks like some species of Tawny owl, who also hunt in daylight. :) Nevertheless, I too am usually not so fond of restricting birds of prey, putting belts around their paws. The pics do remind me of a Cochin chicken I once had, who LOVED sitting and sleeping/relaxing on my lap in the sunlight. XD

And if you look to your left, you can see Mel, short for Melty. He melts at 32 degrees and above. Next to him is Solid. Sol for short. He is a special breed of cat that doesn't melt.

When I was a kid my mom bought a wood fireplace that was made for a place 3 times the size of ours. In the winter our cats would start to walk past and then just collapse into a puddle on the carpet. They'd roll over and back a few times before they'd drag themselves out of the radiative zone of the fireplace. It was hilariously cute.
