Goats are funny. Goats are cute. And we could end it here, but they’re literally the most adorable little thing on the planet, and we decided they deserve some more space on Bored Panda. This is the part of the article where we’re supposed to back our claim up with an explanation, some combination of goat physiology, psychology, and cuteness science that explains why they are so endearing. But we won’t. We just find them cute, and we assume you do too, or you wouldn’t have clicked on this article.
They’re not only one of the cleanest animals but are also very intelligent, social, and curious. Have you ever seen them wandering around and exploring any unfamiliar thing they see? Priceless. Lately, goats are getting more recognition thanks to social media. That famous video of baby goats jumping around and annoying each other to no end is still one of our favorite things on the internet. When I was a baby teacher at a daycare (and yes there is a very strict curriculum filled with enrichment centered lesson plans for infants). EVERY morning she came dressed in a duck costume like this. Without fail. Mama always brought day clothes that we would change her into after snack time. But as far as getting out of the house, she would lose her baby mind if she wasn't brought into school wearing this costume. After she had her breakfast, she would allow us to change her into regular clothes.

Pet wheelchairs are getting more accessible than ever. There are tons of different designs for free on 3D printing sites, and there are plans for ones you can make out of other supplies. Makes me glad that so many people want to make them for the disabled animals in their lives.

Went from city life (NYC) to rural agro life. We now have four boar goats and for a while had to hand rear a baby (Stormy) after his sister was accidentally crushes by another goat (yes we cried). For a few months it was sit on a bucket and lap feed her by hand. As time passed and she got bigger … well … YOU try explaining to a goat she’s just too big for a lap. (All of our goats were born during storms of one kind or another). And they are all spoiled. (All this started with a phrase we’ve all heard. “I promise I will take care it it”. ).

Don’t be worried. A good shelter should do the trick (and even we worry about the weather but they are great furry weather detectors). Just be careful. They “jellybean” wherever they please and their paws aren’t exactly comfy.
