Brilliant Design For Kids That Need Their Privacy But There's Only One Bedroom
As someone who shared a room my entire childhood, this looks really nice. :)
The privacy despite being one room - wonderful.
Load More Replies...The other advantage is that it gives much extra wall-space, as kids want to ruin this design with their various fling-of-the-week posters and memorabilia and knick-knacks.
The top bunk has no apparent guard rail. although one could be added. My oldest daughter fell from a top bunk when I was young and stupid - broke her spleen and after surgery had to live with a massive scar. This was 30+ years ago and the doctor opened her from breastbone to pelvis.
I would worry about falling off the top. It needs a rail. Looks great though, nice overall design.
Bored Panda spoke to three certified tidying experts who follow in the footsteps of the renowned organizing guru Marie Kondo. The mantra for putting things in order like a pro sounds simple—things should spark joy and if they don’t, you’re better off without them. Helen Youn, a platinum level KonMari consultant, explains “the first step to start is to think about why you want to tidy and the life that will bring you the most joy. Often when people decide it’s time to change, they just want to have an organized and clutter-free space, but you need to also think about how that will actually impact your life, but you need to also think about how that will actually impact your life—would you read more as a result? Entertain more? Start working out? Think about all the things you enjoy doing that bring you joy. By choosing to keep only the things that bring you joy, you will create a home that supports your ideal life.”
A Slide-Out Pantry In 6 Inches Of Space
University Library Has A Wall Where You Can Quite Literally Take A Seat
We have the same thing in our library, but the wall spaces are much larger. That way the kids can actually climb in the wall and cuddle up with a book!
it'd be even better with sewn-on handles from the same material. or have them poke out a bit more.
Space Saving
Just watched the Raven last night..... You mental oyster!!! 😂
Load More Replies...Depends on a guest. The middle picture/option is also good for that :D
I watched the video on this, years ago, it's truly amazing. The whole portable home has so many secrets and amazing space saving ideas. Those sliding doors on the left also turn into a desk, everything is so smart. Found it https://youtu.be/lHjJd4tkvSU
These mini houses are in demand. Great ideas, talking about multipurpose.
Load More Replies...For the guest, I hope that you either throw a fitted sheet over those sections, or they’re secured together somehow. Otherwise whoever’s sleeping there will end up on the floor when the sections inevitably separate.
Stair Drawers
You will step through it in the dead of night, breaking ankles and drawers alike. Then you will lie there, in the dark and in pain waiting for someone to rescue you. ... Wow, that got dark fast....
Load More Replies...Cool idea in theory, but I can think of a lot of problems in practice that would need to be straightened out first.
Normally the space under the stairs isn't wasted, it's used as some type of storage space.
Just nope. All the dust bunnies that would end up collecting in those drawers every time one sweeps the steps. Having to bend over and kneel on the steps to pull out what you need. Having to remember what is stored in each step. The small amount of storage space for reach drawer compared to the difficulty of accessing it. There cost off installing such a system. The opportunity for yookai to take up residence and terrorize you daily as you go up and down the steps. No thanks.
Elevate The Bed In Small Spaces To Create Storage Underneath
I've been doing this since forever. Some sheets of MDF or 3/4inch ply, cut to size in BigBoxStore and you're done. If you go fancy, build to IKEA dimensions and put in their drawers, otherwise simple rolling boxes or self-made drawers.
Load More Replies...I have a Captain's platform under my bed, gives me 6 drawers of storage & no dust under my bed to drive my allergies crazy! Win-win!!
When You Want To Maximize The Space Under The Stairs
Is that a shower under the staircase? In an open room with wood floors?
Isn't this minimizing the space under the stairs? Maximizing would be making the space bigger?
Maximizing the usefulness of the space under the stairs.
Load More Replies...Reality doesn’t always meet expectations, especially when it comes to cleaning on a tight budget. Lifestyle consultant Amanda Scanlan from Home Nurturing assures readers that “tidying doesn’t need to be an expensive undertaking. Use what you already have to organise your belongings. Shoe boxes or any media boxes from laptops, tablets or phones that you may have lying around are ideal for keeping like items together. For the kitchen, large glass jars or bottles can be reused and work really well for storing food, just remove the labels to reduce the visual clutter. Old or odd Tupperware containers that no longer 'spark joy' are also useful for keeping like items together.”
Washer-Dryer Inside A Closet
An added benefit is the noise reduction when the doors are closed, if you build it with the right materials.
What about the moisture? What about the possibility of spilling? Everything around is wood. So much can go wrong here.
In my case, the W/D is on a "spill tray with drain" so if something goes wrong, it'll catch the water and drain away.
Load More Replies...This is nice but you first need to have the space behind the wall to create this.
I'm sure they'll regret this when they get their first washing machine overflow.
Wouldn't heat and steam and humidity from the machines warp the wood?
My washer dryer is one machine - takes up even less space. I don't use the dryer very often but knowing it's there for emergencies is great.
This IS very nice, but as someone who has lived in too many apartments with too little storage space, I'd rather just have the washer & dryer freestanding so that I can utilise the closet for storing extra bedding, out-of-season clothing, hobby supplies ect.
Extra Storage Hidden In These Kitchen Benches
UNcomfortable. Great for your nosy neighbour who invited themself in for coffee, there's no way they are going to stay long. Do say "Make yourself comfortable, dear", with your very sweetest smile...
Yeah, cushions would be a good idea. They can still be taken up when you see nosy neighbor coming down the path. And the storage could lock too.
Load More Replies...Well, duh. Who builds a breakfast nook with benches that DON'T have storage?
Good idea, but the bench seats look so uncomfortable, and the décor looks like it's from the 1970s! ;-)
No Place For A Bedside Table? No Problem
We all know we would still keep knocking thing on the floor for some unknown reason
Load More Replies...This is an old idea. A friend of mine had one lie that on her bed made for her by her mother back in the early 80s.
Does anyone REALLY need this much c**p at their fingertips in their bedroom? I mean - if you're home in bed with the flu, I guess.
And now, we’re asking for a friend: it seems like everyone around me is having domestic makeovers except me. Why is that? Amanda Scanlan confirms it’s not all in your head: “I definitely think that more and more people are willing to make changes when it comes to tidiness. We have a greater understanding of health and wellbeing and the simple life choices we can make to improve it and reduce stress. Such as eating well, exercising more, spending time with loved ones, doing activities that we enjoy and find meaningful, and cultivating more positive feelings like joy and gratitude, etc. Moreover, we are getting better at understanding environmental issues and the impact that our daily choices can have towards this.”
That's Some Neat Space Saving Design
I'm pretty sure I've seen this on Bored Panda in a list that was titled "the worst designs in the history" or something similar.
it was and it was in that article bc of the pity for their waiters and waitresses
Load More Replies...How would you get the food and drinks up to the higher tables without spilling anything?
I would hate to be sitting in a lower berth when someone spills their drink!
This is a good idea, though maybe some hand rails would make it a little safer
There's a handrail! But I've seen this before and someone mentioned this would be hell on the waiters.
Load More Replies...Playroom, Bedroom And A Closet Perfectly Fit In This Small Room
Very efficient. Looks so stark for a child's room, though. No fun wall decor, stuffed animals, toy boxes or, well...anything?? My daughter's room is so colorful and lively, this would depress us.
I used to sleep in a large closet when I went over to my grandparent's house. Don't get me wrong here! It was very spacious. My grandmother hung some pretty purple curtain sup as a canopy and I had my very own twin bed. I had my clothes neatly hung up on the racks and I had toys on the shelf. It was a small space but we made do!
There should be a handrail at the wall for safety next to the vertical 'ladder'. I would love a thick climbing rope with big knots on it hanging from the ceiling and a very big floor cushion.
Not sure I’d want a child that young sleeping there. Maybe teenagers.
not to recommended when sickness with vomiting is involved.... speaking from experience
Space Saving
Right? I saw this and was like "Damn I want this room!"
Load More Replies...Is it just me or does it seem like that top part needs a beam supporting it a little?
There is a metal pole supporting it from the ceiling.
Load More Replies...This person does not own cats. If they did, those plants would not still be on the second level.
In fact, “having a tidy home can unlock more time, energy, mental clarity and more, and I believe it is a really effective tool to reset your life and start living life how we want to in a way that is in alignment with our own values.” Trust us, your general practitioner would approve.
When You Need That Extra Bed
When I need that “extra bed,” I just tell the uninvited guest to go get a hotel room.
I'm trying to understand why someone would downvote that?!?! Unless they have never heard the term Murphy bed? I had one in an old apartment as a kid, loved it until it attacked me in front of my gf. My right eyebrow still won't lift up.
Load More Replies...Neat one.. but i have checked that such custom-build furniture is worth more then making a real room in my place..
And if that guest snores in their sleep, that cabinet with its collared deep frame and backplane becomes an acoustic amplifying megaphone! I am so delighted by all of the Pandas like you who take the time to think through some of the design tradeoffs in this post, both clever and hastily ill-conceived.
Load More Replies...All that "white" makes me want to puke on it.... I like COLOR!!! Ohhh Yeaahhhh!!
Um, yeah - it's called a "Murphy Bed" and they've been around for about 120 years.
A Play Room That Fits Under The Bed
This doesn't look that handy, why not just let your kid play on the floor, you clearly have space for it
Because you can shove it underneath the bed and make it look Konmari like crazy! And all that without the endless discussion on who knocked over what if you only think about vacuuming in their rooms.
Load More Replies...Sooo... my boys rooms NEVER looked this plain and clean, still don't. It's weird to me to see this photo...
Great idea! The train set is already set-up and ready to go and doesn't have to dissembled after use. You can see it pulls out further to make it more comfortable and of course sitting on a pillow would make it super comfy.
That's just stupid. He obviously has enough room to play on the floor. Put in a trundle bed so he can have sleepovers.
my brother used to have a play set train track like that we had to sell it when we moved though. It was really fun to play with
West Elm Industrial Storage Coffee Table
Yeah, nice, 465 euro. If you can afford that, you don't need this for the space it provides in your small home.
Being able to afford an expensive table does not mean you can afford a large space...
Load More Replies...Used to deliver similar models in the way back. They're neat alright, until you don't do upkeep & they either freeze up, or won't stay up.
Not sure how much more space saving this is compared to an open shelf underneath.
Space Saving
These loft beds are all great in theory but unless you have high ceilings it feels cramped
Handlebars That Flip Sideways To Save Space
If you loosen screw from the side of handlebars neck....I mean, every handlebars can flip sideways.
I can see a very bad biking accident in the future of the person who doesn't screw those handles back into position tightly enough...
Are we...people, there is a nut at the base of the handle bars that you can loosen said handlebars.
Flipping pedals are standard on folding bikes, you can get those easily. But you can now also cycle one-handedly with the handlebars folded... hm...
Load More Replies...Surely you are not so shallow as to assume that someone who rides a bicycle is poor? This could easily be a $500k condo in downtown Tokyo or Manhattan.
Load More Replies...Triple Bunk Beds Done Right
I wouldn’t want to be Zoey, that’s a headache waiting to happen. Would have been better if they made it so her head was at the other end.
Another little rail like the one on the side would make a perfect headboard.
Load More Replies...Who gets to change the sheets on the top bunk? Not me, and damn awkward for a kid.
The Inception Bed For When Kids Have A Sleepover
I wish MY room was this awesome and colorful! I'd proably roll down all the beds while sleeping tho... lol
My cousin had a double trundle bed when we were in our teens 20-30 years ago. This is not new.
But what if the kids in the beds close to the wall have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night?
Built In Wardrobe And A Cozy Bed Fits Everything In One Wall
I like it. As the step-brothers would say, so much room for activities!!
I have a really old design book from the early 80's- it has a room nearly identical to this one. It was very modern at the time.
Staircase Cupboard
I don't care one bit about the cupboard but I need that stair railing in my life. What does that say about me?
That practicallity is great but bring on the arty stuff??
Load More Replies...The tree banister is awesome, but I can imagine the trouble a little kid could get into with that!
That railing / tree / sculpture is multiple stab wounds waiting to happen on the first fall...
Especially when someone trips over the items that have been carelessly placed on the stair steps, in spite of the extra cupboard storage area.
Load More Replies...Kitchen Utensils Board
I'm intrigued by the cats on the chalkboard door! If they're on the door, there must be some alive ones that I could see! And virtually pet...
Load More Replies...And dust. Do all of these people with open storage enjoy constantly cleaning? Or make enough $$ for live in help?
Load More Replies...I did this in my kitchen when we renovated and I lost 1/2 my kitchen to a new full bath and mud room area I love it
Hell no, this looks so messy and you have to dust it every day. A lot of extra work.
Headboard With Shelves
I don't see this one as space saving. Adding 6 or 8 inches to the length of the bed is a lot of lost floor space for just a few paperbacks.
Considering the fact that they already make bookshelf headboards where you don’t have to blindly reach around your head at a weird angle to get your book.
Load More Replies...Dude! Have you seen the-"I made a pallet outta this table" meme?! Hilarious!{)
Load More Replies...This might just work for folks like us who have a boxed-in pipe running along the wall at the head of the bed. Usually pillows just fall back there.
Floating Corner Shelves Help Use Up Every Corner In A Small Space
I was thinking that too. Whilst I understand that we all have different taste and different needs, there seems to be way to many comments just being randomly negative. Hope
Load More Replies...Some of us either have grown up- kids or choose to be childless. I'm the grown up kids type.
Load More Replies...This Space Saving Table Takes The Murphy Style Decor To Whole New Level
I don’t get it. So when you’re done with your tea or meal and you fold it back up, you then utilize that floor space for what? Walking around?
Well, yes. If the apartment is small, floor space is important. We also have a folding table we put away when it's not in use.

Don't buy this at ikea tho... Had one of those for my uniforms at work, the thing just ripped.
I have an Ikea one as well. It works for clothes and shoes, but I'm not sure it would hold on with heavy game boxes in it

A lot of these are clever and creative. Some aren't suitable for earthquake areas, though.
Use Picture Ledges For A Miniature Vanity 'Table'
I guess it depends on personal style. Some people don't mind having their stuff put out especially since some of that makeup does tend to have pretty packaging :)

They are walking on a marketing manager's wet dream.
Load More Replies...This is only for sky-high heels or boots, for any other kind of shoes it is a space waster. And it is also ugly as sin, I do not want my shoes in an open display unit.

Hang Shelves Over The Door For Extra Space
Mmm, now where to store the ladder so you can reach them!?
Load More Replies...I NEED my books close to me! I do like the idea for other things, like Lego's!!
Had this in a kitchen once, made the mistake of storing spice bottles on it. Could just reach them. Was fine until one day I dropped one on my head.
Genius Headboard Drawer
Which only works if you have the space to open the freaking drawers - in which case you have enough room for nightstands. What a b******t concept.
Towel Racks On The Door
Until one day you accidentally open the door a little too forcefully and puncture holes into your wall.
There is a doorstop at the top. It sticks out farther than the racks, so that should not be happening.
Load More Replies...Just do not hang a bath towel back on this to dry. The door will eventually be destroyed.
You would definitely need to add some sort of door stopper that would keep the racks from hitting.
Load More Replies...Unless that door is right next to the tub, that's a total waste of money and time. I have an "over the door towel rack" and I gave up on it after dripping across the bathroom a few times to get to my towels.
I made something similar to this with some rustic rope and poles to create a frame which is hung on the door frame and the towels hang over the poles. It's great and really saves space in my tiny bathroom. Healthier too as the towels aren't bunched up so dry quickly between people washing their hands
what are all your walls made of? I mean i can see paint scratches but a hole in the wall...must be a lot of force
Shelf That Works As A Small Computer Table
But hardly new, been around since the 50th at the very least.
Load More Replies...Wouldn’t work for me. I tend to lean on my desk when researching and thinking, so would probably end up either breaking the desktop hinge or pulling the whole thing off the wall.
this should have legs, if you press a little in that table all come down
Home Office In A Closet, Before And After
I need storage a lot more than I need a hidden desk. And I need breathing space and a view around my desk. This is the opposite of ergonomic work space.
I wouldn't be comfortable with my back to the room so it would stay a regular closet.
Ditch The Huge Ironing Board With This Portable Ironing Mat Blanket
Now you need a huge table, which takes up a whole lot more space then a foldable ironing board (they aren't huge at all?!).
Also it's not really functional. How do you iron shirts neatly with this thing? The narrow tip of an ironing board is kind of important.
Load More Replies...Ditch the iron, get a handheld steamer. Put it on the closet shelf. Boom.
I'd rather have the large table. It would be a sewing area, an art table, a craft, table , a folding laundry table, a place to eat with friends table, and a cleaned off table when the mood strikes.
It can be useful as an additional tool when you need to iron something really quick, but not as a replacement of ironing board. Besides, why are they ironing towels? People do that?
Bunk Beds Built Inside A Closet
Is it bothering anyone else where the door handles are placed? All my closets have the handles near the edge of the door.
Cupboard/alcove beds are not a new thing... in my country they're called a 'bedstee' (translates as 'bedstead', perhaps?) and are often found in old farmhouses. Ouderwetse...5d9c94.jpg
True. It looks like they've just put these doors in front of the beds for no good reason.
Load More Replies...Apparently people are coming back to the old. I used to see them in museums and feel claustrophobic.
When the children have been bad, but you don't want CPS to catch on...."But they said they wanted bunk beds..." Now if your a kid that's afraid of monsters in the closet..how much will this "space saver" cost you in therapy later down the road?
I think this is adorable. Great for two small kids who get along well! (And like small spaces just fine.)
How To Store The Extra Seats In A Small Living Rooms
This only works if your room is designed like this. Chairs and stools can weirdly fir under tables, too.
Bookcase Staircase
Lol same. My klutzy a*s would end up killing me with that thing
Load More Replies...Mine does too - stripes like this always give me a headache.
Load More Replies...I would definitely love this. I would take forever getting down the stairs because I would be remembering the good books I have read.
I’m dizzy just thinking about negotiating my way down those stairs. Probably to my death.
I like the books on the sides... not so much under the steps. Also looks cluttered.
Multi Functional Wall Bed Turns Any Room Into A Bedroom
Install An Over-The-Toilet Rack For Stacking Up Toiletries
If you knew how far poop and pee spray travels (the ceiling) EVEN when you have been sat on the toilet, plus allowing for the heathens who don't shut the lid when flushing, I wound never stack anything over the toilet. I don't even keep my toothbrush in the bathroom for this reason.
Or get a more compact setup with some nice shelves on top. This just screams ate about how much grime will stick on everything.
Plus you have to be sure people will close the lid e-ve-ry time. Because diffusion is a thing, a very dirty thing.
Load More Replies...I have this and I love it. I keep most things in closed containers and wipe everything every day. Since I already wipe everything down everyday, it's not much extra work at all, and the extra storage is so handy and the decorative items add a nice touch. I can't imagine how I loved without it since there is no counter space and only a very shallow medicine cabinet!
Oh yay! Look at those beautiful white towels you are going to have to throw away after one of your guests has explosive diarrhea, panicks, knocks everything in the commode, clogs it, and is to embarrassed to tell you.
I wouldn't feel comfortable doing ..umm.. my business with all that stuff above my head...
I have one of these but use little baskets on the shelves, it's not very stable so loose items would definitely be an issue!!
Load More Replies...Use The Vertical Space To Double The Room
Imagine being on the far side of the bed, needing to pee in the middle of the night and crawling over your partner and kneeing them in the privates. Good times!
Nope. I wouldn't like to sleep in the middle of the open space, and stairs does not look very safe. Imagine walking down, still half asleep.
Makes me remember the Kansas City skywalk disaster of 1981 - not a good memory!
Just imagine trying to change the sheets on that bed! No hospital corners up there!
Mason Jar Bathroom Organization

Oh, you'd like a cold drink? Here...just let me get down on my hands and knees onto what I can only hope is a clean floor, lift up this semi-heavy panel, hope no dust or crumbs from the floor drop in, and get you a soda! It'll only take 10 minutes or so. Oh - you'll just run to the corner store instead? Okay, now that I think of it, that might be faster...
It's miscaptioned. It's not a cooler, it's just a storage box.

what you can't see in this pic is that the front of this thingy is a mirror. it is sold by ikea...

Bathtub With Drawers
I’m having trouble picturing the plumbing layout for the drain and drum trap, unless that first drawer is only a few inches deep.
I think it's above the drawer, than routed to the side. So recipe for disaster if you ask me. Plus it makes for a really high side to climb over. I think there are several good reasons this is not a thing.
Load More Replies...A wooden bathtub with wooden drawers under it??? No thanks! I do not need an idiotic unusable bathtub as decoration. This is in no way space-saving. It is space-wasting since it is not meant to be used. There is probably a double shower in this bathroom.
Use Picture Ledges To Display All Your Kids Books
My 3 boys had so many books and Beanie babies at one point that I put them allon bookshelves and made them fake "Library cards" which applied to the books and thr Beanie Babies. They could only take out 3 at a time and had to "sign" them out on a clipboard. This was fun for them, they couldn't even write their names yet but they had fun trying, they actually liked the system more than I thought they would. And belie it or not, it worked! No more finding animals and books all over the floor.
Load More Replies...A friend of mine has this in the kids room, books on the floor, all the time. The only reason I know what it was used for is that I saw her put some away ONCE.
Book tend to often fall if you not put it is a correct edge and good position. This will make all your valuable book damage in no time.
Corner Shelving Saves Space And Looks Cool
It's all fun & games until someone runs around the corner & cracks their head open.
I want to play Scrabble but I'm too short to reach it! Also, there's a skull on top...
It doesn't look cool that you have to place the books weirdly so they'll fit on.
My Awesome Husband Hung This Up For Me Tonight!
I used think this was a clever idea until I was cooking at a friends place with a set up like that. The clean pots ended up getting greasy etc so that idea went out the window. I certainly don’t want extra dishes to do.
You could hang the pots somewhere else away from the stove maybe? My aunt has a similar system but her pots aren't directly above the stove.
Load More Replies...Grease catches fire over flames . No flames? Then just put on on the hot burner after you have cooked a few times.

Convert The Area Under Your Stairs
Great Way To Organize Your Wrapping Paper And Get More Storage Is To Hang It Inside Your Doors

Nope not with my OCD, PTSD , KIDS, BAD BACK and ADDMOSTYANERVESWRECK.

I love this. However the very top edge needed a bit more creative flourish.
Folding Table That Doubles As An Art Piece
Organize Your Veggies Vertically Instead Of Horizontaly To Save Space In The Pantry
You should NEVER store your onions with or close to your potatoes. Not only to the ethylene gasses from the onions cause the potatoes to sprout, the combined moisture from both will result in a fetid soggy rotten mess of both.
Dumb idea. This is FILO Storage (first in, last out), which means that the oldest veggies accumulate at the bottom and you will just have to empty it out frequently to prevent things from rotting. That is why the fridge has flat drawers or bins for rapid access to this sort of thing.
This seems to be a first-in/last-out system (the oldest tomato is at the bottom). Not a good way to manage perishables.
Wouldn’t the metal be a bit hard on soft fruit/vegetables like tomatoes? Plus, being that deep means having to empty the whole thing out to get to what’s on the bottom before it rots.
Couldn't we raise our bathtub up a few feet, and add some "under-tub" storage for our vegetables? Labelled of course!
Place Wire Baskets Over The Counters For Extra Storage
Or you could just pkace it on the counter. The space is lost one way, or the other
This railing is too low to be space-saving, so at this point it's just for the aesthetic. I have a kitchen railing with baskets, but they sit much higher, allowing me to fit stuff underneath.
It's cute. Wish my kitchen counters looked this nice and organized.. /:
In this case why use hanging shelves? Why not utilize those picture shelves that are small and flat. It would look much neater and you could use the space underneath.

Fold Out Table That Has Storage Inside And A Blackboard Outside
A Sink Over The Toilet Saves Space And Water
This is in a lot of green homes because they water you use to wash your hands gets recycled into the tank for the toilet to be used during the next flush.
Don't mind me, I'm just washing my face while you're taking a dump :D
These are usually used in microscopic bathrooms and those tiny closets, not as in the larger room photographed!
Nicely Planned Studio Fits It All
I'd always feel nervous that the bed would fall off if I was on that side.
And yet another high bed without a railing. I don't care how young and agile you are you will turn over in your sleep. Either that - or slip on the 'steps' with no hand rail, hurt yourself badly, but only once.
This Small Table Can Fit 14 Pairs Of Shoes
define small, and define table. It certainly takes up a little floor space, but it's what I am worried about is the height.
Store Things In Your Stairs
Ha! Imagine telling guests that it's the only toilet you have.

Bed Inside A Drawer
There is another bedroom on the other side and one night the person in the first room sleeps in the bed and the second night, sleeps on the floor. Same thing for the person in the other room. Basically, you don't spare space but furniture ^^

Where tf does the bed go? the shelf is clearly not that thick....
How utterly bizarre! It's like they designed the house to really screw up the space available.
Open-And-Close Barbecue Perfect For A Small Backyard
That is a small backyard? Ours can fit in at least 5 times in just the part in this picture!
No, you don't get it. It's a so called foldable lawn that fits inside a shoebox. Same with the pool. You drain a few thousand liters of water and you put it away in your garden closet. Filling it up does take some time after set up.
Load More Replies..."Small backyard" Yeah right. That's not a small backyard. That's a f*****g MASSIVE backyard.
If I would have a small backyard, I would probably own some kind of tabletop bbq...
Would anyone want a super hot grill attached to the side of the house? Hello? Anyone? 🚒
Small backyard for who?! A rich person? You can fit a full size barbecue in that.
Turn Your Door Into A Shelf Using Wire Baskets
If they made that a tall cabinet I would like it better. Poor wall behind the door.

Stay Elegant With This Minimalistic, Fold-Out Dining Table
That needs so much space though! I'd have to move my couch outside to use this.
Small Home Office Idea
this person doesn't work at this 'work desk' - if this were to be functional there would be more space to type, more plugs to charge stuff , the chair would have to be more comfortable, some stationery and there would be a coffee/tea mug - any hard working person would know this !
Over Door Closet
How annoying to have to climb up there at 6 am on a workday. It would look awful if my stuff hung up there.
That looks really ugly to me and currently everything is away neatly picture perfect not used at all 😒
Yeah, just what I want to do...climb a ladder in the morning to retrieve my clothing.
And if you put the wheels inside the ladder, that is and extra 15 inches

A Miniature Wall Bar That Fits Into Any Space
Ugly. Work on the aesthetics...as is, it looks like a badly refurbished animal trap..
Very practical for a small kitchen too! Nice modern industrial look 😊
Under The Bed Storage Fits Seasonal Clothes And More
What if you need something and your SO is still asleep? Drawers are a better choice.
Then don't store things in there that get used often. Sheets, pillow cases, extra blankets would be a better idea over clothes.

No Vanity, No Problem
It's great when the toilet is always in the way. Also, doesn't she realise that the Dream thing is the wrong way around? :D

I feel like most of these are rich people solutions that I at least couldn't afford. Would be cool to see a list of affordable ways to save space!
A lot of this stuff is sold at Walmart or whatever local store that sells cheap , poor quality stuff. Scraps from construction sites and local dump are free ways to get materials,
Load More Replies...A few of these are practical but most seem to be " look at me" projects that trade one problem for another. I'd like to see a follow up in 2 or 3 years to see how many are still being used.
All I can think of is the nightmare of cleaning all these "solutions"

Yey for consumerism. Now you have more space to shove the c**p you don't need but you buy anyway because of some goddamned list or an influencer of some kind told you it's useful.
