Here’s How Employees From Different Industries Decorated Their Workplaces With Very Fitting Christmas Trees (30 Pics)
Are fairy lights and dangling ornaments a breakable objects hazard? Do your coworkers not want to spend January picking pine needles out of the lobby?
There are plenty of reasons not to have a traditional Christmas tree at work, but if you’re missing Christmas decorations, you might be able to convince your colleagues to put up some last-minute cheer with these clever ideas that will make a fun team-building exercise, show what you're about and make anyone who walks in smile. Here are some pictures of creative and fitting trees that people made at work with whatever they could get their hands on.
You could also recreate some of these ideas at home if you skipped getting a tree this year and you have a well-stocked bookshelf or office. These people show that you can turn just about anything into a Christmas tree!

Made Our Own Christmas Tree Where We Are Deployed
Another reason why more people each year hesitate to get a Christmas tree is the perceived impact on nature. Most people are unsure whether the greener choice is a real tree, or an artificial one that saves another tree from being cut down.
It turns out that environmental organizations don't recommend contributing to the manufacturing and shipping of plastic products by getting an artificial tree. (Of course, if you already have an artificial tree, you should make the most of it and use it for at least 10 years.)

Real trees provide all the oxygen-producing benefits of any tree while they are being grown, and can be disposed of by composting, so they are actually recommended over artificial trees.
But if you still can’t stand the thought of cutting one down as a decoration, and you're not prepared to maintain a potted tree, assembling a creative “tree” out of whatever you have lying around might be the solution you’re looking for. Try using things that you already have a lot of, and preferably that you can use again for their intended purpose after you disassemble the tree.

Load More Replies...Are we just going to act like that knife at the bottom of the tree doesn't have blood on it?
Right?? How is it not evidence in a police investigation?
Load More Replies...Once I was at an airport and asked one of the security guys what was the weirdest thing someone had tried to sneak in. I don't know what I was expecting... but he told me with a straight face that someone tried to sneak in a LIVE RABBIT ONTO A PLANE. Don't worry, the rabbit was fine. Just think for a minute here. Someone had to grab a rabbit, shove that little hecker into the suitcase, bring it in a car (and probably a shuttle) and stay in the airport for at least 30 minutes before getting caught. I wonder what the protocol is for that kind of situation.
Yeah, my sister is going back to New York after winter break and she has to bring a beta fish on a plane... I don't know how that's going to end...
Load More Replies...not amused.. reminds me of all the harmless liquids and food unnecessarily confiscated by airport security over the years..
Did someone try to smuggle 300 scissors or all these just painted? Lol
@Aunt Messy, I never even noticed that BRIGHT PINK shovel, as I was too busy looking at all those GREEN scissors!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
They are painted, you can see how some are a bit splotchy
Load More Replies...The TSA allows scissors with up to a 4 inch blade, so technically all these are okay to go through security.
WHERE are my fingernail clippers they took? I never realized they were such vicious weapons!
Very good, I wondered what is done with all items confiscated !!!
No one's going to mention that all the items are way to large to be real!? Plus, they wouldn't display a tree or real weapons in an airport. I think it's more of the idea of it...
A knife I can see, but how much damage can you do with a potato peeler?
You'd be surprised. Those things are *sharp*. My question is more --*Why?*
Load More Replies...What the heck are those things on top? Letter openers? Cake cutters? Palm shivs?
I think they were dyed after they took them.

Last year in our Cardiology clinic we had a Christmas tree with gloves, disinfectant wipes containers, masks, and tissues. Our COVID tree!
My office had a beat-up artificial tree of uncertain origin. (The decorations were equally battered...) We put it up every year. One year, the head office demanded we take it down "because Christmas was over." Now, in most years it would have been down in another week, when we got caught up after the post-Christmas rush, but they annoyed up. So it got redecorated--New Years, President's Day, Easter, St. Patrick's, Flag Day, etc. They threw a fit after 4th of July. (We made our point. They never complained about the Christmas decorations again. In return, we took it down mid-January.)
