Making something with your hands can be extremely therapeutic. Whether it’s knitting, pottery, woodworking, or painting, it helps to release suppressed emotions and shift one’s focus from stressors and worries. Not to mention the sense of accomplishment and pride one feels when they have a finished project to show for it.
