My friend's 1st born was girl. Her boyfriend was so mad about it. And when my friend was pregnant for 2nd time she told me she is scared if it's a girl again. Because her boyfriend was neglecting their 1st born cuz she was a girl. When friend told ne about that (she was hiding it before) I got all my rage out on her boyfriend. I was yelling at him in the middle of the road. That whatever the gender of the baby, it's HIS fault. And he shouls only be ignorant and neglegent towards himself and take proper care of his family. 2nd born was a boy. But that guy still decided to give up parenting rights and my friend is happier now.

In my country (EU country) stores after working hours (especially before they close for weekend or holidays) prepare all leftover food - that can't wait few days (baked goods, dairy products before expiration, sliced salami or cheese) and they have special companies pick the food up and give it to people that can not afford to buy them.
