We are living in crazy times, and every day, it only seems to get crazier. Like many people, around March of 2020, I found myself facing a myriad of anxiety-inducing situations. Besides a deadly pandemic, a stay-at-home order, and a lack of toilet paper, my work had informed me that I was going to be laid off soon and I was also now in charge of homeschooling my nine-year-old son. To make matters worse, social distancing regulations had now cut me off from the majority of my coping mechanisms. As far as I could see, my options were either to drink away my problems or draw them. For better or worse, I chose to put pen to paper.
From my anxieties sprung forth a series of one-panel comics that found humor in all of the insanity surrounding me. The main character is Grim, a cute grim reaper who is simply trying to deal with the pandemic, natural disasters, and cultural clashes of our modern-day apocalypse. Logically, I named the series Grim Days and started sharing it with friends and family on Facebook. Now Grim's adventures are available for everyone to follow. Check out the links below!

No worries, Grimmy! We’re not judging anyone who’s wearing pajamas all day anymore, because we ALL are—-we just throw a suit jacket on over them for Zoom meetings. There are two kinds of people working from home right now: those who are working in their jammies or sweats (next door to pajamas), and liars.
you know who I feel bad for? all those people that were low on TP when that happened because, you know, they were just low..., and ran out of TP because they couldn't get some in time.
* Raises her hand* Thank you. Luckily we are not too silly, and just used tissues.
Load More Replies...Try saying it as a positive, not a "not" statement. so instead say " I am keeping my hands away from my face". Also try holding something, worry beads, knitting , a magazine, whatever feels appropriate. Some have found success with wearing a rubber band / hair band on both wrists and training themselves to fiddle with that instead.
I bought a bunch of Rainbow stuff last year so that I was prepared this year, plus it's my favorite color. My Pride outfit will have to wait until next year at least I hope.
Betty White is older than queen elizabeth tho

I'm *great* at zoom. step one: turn off the f'n camera. step two. turn off the mic. Step three. turn off the speakers. It was a pointless meeting, anyway.

Oddly I can make a better tasting cup of coffee using instant. Starbucks sucks.
I always wear my mask. The anti-maskers are not just ignorant, they are selfish. And infantile.
so does that mean that I am that way? or all of the other country folk. well if you weren't a cityiot, then you would understand. so curse you Freya the wanderer
ROFL. Would Grouchy Neighbor be happier if Grim was wearing a CGI cat costume?
Okay, I'm one of those who thought it would be hillarious to have that song as my ringtone during all of this. Then, one day, a colleague had a real meltdown ala "We're all going to die" and as I was trying to talk her down, my phone rang...
That’s so funny and also terrible but I’m laughing anyway
Load More Replies...lets see... thanksgiving day dinner... with my grandmother, and step-grandmother, after my grandfather (their ex-husband and husband, respectively) had died. Or... the turkey-day several years ago, where my SIL invited her mother, who turned around and invited the rest of their extended family. I was planning on a dinner for ten or so. They brought an extra forty... and the only food they brought was one pan of green bean cassorole, which looked like some sort of re-fried vomit... and smelled like the plague.
Load More Replies...It's actually never gone away. We are just more immune to it now and we have much better hygiene.
Well, between the pandemic, never ending wars in the Middle East, climate change triggering wildfires out West, floods down South, and extremely destructive derichos in the country’s “breadbasket“ (which also supplies a lot of the world, so can contribute to shortages and eventual famine), and as of today (8/26/2020), 828,627 deaths worldwide—-183,529 in the US alone—-we now have all four horsemen. If we don’t reset our priorities and get this s**t under control soon, we stand a really good chance of seeing something like an apocalypse. I’m just not sure what exact form it may take.
Calling all Witches! Time to put a helluva hard, heavy, fast-working, and permanent hex—-better yet, a curse—-on the racists! TBH, it’s long overdue.
time to get some eyes or tarantlas, mutated gnats, ant juice and a racist sacrifice :D also a pot over a blue flame- (im feeling stupid. feel free to downvote)

BLACK LIVES MATTER because of the amount of oppression African people and their decedents have endured. Its a movement for change. when African-American's stand up for rights they stand up for OUR rights, as a collective whole.

it was a reference to Portal. (a video game with an easter egg- "the cake is a lie" was spray painted on the wall. In the game, 'cake' was used as in-game motivation for completing the puzzles. )

Load More Replies...These are great! And it's nice to see how far through this Covid mess we've made it so far!
When I started I thought I might have enough to make maybe 30 comics and I posted #103 to my Facebook page yesterday. It's insane what we've managed to endure this year.
Load More Replies...These were definitely funny. We will need more seeing how this has no end in sight so far.
Thank you! It's still going on all my social media
