Photographer Asked Celebrities To Reveal Their Public And Private Personalities In Intimate Double-Portraits
Everybody has a public and a private persona, and celebrities are no exception. You might think you know something about them because of all the films you've seen them in, but it's only once they're out of the spotlight that their true selves are revealed.
With this in mind, photographer Andrew H. Walker decided to try to capture the other, lesser seen sides of various A-listers in order to give us a different perspective on some of our favorite movie stars and musicians. The photographs were taken at the Toronto Film Festival, and the only props the photographer allowed were a table as well as a piece of tape that acted as the dividing line between the subject's two personas. Check out some of the results below, and try to see if you can figure out which pictures represent the public personas, and which ones reveal the private faces of the people within them.

I see him as an actor being directly involved with people, engaged and part of it all. Then, his intimate self prefers to be an onlooker, perhaps even disengaged. Though I really like the idea of him judging his "persona".

This is so subtle and beautiful. What is odd is the ring on his little finger, his hand closed just a bit more; this is his "hidden" personal self. Both are pointing to each other saying it's YOU that's the real one... I think the one on the right is the truthful one, hand open and honest saying that the one on the left is truly the real me, hidden and mysterious.
