I found a new measurement for distance, too: it's 9 1/2 Byrds songs from my house to the grocery store.

No one asked them.... yet they found a way to tell everyone around them. Vegans seem to get upset about the "How can you tell a vegan?" trope, but sometimes it fits. (I expect many downvotes for merely speaking on vegans as I have only ever met one or two, even online, who weren't militantly hostile about it.)

Nothing, I'm not sure why it's here. People wear shirts that express all kinds of views/beliefs/lifestyles. I am vegan and I wouldn't choose to wear this shirt but I have had people ask me the questions this shirt answers many times so I understand the reason this person chooses to wear this. And yes, being vegan doesn't mean you're going to be skinny, all kinds of decadent delicious food can be vegan. I've been 20 lbs heavier than I need to be for years and only recently started losing weight because of a change in medication. There is no shame or pride to be had in being a certain size or weight.

All of us assume this for practical purposes though, meat eaters included. None of us avoid walking on grass because we think the grass will feel pain, but we will avoid stepping on a cat because we know it will feel pain.
