Street photography can help one discover a whole new world full of unexpected and sometimes ridiculous moments and might change one's perception of reality. It is not only a means to express oneself, but also a way to show how one sees the world.

Belgian photographer Jeffrey De Keyser travels to cities all around the world to capture extraordinary scenes of everyday life. As the artist mentions on Instagram, he embraces "the absurd human condition" and we think these photos depict just that.

If the kitten is to the left, it is for free. If the kitten moves to the right, you can get free curtains instead.

In Madrid, every October there is something similar, but muuuuuch bigger. There's a medieval "path" that crosses the city centre, which was has been used for centuries to take the sheep from one area to another. The shepherds didn't want to lose this right, so every October they cross the city with thousands of sheep. Literally, thousands. My explanation is not really clear, sorry! Google "trashumancia Madrid" and you can see the pictures. It's absolutely mind-blowing.

Not sure what's strange about this, they're obviously just taking their daily little stroll in the construction site... /sarcasm

On a serious note, there are Dutch cities that use sheep in stead of mowers to cut the grass in the parks. These herds need to be moved about from park to park.

Sheep have been herded for thousands of years throughout different industries , illnesses & progress; the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Construction wasn't going well, until the sheep said: "It's ok, we'll take it from here."

Jeffrey's photography is very much inspired by the surrealist movement. He aims to portray a piece of the surreal and absurd condition of human existence. Looking at these photographs, one might discover new ways of observing society and humankind.
