Hi there! My name is Christy and I'm the artist behind these comics and BeKyoot. I love making people smile with my art and stories. I draw (pun intended!) a lot of inspiration from the world around me, especially the fur babies that have made themselves at home in my life and heart.
All of the cat characters are based off of real animals, each of them a rescue. Coconut is the most recent addition and currently manages her mischief from various perches around my office. She warbles and dances around my bookshelf when she wants her scratchies or a fresh can of food. I post clips of them from time to time on my Instagram. Pudge the pug is based off a pug I had growing up and represents how special that breed of dog is to me.
I have a deep love of animation, and often try to pay homage to that in the daily paintings I post, as well as the environments I draw in my comics.

Don't spend all your time at work, while there are still people waiting for your company. Remember, your work can't be your drinking buddy when you're frustrated, it can't console your broken heart. Yeah, it can take your time, be busy and forget, but it can never replace the people who are there to make you happy all your life. Balance your work and social life just enough to live a good one.

That’s how I always—-and now my husband also always (yeah, I converted him)—-got my/animals. Every blessed one came straight off the street or was dumped in/near the yard. Of course I always look for their owners, but of course people dumping animals aren’t going to come forward. Our babies are far better off and happier with us anyway.

The only bed my three cats consistently sleep on is mine, and only when my husband and/or I are in it. Especially when one (or both) of us happens to be sick. Then it’s all three, or any combination (to give one a food and potty break) all day and all night. I dare anyone to tell me cats aren’t true companion animals who love us.

well i think its safe to say that my favorite character is the widdle floofy spooder X3 in every piece he was so freaking adorable!! ecspecially his little spooder peets (feet)! so so so cute!!!
