Balding Guys Try Out Non-Surgical Hair Replacements By Phil Ring, And Their Smiles Say Everything (44 Pics)
"Balding" is a word no man wants to hear. Most societies in the world associate luxurious hair with youth, beauty, and good health. "For centuries, humans have adorned themselves in a variety of ways — tattooing, nail cosmetics, and most universally, hairstyles of all sorts," Robert T. Brodell, MD, professor of internal medicine of the dermatology section told Everyday Health. "For many people, their hair is what makes them feel beautiful.” When you lose your hair — for whatever reason, it can be devastating.
Luckily, there balding guys have options. Phil Ring is one of them. He specializes in hair replacement, and his non-surgical procedures make a huge difference.
“Right away you just get so energized and excited and nervous for them but when they come back and you actually see how much it’s currently changing people. They have new dates they’ve gotten married and some people just have so much more confidence,” Ring told Bored Panda.

I agree, some men are very handsome bald, but no the ones that have a square head.
This is one of the better hair replacements I've seen, but I've had friends with all types of hair replacements that don't grow. When the side hair grows out, it's very strange looking. When summer lightens the natural hair, it's strange looking. And he'll be hyper jumpy about people touching his hair or being in wind or rain.
As a Chemotherapeutic patient, I really do appreciate trying to hold onto what you have. One thing I discovered was, bald really can be so incredibly beautiful. Trying to hide hair loss is SO much worse than learning to own it..
someone really sucks at taking picture and photo shop, if you are going to try and shame people for how they are at least try and not do it half @$$
The before looks like they took a straight razor to his hairline. Totally legit baldness.
They do. Most of the pics are taking just before the transplant.

Almost everyone here looks younger with their grown hair. Perfect!!!
He looks younger with hair, but I'm more attracted to the other version of this man
This is LITERALLY the very same picture. Is the hair photoshopped? He shadows are the same, the marks are in the same spot in both pictures.
Everyday Health suggests these positive ways of dealing with the emotional side of hair loss include:
Reminding yourself that hair loss itself is not life-threatening. "It may not be pleasant and it can be unfortunate, but you can live with thinning hair or a bald spot, Brodell says. Hair loss is only as challenging as you think it is."
Putting that bald spot in perspective. "Your true friends and family will like you for yourself and not for how much hair you have on your head. When it comes to sexuality, you have many other attributes to excite your partner."
Working with beauty professionals to find a hairstyle that suits you. "You may want to find a wig, hat, or a head scarf that complements your sense of fashion. If your hair is thinning, it’s best to keep it short rather than try to hide bald spots with obvious comb-overs."
Considering talk therapy. "If the emotional impact of hair loss is getting in the way of living your life, get help from a mental health professional."
hi, I figured it was - but I wanted to see cute guys. :)

I would leave the sides a little longer so it doesn't look like it was just plopped on top.
I think he looked sexier without the hair. I know I'm not alone in loving bald men.
These pics are great. You can get these same systems in Australia from https://www.hairskeen.com.au
He looks like he's wearing a cupcake. But if he's happy with it, that's the important thing.
That's because they hadn't shaved his head yet.
Load More Replies...So on the left photoshop they put a bit of hair on one side of his head but made the other side shaved smooth
First pic: The guy who goes out for 4 beers at lunch from work. Second pic: The guy who goes out for 4 beers at lunch from work, with hair...
Did he get brow extensions too? He looks even more confused in the second pic!
This is a 'non-surgical procedure'. I think that means wig, so they need to be able to affix it to the scalp.
Load More Replies...Wait... you can see that this guy's hair grows normally, but it's been shaved on the top.
his and a few in the beginning just look like they shaved their heads (and then let it grow back)
Serious question though, would you feel the same way when he takes it off? I really feel like women could get away with wearing extensions, wigs, etc. but the minute a guy does it he'd be frowned upon.
Load More Replies...They shave it so the new stuff sticks better: and boy, he looks great
It looks like the first pic is after he lost a bet and the other two are the before pics
i don't think this is the same person. before has a freckle near his hair line and a hoop on the inner part of his ear, but after doesn't have either of those
thats why we miss our hair, we look younger with it.
Load More Replies...He has a great smile. If it makes him happy, then it doesn't matter if I think it's flattering or not.
I think there is a very bright light overhead which is reflected off his bald head.
Load More Replies...You look like a wig. Be nice, he looks great!
Load More Replies...Sorry notice how clean the edge lines are for photo one like it has been cut that way
Otherwise they would rip out the little hair that they had left
Load More Replies...I think the before photo is after the centre area was shaved for applying the toupee. So it looks a bit like they photoshopped in the bald.
Load More Replies...Yes. That's all The Thing now. ........................... ............... ................................ ............................. ............................... ....... .......... ........ No. Your mind is playing tricks on you, curb your browsing habits.
Load More Replies...Handsome both ways - but what's with the wispy hairs down front of the hairpiece?
To cover up the white lines they drew on his forehead~~~~ lol
Load More Replies...What's with the dotted line around his forehead?? My SO sees it, too, so no trickery...;-D
I was going to say that makes him look 20 years younger. Holy cow!
Load More Replies...You look completely different the first picture of you in the balding hair makes you look older and then the picture of you after you have hair looks like you could be the son of the first picture lol you look awesome
The left picture looks a bit creepy and it's not because of the bald spot. Nice friendly smile in the second one though.
My hair is pretty much identical, soooo...thanks, I guess?
Load More Replies...You can see the razor marks behind his ear! Poor job of arranging hair also.
no, probably his eyelid was injured or he had it from birth
Load More Replies...I think he looked good bald but if this makes him feel better, go for it
I agree, the hair style makes his face too long.
Load More Replies...He looks better on the left, on the right he looks like a Prince wannabe
That line where the toupee stops is a dead giveaway. But in all fairness, if I was going bald, I would consider it.
Yes, the improvement in their self-esteem is more important than what we think. It's like years ago when Elton John started sporting that goofy toupee, but he was so happy with it, that's what counts.
Load More Replies...This is Ryan Morgan, co-owner of Arctic Fox hair colour. He was probably seeing if the hair piece could be coloured with their dyes.
Yes, even without seeing the first pic it looks like a pompom.
Load More Replies...What's... yeah... what's with the eyebrows? Something just doesn't feel right.
Man, I'm really not fond of men getting their eyebrows done... but I know it's big in a few Asian countries. Oh well.
He likes to clown around and now he has hair to match. Bottom guy, really bad hair.
It's not the ear, just an item in the background that is creating the strange appearance.
Load More Replies...I think it's more successful when he leaves the sides natural instead of shearing them short - it blends better.
I think they pay them men to shave there head only way you can explain the mustache. So it's a reverse before and after.
Oh hell naw. That is very obviously a hair piece, & not a good looking one either.
You are so right. Several shades lighter would have been better. Why do so many of them look like they have been scared with hair standing on end?

Wow, this article is just wrong. Not only is it single sided and subjective, thereby very close to pure advertisment. But also does it not at all fall in line with BP's normal stance. "Love yourself as you are", "inner beauty counts", and recently even a series showing women with grey hair and saying that dyeing to please others is not right. Here the message is: bald men look s****y and are miserable, if they buy expensive hair replacements they are much better people again! Oh well, oh welll...
Interesting I didn't see it that way at all. It's another artist showing off his work, and if it makes the guys feel better about themselves then I see nothing wrong with it
Load More Replies...This post was a submission by the hairstylist himself. He collected some of his works and put it on the website. Everyone can do that.
Load More Replies...As a bald man I always find it strange and sad that men needs hair to feel like a man. But everyone can choose their own lives, so if it makes you happy, go for it.
It's tough. I agree with you-- we should embrace the way we are-- but you can't deny most of society will have a visceral reaction to baldness and prefer the picture with hair. We are shallow creatures, and it sucks and I wish I had an answer, but it's the same reason why plastic surgery is more and more prevalent. It's weird. I wish we lived in a place where we we could love ourselves and our differences instead of wanting to conform to whatever.

Load More Replies...This might be becaue these are photos advertising a commercial service...
Load More Replies...That video of "watch him do his thing" was amazingly useless. Phase one: Prepare. Phase two: ?? . Phase three: Finished!! --- could still be identical twins, or surgery between shots, or whatever (theoretically)... No "doing his thing" whatsoever.
