Today is Teacher Appreciation Day in the US. Do you appreciate your teacher? Probably not. But if they're good then you probably should. After, school can be kind of boring, and so it takes a very special kind of teacher to stop you from falling asleep at your desk every day.
Check out this list, compiled by Bored Panda, for our favorite examples of awesome teachers. I read an interview with him a while back. He wore the same outfit by accident the two first years, and his wife told him to turn it into a thing. He only wears the clothes at picture day; the rest of the year they are carefully stored, since they are starting to show wear.

It's not. Uniform styles change, esp over the span of 40 years. Even if they kept the same sweater vest for some reason, the style of the collar on the white shirt underneath would have changed. That collar style went out of fashion 30 years ago so they would have had to have the shirts custom made, which would have been a stupid expense.
