I would reserve judgment on this. There may not have been anyone else there when they lay down to nap. Happened to me once, in a hangar in Kuwait. Only two of us in the terminal, we lay down to nap, woke up to find an entire Company of 101st Airborne (100+) sleeping all around us, even on the floor.

This happened once to me. There was no people at the terminal so i stretched out to take a nap. When i woke up, hundreds of people were sitting at the terminal. So embarrassing…..
LOL Airports are pretty common to have people sleeping in the public areas. Especially by those flying anything cheaper than business class.

Really. This is the pinnacle of... selfishness? Making some people who may need to sit, like pregnant,disabled, or elderly people, stand, just so you can stretch out on your phone. I could easily lay on the floor wrapped in a blanket.
When we lived in SE Asia the hardest thing we had to get used to was how bad people have such little concern for others. The worst was pushing. Everyone PUSHES!!! So rude.
i lived in Singapore for 13 years and i can attest to this...though there was no pushing, there was a lot of bare feet on public transport, clipping toenails on benches around other people, clipping toenails on the bus, blowing noses onto the ground etc. and the office bathroom was a nightmare....

Airlines expect you to sit up and not sleep while you wait for a flight that been delayed 12 hours. They need cots in the airport, even if you have to rent 'em.

The one who is awake is aware of being a jerk. the other 2 are recharging for the next part of the day.
To be fair, this is normal, if the airport isn’t too busy it’s fine, we once just came off a 12 hr flight had an 8 hr layover then another 12 hr flight so we slept, in some cases it’s okay when there’s nowhere else to rest.
When I was waiting for a very late plane I didn't do this I just sat up and slept I mean how hard is that.
I think this one deserves a pass. Airports are hard places to spend a lot of time in anyway and we have no idea how long these people have been waiting. It's not like there's a bed section where you can take a nap between flights or rest while your flight is cancelled/rescheduled or whatever and most of us can't afford a hotel if we haven't already budgeted for one on a trip.
And barefeet, no less. We deserve this so much more than anyone else.
As long as you make pkace when people want to sit. And woman, put your shoes on.
I have been there and done that. Usually i find a quiet corner or out of the way place. But when you haven' slept for 30 hours and security guards wont let you sleep on the floor you just say 'f**k it' and flomp out on the chairs.
They could have been there before it filled up. No excuse for removing their shoes in public like that though.
They are ignorant go up to them stand there for a second or two if there is no response, then in your loudest voice you can muster Yell move you ignorant asshole!
And their gross bare feet. Ew (I think all bare feet are gross; it's almost a phobia).
I don't care who this offends. I've been all around the world. The most ignorant tourists BY FAR are Chinese tourists (don't know if these people are Chinese but I'm making a statement). The worst flights of my life were on Air China. Concepts which are seemingly foreign to Chinese people: covering their mouths when they sneeze/cough, not smoking on airplanes (they do it in the washroom and flight attendants seem to not give a s**t), acknowledging someone's right of way, waiting their turns in queues, chewing with their mouths closed.....the list goes on. God awful.
Interesting that this appears to be a fairly homogenous population. There are social mores in place.

The only reason you might feel the need to shame these people is because modern society has normalized disregard for authority, and thereby encourages disregard for the law as well as social mores, or else you simply want to feel good about yourself by pointing out flaws in others. Either way, you are whining rather than doing what is necessary to stop behaviours like this.
It drives my husband batty sometimes, but when I see cups at the mall/carts in the parking lot that are going to hit cars or block spaces/ perishable food on shelves I take a second to fix it. Yes I know some people get paid to do it but those people usually also have 1,000 other duties. IDK, it feels like most people don't care about others and that's the root of most of these. (The rest like the phone screens are just funny but I couldn't live with)
