    There's *slow*, and then there's *sessile* (like a barnacle)! 😁 (Incidentally, I learned that vocabulary word from Lois McMaster Bujold. Anyone else here who likes fantasy prose as well as visuals?)

    I've seen trees with bark that really does resemble elephant skin, but I feel sorry for this guy, immobile and out of reach of more than a little grass to eat. 🤷
