We don't know by this photo that Anna wasn't looking at a child in costume. Children under 14 are allowed to dress as Disney Characters, and adults can as well as long as it's during one of their featured events (Disney's Not So Scary Halloween)

I find it fascinating that you can still efficiently communicate in ASL while wearing one of those costumes. I heard these are super uncomfortable to wear and the shapes are out of proportions (obviously, since they replicate cartoon mascots). And yet, sign language is still possible. As someone who majored in linguistics, I seriously find that interesting and amazing.

Okay but this reminds me of the joke thingy on Tumblr "so, Mickey you said you wanted to divorce Minnie because she was...extremely silly?" Mickey: No, I said she was f**king Goofy" EDIT: for you guys like "ItS bEeN aRoUnD lOnGeR tHeN tUmBlR" idk probably has. That's where I saw it.

My mom told me that when I went to Disneyland when I was three, I met all the princesses and hugged them except for Ariel. I said she was a fake princess because mermaids don't exist and walked away. My mom couldn't stop laughing and feeling embarassed at the same time.

We went to disneyworld when I was 16 and it was AMAZING. I wore a giant teacup hat the whole time. The mad hatter offered to fill it up with tea. and one time I was walking around and Peter pan ran up behind me, he asked me why I had a cup on my head then took my hat and ran off! I chased him around the park for a good 5 mins and everytime I'd loose sight of him I'd see my hat being waved around in the air. And when we went to have breakfast with the winnie the pooh characters eeyore refused to leave till I gave him a hug.

This reminds me of the time a goose stole my hat as a kid. At the time it seemed like an epic battle, girl vs goose, but I imagine my parents were having trouble not laughing at my plight. (I did get it back, but there was a lot of chasing involved.)

Hey Hans, I regularly see Buzzfeed pulling any and everything off BP. This was a first to see it on Buzzfeed first- but I still go to both everyday and don't most of these posts just come from Reddit?

I'll have to ask my mom for the picture, but... For some reason when we went to Disney, my dad was afraid someone would steal his shoes. My dad was a big guy-- 6'4" and 250lbs, so we joked that only Goofy would even want his shoes. We went to a character brunch and there was an actor dressed as Goofy, so my mom told him this story. He came back a little while later and pretended to try to steal my dad's shoes right off his feet.

My kids made a carton dynamite stick, painted it red with the black fuse, and took it to the Warner Brothers movie park in Germany. But when they tried to scare the employees, not one of them played along. Dynamite sticks are present in EVERY WB-cartoon, but apparently not in the German versions!

Went to Disneyland Tokyo two years ago. Didn't see even one character. Apparently, one needs to pay extra to see them. My daughter was rather disappointed.

If I ever go back to Disneyland (Paris edition), I'm definitely going with better company than last time. Those guys sucked. Yes, I did buy a load of Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, and no, it's not 'edgy'.

I used to live in Anaheim and everybody in the whole town at one point worked for Disneyland. While the employer is strict about maintaining the dignitiy of the brand, there was absolutely none of the illegal labor practices to which you refer. In fact, they were militant about people taking scheduled breaks and clocking off at EXACTLY the right time. No 12 hours shifts for anyone that I knew.
