Stuff On Scout’s Head is a blog run by Jen Gillen, a woman of patience, and her dog Scout, who could blow any circus poodle off the stage with his master balancing skills. On Stuff On Scout’s Head, Gillen posts pictures of, you guessed it, Scout balancing things on his head. Not only can he hold a roll of toilet paper on his head (which is how it all started), but he can hold a laptop, a bucket of paint or even a vase as well. Scout is so well-trained that not even a slice of pizza or a pyramid of burgers can distract him.
French photographer Sophie Gamand decided to create a natural and very cute photo series of dogs getting wet during their grooming procedures. What makes the fittingly-titled Wet Dog photo series so funny is how realistically these little fellows react to water and shampoo. Some fur balls remain stoic and pretend that everything’s OK, but others don’t even try to hide their emotions, and you can see the misery, surprise and even anger in their eyes. Don’t worry, though – not a single doggy was harmed during this photoshoot.

Miles, a five-year-old boy in San Francisco who has been fighting leukemia since he was one year old, was given the opportunity to star in a cute and heart-warming city-wide drama as Batman, the caped crusader. In the city-wide event, which featured civilians, police and a full-fledged social media campaign, Miles, dressed as Batkid, got to join Batman in a black Lamborghini as they drove around the city to save people in danger and stop infamous criminals. This beautiful testament to human love and compassion was made possible by 11,000 Make-A-Wish volunteers and the city of San Francisco.
Usually, babies are brought to tears by a full diaper or because they’re hungry, but this baby has been brought to tears by the power of music. This video of a 10-month-old baby reacting emotionally when his mother sings Rod Stewart’s My Heart Can’t Tell You No has gone viral with millions of likes. There are countless genes that govern different aspects of cats’ fur color, length, patterns and other properties. These mutations create the beautiful and unique patterns that we love, but they can sometimes also create unexpectedly interesting designs. The latest in a recent flurry of excellent baby and maternity photo shoots is Daddy’s Little Prop, in which Anthony Stuart and his lovely associate (and wife) create a baby out of thin air. The shoot is set up to look like a traditional magic show, with Stuart in a magician’s getup and his wife dressed in a racy assistant’s outfit. The couple’s sense of humor is what makes the series to fun – the wife looks surprised (or shocked) at the baby inside of her, while the dad looks proud of his work.
