When I was a kid we got a new fridge and they let me have the box. it was awesome. Back then we had to use our imagination. And that box was everything from a rocket to a car, even a little house. I loved that box. And then one day it rained (a lot). And my little cardboard box was ruined. But I still have some great memories of that box. So I totally understand, boxes rule. Who knows what a cat sees when they're in those boxes, maybe they are imagining little rockets and cars....lol.

YEP, mine did the same thing with that style bed.. After fixing it back several times, I finally just decided to leave it.. Don't people who design, CAT TEST these things before production ???

Our cat has the same water bowl in the dining room, and a second bowl in our bedroom (nighttime drinking), and he still cries for us to turn on the bathroom faucet. If we don't come, he knocks things off the counter. But he does use the recirculating water bowl when he thinks we aren't looking. I often have a crystal bowl of floating plumeria flowers on the kitchen table--he assumes it's for him. Sigh.
