Simply majestic !! How can you capture that beauty when you have to be so cold? !!
What a magnificent animal - love it you take beautiful photos and DO NOT kill. The world needs more great photographers and NO trophy hunters . Thank you !
You have to understand that down, in the South Island of New Zealand. Deer are a pest to the environment. Not all hunting is to do with "Trophy Hunting" y'know.
Load More Replies...Hard to tell if one is behind the hill or actually on the ground..... I don't know if they lie down to rest. Will be looking that up.

WOW I keep thinking they can't get better !! But the shots are terrific - thank you so much. Not being a snow or winter lover at all, I applaud your great work in that freezing snow and cold.
Great shots! AND, you are spot-on Mr Betts, because a picture speaks a thousand words.
These are great pics! Are there any predators for them left in Scotland?
I don't hunt but a neighbor brings me elk steak .The only reed meat I like better is Tri-tips.
