Feeling like there’s no good left in the world? It happens. Maybe you’ve had more than enough rudeness, cruelty, and insensitivity for this week, and need a dose of wholesomeness to remind you that it’s not all bad.
That’s why we at Bored Panda put together this list of moments that warmed our hearts by showing us the bonds that form within families, communities, and beyond when people (and not only people!) extend kindness and support to others. These images show that it doesn’t matter whether a gesture is simple, or grand - you can never show your loved ones that you care too many times, it pays to lend a helping hand to someone going through adversity, and a random good deed for a stranger can make thousands of people smile.
P.S. If you're done scrolling but still feel thirsty for more wholesome stories, fire up Bored Panda's earlier lists: You Will Be Smiling Like An Idiot After Seeing These 239 Wholesome Pictures, and If You Think The World Is A Terrible Place These 217 Wholesome Pics Will Change Your Mind.

Amazon Tribe Wins Lawsuit, Blocks Big Oil’s Bid To Destroy Millions Of Acres Of Rainforest
One study authored by an Oxford anthropology researcher found that any and all acts of kindness, whether towards your loved ones or your community, can make not only the recipient happier, but also the giver. Hundreds of study participants all over the world, after a week of consciously striving to behave kindly, reported feeling happier than the control group (which is not to say that the people in the control group were all unkind, but apparently changing your outlook can make all the difference.)
My Mum Always Made Me A Birthday Cake. Every Year For 44 Years. Two Months Since She Died And My Old Dad Tried His Hardest And My Heart Melted
Even study participants who made an effort to be kind to themselves by taking time alone to relax, meditate and listen to their favorite music experienced similar effects. What’s more, simply observing kind acts had a positive impact on the study participants, which goes to show that your good deeds could go even further than you think, and that noticing the good around you could go a long way towards feeling happier.
Love Is All That Matters
Oh, so sad. My Mum didn’t know who I was or able communicate. Totally heartbreaking. You were so lucky she could communicate with you.
We hope that taking a look at these stories does the same for you. This weekend, think about what a week of deliberately being kind to yourself and others could do for you. Maybe it will be the first of many!
An Elementary School Bus Driver Asked Every Kid On His Bus What They Wanted For Christmas. He Bought Every Child A Gift
Most Are Good
Read This On One Of The FB Groups. Warmed My Heart
I'm proud to say I have one. While still at school my son was working part time doing event security. One of the events was a huge teenage disco organised by a large company. The average age was about 14 and of course the kids went all out to it to dress up, it was alcohol free obviously. My son noticed that there were a good many men there who appeared to know the organiser but who weren't involved in the event. He felt that their behaviour and manner towards the young girls was creepy and inappropriate. He told me about it when he came home and I suggested he contact police so he called a sergeant whom I know in the HQ, he went in and explained what he'd seen and answered a few questions. It turns out that this man is under investigation already and the police were delighted to get more evidence even though it wasn't very concrete but it's all grist to the mill. They congratulated him for doing it as he was only 18 at the time. I was very proud of him.
Load More Replies...That's good that she gave a shout out in thanks and praise to the boy. However, if that girl wasn't embarrassed on the bus, she probably is now that mom decided to announce it on Facebook.
awww we need more young men/men in general like this... i commend this boy and hope good karma comes his way
That's one of the reasons we have to teach boys about periods too! So they understand and not make fun, respect and are able to help, what a lovely boy, he's going to be a great man!
Happened to me in the 6th grade . A crowd of boys followed me from the lunch room making jokes , I didn't realize they were about me because I didn't know yet. My crush ended up telling me . Yeah that was super fun. Luckily I had a jacket . I walked past one of the boys in the class and he made a joke about me , so I acted like I tripped and punched him in the crotch 😆 He shut up after that
Amazing! That's one of those times in life that would have haunted that poor girl for life, had that young man not been there for her. I'm so glad he was.
Periods are NOTHING to be ashamed of. I hope I raise my sons' to be this courteous.
Such a nice story! I suppose this boy's dad also deserves to be thanked (why just his mom?)
I was not prepared for the emotions that I'm experiencing whilst reading these; my heart can't take it 🥺🤧
If this boy has this much compassion and sensitivity now, he's gonna grow up to be an AMAZING man! I hope he can be the example for boys.
Hope there are more young men like that being raised .......such a kind boy!!!!.
To all the teenage girls out there- I can't emphasise this enough: Keep track of your period in your diary (or phone - there are apps for it) and wear panty liners during THAT week. You can save yourself from a situation like this. 💖
I know most children are more than good. This guy went above and beyond and will make a great husband!
This young man, comes from good loving parents, and perhaps siblings have also taught him !!!
I hope this boy grows up to be the MAN that he is NOW . Chivalry matters.
Simply incredible, I hope my grandsons will be so thoughtful, and kind to the girls !!!
This is a nice story. If only there were more people like this young lad, whoever he was 💖
That was very kind of that young man and I hope he realizes how appreciated he is.
Most teenager boys would never say anything to the girl but would just join in laughing at her when it was noticed. This boy is certainly to be commended for his kindness. That's the kind of boy I'd want my daughter to marry if I had one.
Love this young man, and kudos to his parents & sisters for raising him like this.
That’s sweet !! Keep it up , little guy ! I have a son , who is now in his 60 th and this king young man reminds me of him ! It’s good to have good kids !! Giselle Fiebig
That was beautiful! And not even an adult! Wow--he is something!!!

Somewhere In Heaven There's A Black And White Dog Taking Care Of Seven Golden Lab Puppies
Daisy the dog lost all seven of her puppies in a barn fire at the end of February, and wasn’t the same afterwards, spending most of her days going to the remains of the barn to look for them. Her owner posted a desperate appeal on Facebook, asking if anyone had puppies she could foster. The next day, an owner of eight orphaned puppies contacted her, and Daisy took to caring for them straight away. (source)

"Feeling like there’s no good left in the world? It happens. Maybe you’ve had more than enough rudeness, cruelty, and insensitivity for this week". Uh....yeah, right here on BP. There's a reason happy/funny/cute/silly stories have so many comments like "More articles like this please". Please tell me you wrote this while looking in the mirror.
This comment in and of itself perpetuates the very negativity you are speaking against. Appreciating things for what they are instead of complaining about fully separate articles would be more positive and logical. Like who cares. Just let things be positive in this article without bitching about some other articles.

I'm trying to hold back tears! This post is sooo uplifting and is one of my favourites
thanks, that's exactly what I'm feeling. Was so stressed at work this morning, went to boredpanda for some distraction - and now I'm sitting at my desk holding back tears.
Load More Replies...There's such consistency in the early stages of this article. There are 210 posts right now and they almost all have the same number of upvotes. I think the other people did what I did and upvoted them all. Great timing on this article. I needed this right about now.
I think we all try to get BP to notice we LOVE this type the most of all and we all upvote the cr@p out of it for that :)

Load More Replies...This made me cry so hard! I needed this so much, This has got to be one of my favorite posts, I really hope they don't cut the list back.
That's all-right Iggy. Some of the photographs dealt with some very heavy subjects (homelessness, terminal illness, death, child illness, mental health, etc.) that can bring up a lot of very hard emotions for some people. I really loved this thread, but do admit that I had to skip over some of the photos. I did really love some of the animal and family related ones!
Load More Replies...I would like to add one thing to the list. In the Netherlands you can get an one time pay out from the government if you are a victim of violet crimes, rape or if you are relative from someone who died because of murder. It is pretty high, it can be from €1000 to €30.000. Just to give you some recognition of what happend. The only thing is that you have serious problems like ptss thanks to it. But still, I think it pretty nice of the government.
Reading these articles makes me wish I was a better person..I mean I'm not exactly c**p either..but still..I'd love to rescue animals, or pay for someone's coffee or hand out food to the homeless..just some way of making the world a much better place, one kind act at a time.
It's never too late to start! If you have money, donate to animal shelters or homeless shelters. If you don't have money, there still always little things you can do to help someone or improve their day. I have an elderly neighbour and I regularly shovel the snow in front of his door because I know he's unable to do it himself

One of the best from Bored Panda. I cried over each one. God bless those who do good in this world.

These photos were so heartwarming. With all the bad going on in the world, I am glad to see these images of good.

Thank you so much for the tears and laughter. Lovely. X You are doing a great job.
Thank you B.P. this post was excellent, going to bed, with a smile !!!

These are such beautiful stories. I love the things on BP generally, but I was actually moved to (happy) tears by the time I read about the sweet service dog bringing his mummy two potatoes when she was crying. There is love in the world, and it’s nice to be reminded of it.
