Meet one dog and you will fall in love with these animals forever. They encourage us to get out and explore the world, they help us find joy in simple things, like riding in a car, and they are always willing to snuggle. What I'm trying to say is, dogs are the best.

Marissa Sunny, CPDT-KA and senior dog lifesaving specialist at Best Friends Animal Society, told Bored Panda that "dogs typically see their owners as family and their best friends! They grow extremely attached to people in their lives and will remember them even years later."
If you end up on a dog's good person list, it will definitely show you; dogs typically express affection by soliciting attention, "giving kisses", and actively trying to spend time with you," Sunny explained.

Animal rescue workers are SO underrated. Their work is difficult and often heartbreaking. All my dogs have been rescues, and always will be.

So glad he made it home! My first dog was a pit. He adopted me after a neighbor freed him. His previous owners had moved away and left him tied up in their yard on a 2 foot chain. But she had a dog, and he came to my house. I bought him bisquits, because he was so sweet, thinking he had people. When my neighbor told me the story, I took him right in. Only problem? I had to teach him english. He was well trained, but in spanish. He was also very smart, so it didnt take him long. He also did not ever want to step on any metal plates in the sidewslk or road. And we had to walk around foot bridges. He was a great dog!
Join one if possible, it'll do your heart good. If the dog is coming from an over crowded shelter, you may be saving it's life

A German Shepherd Called Capitán Has Slept Next To The Grave Of His Owner Every Night At 6pm For 6 Years (2006-2012)
His owner, Miguel Guzmán died in 2006. Capitán, the dog, disappeared while the family attended the fueral services. A week later reatives of Guzmán were visiting the cemetery when they were astounded to find the dog next to the owner's grave.

Such a sweet dog, I had a dog hat was part Terrier, I named him Danny, my personal thought, Terriers are very intelligent, I wasn't into teaching him tricks, but he did some cute things, on his own, when I went out, he would stand in the window, I would wave to him, he waved back !!!

This is a picture of my dog Shilo (the Border Collie) Rua the brown dog and Toby the white dog. Rua and Toby belong to my neighbours but all three are the best of friends and always have great fun running around and playing with each other despite Shilo being nearly twice the height of them. In fact one of their favourite games is that Rua and Toby will chase each other and run underneath Shilo when chasing each other while Shilo just stands there laughing at them. This is a fabulous post, so many dogs, great photos, unfortunately, it makes me miss my dogs, I am unable to have dogs now, but my dogs are in heaven waiting for me, all my pets were adopted rescues, and all were incredible, I believe rescues, know they have a good home, and are more affectionate, my dogs were excellent, Please Adopt !!!
