People Are Sharing The Weirdest Celebrity Encounters They Have Ever Had And Here Are 30 Of The Wildest Ones
It’s surely amazing to run into someone that you personally know, but what about running into someone that everyone knows? Well, it surely will be something memorable, and hopefully it went smoothly, because if it was awkward, then it calls for a share with folks online.
Chuck Wending on Twitter, @ChuckWending, decided to ask people to share their weirdest celebrity encounters ever. With over 5k likes, the tweet contained famous people of all calibers: Ice-T, John Waters, Hulk, Sting and others. And it seems that any public spaces such as lifts, airports, Disneyland and bars are the perfect setting for those meetings to happen. Enjoy these serendipitous encounter stories that were quite random and a little bit awkward and vote for your favorite ones.

And you totally forgot about Post Malone to your left, before he got tattoos.
Patrick Stewart. I would've lost my ever lovin mind. I don't fan girl much, but one hell of an actor, one hell of a human being.
I once shook hands with Bobby Kennedy—he was on his last swing through California and stopped at the San Jose (then) Municipal Airport. He was assassinated three days later.
Sorry about your dad. He was really good at selling stuff. I admit I bought several things he pitched
Ooh la la! That man had the most gorgeous eyes—how did you not just melt into a puddle of goo?
I like that Neil Gaiman is on this thread twice, as both the celebrity and the encounter-er haha
It's a little cringy to try and get a date by name dropping your dad, but it was a great response.
"I was bitten by Janet Jackson's monkey." This is truly an awesome sentence
Stuck between two D***s, then? Been there, done that. (This was an absolute cheap shot, feel free to downvote me ;p ) Seriously though, that must have been interesting if you were stuck in there for any length of time.
I saw him before a show in Pittsburgh (I worked at the stadium). I didn't believe it was him...had a bright teal windbreaker on, boat shoes with no socks, hair all did, nice glasses. Went out on stage a few hours later looking like he'd been thrown from a train in his regular getup.
I loved Kennedy as a VJ, absolutely hate her on Fox. Nice meeting, though
You didn’t mean to hit on Lesley Stahl or you weren’t trying to hit on anyone and she misinterpreted what you said?
Saw John Candy at the teller counter in the Main branch Royal Bank in Vancouver. Went up to him and threw the smallest post it note to him and asked him to sign because the girls back at the office won't believe it. He chuckled a signed no problem. It read ' Thanks for the Acting lessons...John Candy'. Very humble man.
Maya Angelou. She was buying an outfit, and nobody recognized her except me and one other girl in the shop, and we fan-girled like idiots. Got her autograph. Then had to explain who she was, which really killed the buzz, frankly. But she was amazingly sweet about our going super-fan-girl on her. :-)
Some years ago in southern France, I met a guy in the street and thought "this man looks exactly like Jean Paul Gaultier", Apparently I mumbled the phrase and he smiled at me "Oui, c' est moi!"
