Deep down, everyone wants to be a hero. Legendary cosplayer Alyson Tabbitha is no different. Except for the fact that being just one hero isn’t enough for her. Sometimes it seems like she wants to embody every single famous character of a comic book, movie, and video game in existence. At least for a few hours.
Alyson has been cosplaying professionally since 2014. Since then, her cool costumes have turned many a head and inspired others to take up this difficult art of DIY cosplay. Not to mention that her success has bred intense but friendly rivalry with other cosplayers.

Newt Scamander (Fantastic Beasts)
She braids it into tiny braids to run along her scalp and puts a wig cap over it

You could've told me that was a still from the movie and I would've believed you. Amazing.
Bald caps are a thing. Tuck your hair in em and you're golden
Load More Replies...A mind-boggling 1 million cosplay fans follow Alyson on Instagram, while another 516,000 Internet users follow her on Facebook. I’m sure that some of us are a tiny bit jealous of all the attention. However, it’s easy to see why Alyson has such massive support — she makes very high quality, detailed DIY costumes that are close to perfection.
Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)
100% CORRECT!!!!!!!!!!----THEY PERFECTED THE LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!
Load More Replies...Awesome! Bet she could fool Spouse: Brad Pitt (m. 2014–2016), Billy Bob Thornton (m. 2000–2003), and Jonny Lee Miller (m. 1996–1999)
Joker
Yes, but I upvoted it because it is so weird and unexpected. Others should also see this cursed image.
Load More Replies...It’s sublime 😊 Beauty and terror in one act. I like how uneasy it makes me feel 😊
I hope that poor dog doesn't have to sleep with that! I sure wouldn't.... couldn't.... Aargh

Alyson, who describes herself as “just a girl that likes to play dress up & make things“, enjoys fullfiling cosplay ideas both as women and men alike: from Lara Croft and Queen Amidala to Newt Scamander and Legolas. Her resemblance to these characters is uncanny!
Joker (The Dark Knight)
So horrifying when this joker gets in your car and order you to drive home . Then 'he' slowly removes the makeup
David Bowie
correct. and they still downvoted you. buncha little mean girls on here. ☹

The origins of cosplay can be found way back in history, in the masquerade balls of the 15th century. A century later, they turned into costumed public festivals in Italy. Later on, the 19th century saw the rise in popularity of American costume and British fancy dress parties.
Maleficent
Well... probably not photoshopped because her eyes are the same shape, she probably used makeup (like the eyeliner) to make them look less round
Load More Replies...(Again) looks amazing! She killed it, and yes almost as good as Angelina Jolie. Like i said the younger Angelina.
Queen Amidala (Star Wars)
EXELENT IN WHITE;-----PERFECT IN ROYAL ROBES;--COULD HAVE FOOLED ME!!!!!!!!!!
However, modern cosplay can be traced back to 1908 when Mr. and Mrs. William Fell dressed up as the characters Mr. Skygack and Miss Dillpickles for a masquerade at a skating rink.
Jack Sparrow (Pirates Of The Caribbean)
not only the colors or outfit, but the very essence of the charcater is totally bluffin g
SHE NEEDS TO DIRTY HER TEETH & SMILE;---this expression SHOWS feminine cheek-bones; & TENDS to spoil effect!!!!!!!!
Leeloo (The Fifth Element)
How the efffff does she get the features so on point? The eyes get me the most! Every single one is just so on point
PERFECT! In my opinion, like everyone else's, she is the splitting image of MJ in character. Not even MJ could do better!!! In my opinion......
Agreed! It's called "the spitting image", though ;)
Load More Replies...The first people to wear costumes to a convention were science fiction fans, Forrest J. Ackerman and Myrtle R. Douglas: they attended the 1939 1st World Science Fiction Convention in New York dressed in futuristic costumes, including green cape and breeches. Fan costuming caught on since then and the 2nd Worldcon in 1940 had both an unofficial masquerade held in Douglas' room and an official masquerade as part of the program.
Sarah (Labyrinth)
omg I didn't realize so many people liked this movie as much as I did
Jareth The Goblin King (Labyrinth)
😲 OMG!!! GTFOH! I'M TAKEN ABACK BY THIS ONE BECAUSR WOW! JUST LIKE HIM, HER TWIN.
I'm impressed... first Jennifer and now David. Lady, you got some talent! WOOT!
That's a 2nd Bowie and a 2nd "Labyrinth" character. She must really like the film :)
this cosplay is extremely well done, just like the others. i'm glad to see she's a fan of Labyrinth ;)
Hela (Thor: Ragnarok)
i do not see the difference it is as close to perfect as you get
AGAIN! SHE IS GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES. I'M WONDERING NOW THOUGH 🤔 IS THIS ALL HER DOING THE DRESS UPS BY HERSELF OR DOES SHE GOT (professional) HELP?!?
Cosplayers often learn how to do it all themselves or with friends. The costumes are expensive as heck even to make yourself (materials etc). Often they barely break even even if they make a career of it. Some do have professional shoots sometimes, but its often done by the cosplayer themselves or them and few savvy friends.
Load More Replies...Elsa (Frozen)
Princess Leia (Star Wars)
OK; I WILL BUY THAT!!!!!!!!!;---BECAUSE HER CHEEKS ARE ALL WRONG FOR CARRIE FISHER!!!!!!!!!!
Load More Replies...PRETTY!! YES!!---BUT her face shape ALL WRONG!!!!!----NOTHING LIKE HER LARA CROFT; OR DAVID BOWIE!!!!
Wonder Woman
Wonder woman wore this outfit when she was on the amazonian island
Load More Replies...FACE & EXPRESSION PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!;--LEFT PICTURE BEST!!!!!!!!!!---------SHE NEEDS THE "RED, WHITE, BLUE & GOLD"---TO --PERFECT THE "SALE"!!!!!!!!!!!!
Arwen (Lord Of The Rings)
Yes! Of course! Liv likeness all the way!!! I'd like to see someone else do better. In my 👀 eyes & in my opinion, I highly doubt anyone else can do it any better than this!!!
Cinderella
She could bag a real prince looking like this, (after all, Meghan did). Hmmmm, who’s available?
Legolas (Lord Of The Rings)
I think his face shape might've been a little too different for her to get it spot on. Still really cool though!
Rey (Star Wars)
Exactly, yet on some photos of her normal self she looks like she could be Tina Fey's daughter. Don't ask why that is xD
Load More Replies...Sweeney Todd
Helena (My Chemical Romance Music Video)
I've seen that video so many times it's ridiculous, and I wouldn't know the difference, especially the top pic. Amazing.
Poison Ivy (Batman)
STILL BETTER THAN HER PRINCESS LEA;---BUT STILL LOST UMA THERMAN's FACE!!!!----& NOWHERE AS GREAT AS HER PERFECT LARA CROFT!!!!!!!!!!!
She looks soooo good & sexi in this outfit. Nobody does it better....
You know what I just realized.... this poison ivy looks like a mix of all might with the hair and endeavor for the eyes from my hero academia 😐
Eleven (Stranger Things)
A little too much eye makeup on this one, but you can definitely tell who she's made up as.
She looks cray- cray ( crazy ) but thats the look she was trying to imitate and she did it again! Just too 👍 good! She really needs to get an agent and get calls for any character in any & all 🎥 movies, television, etc. She needs to put her talent and looks to better use and better pay if she hasent been noticed before I'm sure she is now. They would be stupid to pass her ☝ up! Come on already, sign her on the dotted line.....
This ones not too good. Too much makeup to try to get her to look like Millie.
Atlanna, Queen Of Atlantis (Aquaman)
Tony Stark (Iron Man)
LEFT PICTURE PERFECT; can't BELIEVE she scored SO poorly with OTHER commentators!!!!!!!!!!----RIGHT PICTURE -NEAR PERFECT; ---I WOULD GIVE 110 POINTS FOR RIGHT & 130 FOR LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She could of done better on the wrinkles or oldness he carries but other than that Woah!!!
I do agree with @L McN, not even close! Not this time! Especially with that shiny make-up. Looks like she just had plastic surgery done to look more like a man changing over from a woman..... Not attractive nor is it remotely good. I'm kind of a little disappointed bevause I've given most of her other looks an A+ but we can't win em all. She's human so definately prone to make bad choices and this LOOK was a BAD CHOICE! Better Luck Next time.
Arwen (Lord Of The Rings)
David Bowie ("Life On Mars" Music Video)
LEFT PICTURE EXPRESSION off---VERY GOOD!!!!!-----RIGHT PICTURE ALMOST PERFECT; ALMOST AS PERFECT AS #6 "ALBUM-COVER" DAVID BOWIE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Casual Ariel (The Little Mermaid)
WOW...WOW. Is all I can say. She is a beautiful woman and such a talent. If she isn't doing movies, she should be and be getting paid a $$$. I wish I could do even 1 of those lol Very clever indeed.
At first glance I was like, not another cosplayer... but I don't regret clicking on this! 10/10 skillz
Wow ... just wow. This is some amazing cosplay I have seen. What I loved about Alyson's cosplay is that unlike many other female cosplayers out there she is refraining from showing too much skin and sticking to the true image of the character. I am still in awe how much good work this is.
I wonder if she uses face prosthetics or if it's just makeup and shading (not that either one of those is bad)?
I would love to see a cosplayer go for Bowie's "Screaming Lord Byron" look from the Blue Jean video, with the frosted tips and the creative facial contouring. It was amazing to see that look back in the day. Nothing against Ziggy, but Bowie had other looks that were equally interesting.
