A large part of our experience on the internet involves separating the wheat from the chaff: the truth from fiction and facts from lies. We’re constantly thinking, evaluating, and analyzing the information we read, see, and hear, even if we’re not always consciously aware of this.
Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen the rise of ridiculous conspiracy theories like the debunked link between 5G and Covid-19. Nonetheless, various conspiracies, big and small, continue to fascinate people. A simple fact that some people might forget, however, is that some conspiracy theories turn out to be true. And at that point, they simply become… theories.
Reddit users shared their opinions on some conspiracy theories that they personally think are “too logical to ignore.” We’ve collected the most interesting speculations to share with you, Pandas. Have a read, have a think, and let us know in the comments what you think about all these theories.
Bored Panda reached out to Steven Wooding for a chat about conspiracy theories. He is a member of the Insitute of Physics in the UK, as well as a member of the Omni Calculator Project that creates things like the Weird Units Converter. Steven told Bored Panda that the first step anyone should take when evaluating a theory is to check out fact-checking services. "I can recommend PolitiFact.com and FactCheck.org," he said, adding that right here is a nice list of additional fact-checking websites.
"I think that while reading the news every day, we should never forget that the world is a complicated place. The events that occur are usually the result of multiple processes rather than a single cause," Steven said. Scroll down for the rest of his insights and why we should be suspicious of theories that focus only on a single cause for something.
Remember, just because something sounds logical doesn’t make it true. On the flip side, something that sounds weird isn’t automatically false. And above all, take everything that you read on the internet with a grain of salt. Do your due diligence and double-check any and all facts that sound iffy to you, no matter where you might find them.

The true conspiracies are right in front of our eyes. The extent of corporate control over the democratic process is no secret but we’re all too busy debating the moon landing, flatearthers and anti-vaxxers.
I was just talking to my mother the other day about how tired I am of everyone going around in circles debating the same crap while we ignore the enormous looming problems coming our way. Not that things like vaccinations and abortion aren't very important issues, but they're a distraction from topics like the stripping away of voting rights and the fact that we aren't doing enough about climate change. Those are what's going to destroy us if we don't WAKE UP.
Load More Replies...I wouldn’t agree we are totally in aware. The question is whether we can actually do anything about it.
Yeah we can't really so we all just kinda have to deal with the depressing reality
Load More Replies...only part of the full story. It's extreme capitalism which manipulates the world. Why are we using combustion engines? They're ancient technology pre-dating computers, rockets, jets, microwave ovens and phones. Oil is black gold and global warming gets in the way of profit.
There was this project for a gigantic solar Park in north Afrika and how the electricity should have been delivered to Europe. Next thing Happening is the Arabic Spring in Northern Africa and we never heard of the project again and still buy oil and Gas from Saudi Arabia and Russia etc.
Steven told Bored Panda the type of interpretation of reality that recognizes only a single cause as a factor in political, social, or historical change is known as monocausal. Reality is often more complex.
"If a theory explaining an aspect of reality has monocausal tendencies (or even shamelessly presents itself as monocausal), it is highly likely to be wrong. We should develop a habit of thinking about this every time we hear a theory supposed to explain some 'hidden truth' to us. Then, if you think to yourself, 'Wow, that sounds pretty monocausal!'—it's a sign you should do your research."
Steven believes that people's fascination with conspiracy theories has to do with the desire for simplicity and clarity in an overly-complex, often-muddled world. "The world is complicated: many processes are going on that we don't have time to follow, don't have the knowledge to explore, don't have an awareness of their existence. Conspiracy theories are usually simple: in their worldview, one cause determines everything (the world is ruled by lizard people, etc.)," he explained.
That civilizations have risen and fallen far earlier than we currently are aware. And that ancient civilizations were way more capable than we give them credit for.
Ancient civilizations were just as smart as us. Idk why people act like they were apes. Industrialization and colonialism spread knowledge and technology across the world and made humanity seem collectively advanced. If we had no way of reaching one another some nations would still be far behind. It could be that some civilizations had a similar breakthrough in science but died out before preserving or spreading that knowledge.
Without the people in the past's smarts, we wouldn't have technology today most likely.

Load More Replies...History Channel "Aliens may have built the pyramids". Historians "Ancient people were very smart and used physics to..." "No, it was aliens". "What?"
Ancient physicists were the ones who laid the foundation for modern physics
Load More Replies...Yep, I've thought this for a long time. Modern civilisation dates back around 6000 years and recorded history around 5000 years. Yet humans like us have been knocking around for approximately 300,000 years (even at a conservative estimate). It seems somewhat unbelievable that in all that time we have only reached the level of civilisation once (and that's ignoring ancient myths about advanced people in pre-history and evidence of advanced engineering that's ignored).
I think about it alot. And it is possible that we life in one of the cycles of human civilization where there is some disaster and people almost got extinct, they go through all phases from stone age to modern civilisation like we are now and even much more advanced. Then they starting to care about environment. Start to make everything Eco friendly and decomposable. Every data and knowledge is stored in some computer-like devices. So when a new collapse of civilization comes. there no physical evidence of civilization left in 30-50 thousands years. And we could literally walk on big amount of ancient civilisations data stored in stones. Or it can be stored in diamond of some fancy ring and we never know about it because technology is lost long time ago
How exactly does this idea qualify as a conspiracy theory? Conspiracy Theory: “a belief that some covert but influential organization is responsible for a circumstance or event.”
In every list there are at list five posts that don't belong there
Load More Replies...All anyone needs to do to understand this is to go to one of the ancient cities. Yes. I understand travel is something the privileged do but unlike when I went to Ephesus when I was 21 we now have the internet. Their population was larger than the city I live in now. They had running water and sewage. They understood acoustics that could reach every one of the 20,000'ish person audience without microphones & speakers. The ancient's were more advanced than people even realize but much of their achievements have been lost. Most people don't even know the names of their great grandparents and that's your family.
If someone from any given time frame was brought forward to our current time frame and raised with our modern education - 1) They would be just as intelligent as us 2) They'd be a time traveller
"They present (at least at first) a clear and lucid vision of the world—often based on Manichean [good vs. evil] opposition. They give the false impression of thoroughly understanding and explaining the world in a simple way." Other reasons for the spread of conspiracy theories include teleological thinking, e.g. thinking about the purpose of something rather than its cause. Although Steven doesn't think that the moral aspect (that's the "good vs. evil" part) isn't the core element that explains why conspiracy theories are so popular, there's still a strong correlation between the two.
"Studies prove that people who believe in one conspiracy theory are much more likely to believe in another. In this sense, I think that every conspiracy theory is wrong. They differ only in scale, but they are all part of the same mechanism."
There are theories that many famous female stars who were blacklisted (Megan Fox is a good example) were blacklisted because they refused to sleep with directors and producers.
a friend of mine wanted to start her career in TV, she started with commercials and ended up in a quiz show as an image girl. the very famous quiz presenter used to organize lots of (let's called them) " staff parties " where it was more let's see who he can easily F. First time she went to one of those parties she refused to be "nice" to him and that's where her TV career ended. that was back in the 90s. now she is a happy mum :)
This is not a conspiracy, it has been proven in court. And if you think it started and stopped with Harvey Wieinstein then you choose to be ignorant.
I would agree for most people, but megan fox's acting may have been what blacklisted her.
I can't believe this when so many terrible actors keep getting roles.
Load More Replies...This isnt a conspiracy. We've known this for years. Its literally where "casting couch" jokes come from
Joseph M. Pierre, a professor of psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, told Bored Panda during an earlier interview that conspiracy theorists tend to focus on certain events when twisting the truth for their own purposes.
“It is true that certain historical events do tend to attract conspiracy theories and there is evidence that times of societal upheaval or crisis when people are feeling unsafe and desperate for clarity offer a kind of fertile soil for conspiracy theory beliefs,” he said.
David Miscavige, the chairman of the Church of Scientology definitely murdered his wife and is getting off scott free for it. Him and his wife got into a pretty heated argument in 2007, and she hasn’t been seen since. Lawyers hired by David claim she is still alive and devotes 100% of her time to work at the church of scientology, which is why she hasn’t been seen since August 2007. In 2013, a former member of the church had filed a missing person report that was closed after a few officers had “spoken and seen Mrs.Miscavige”, even though there’s no evidence whatsoever of this meeting. All missing person’s reports now are turned down since this investigation is forever closed.
Leah remini has been trying to bring attention to this for years. She asked where she was at a wedding and was punished by the church until she got out. Now she's followed and threatened
Not only that, but when she asked people at that wedding they would just walk away without saying anything at all. It was bizarre as hell.

I don't doubt it, Scientology is a f*****g cult, I honestly have no clue why anyone would willingly become a part of it

The fashion industry makes too much money from purses to care about making pockets for women easily available
I never understood this idea. I dont think that purses and pockets are incompatible. I want pockets for my hands and phone but I always carry a small backpack for everything else (wallet, keys, sunglasses...)
Yes. I want to put my phone in my pocket so I can feel it ring, but I'm still going to need a handbag for my wallet, deodorant, lip balm and whatever else I feel like lugging with me that day.
Load More Replies...Makes no sense. The businesses selling, for example, jeans don't also make and sell handbags
I don't understand why so many women don't just buy mens pants if they want the pockets. I haven't worn women's pants in about 30 years, simply because I want/need pockets
Partially because of gender roles that tell women and men to never "crossdress". And partially because often mens trousers are too big for women. I also wear all the time "mens" trousers because they are better in any way (pockets, you have non skinny options, no flowery stuff etc). But they are always too big for me.

“Over the past 60 years, the assassination of JFK, the death of Princess Diana, and 9/11 are the most obvious examples of national traumas surrounded by conspiracy theory beliefs. We should acknowledge that many conspiracy theories, like the idea that the Earth is flat, aren’t really based on any kind of obvious traumatic event,” the professor explained to Bored Panda.
“People who believe in conspiracy theories are also often attracted to the Manichean narratives that conspiracy theories offer, involving battles of good and evil pitting against each other in an almost apocalyptic fashion. So, it should come as no surprise that conspiracy theories might sprout up from World War II—a real-life apocalyptic battle between good and evil,” the expert said.
With the number of millionaire/billionaires that are psychopaths or similar, there must be a few super rich serial k***ers out there.
By extension there must be people making money supplying victims in the same way Epstein was supplying girls to the wealthy who wanted to scratch an itch. With the money, power and influence would come governments and intelligence agencies willing to overlook or cover up terrible actions for leverage.
It's pure probability, and *random* probability says it's pretty unlikely that there's 1 and wildly unlikely that there's "a few". That's not accounting for things like Saudi princes and Russian politicians, but it's a straightforward calculation for the random probability.

The art trade. These million dollar art shows/individual pieces that go for insanely high prices are just a way for money laundering
Or for the rich to display their wealth. In any case, it's bullsh*t.

Tax evasion by buying art pieces and storing them in a store in Switzerland is a real thing for sure.
That and tax deductions. Buy a high priced piece of art and donate it to a museum on lease. You still own the art, but you can use it as a deduction. Also, look up the Kiddie Tax. Horrible that we even have to create that rule.
Load More Replies...Off course it is, art is tax free, plus values are going up, so if you invest 5 millions into a picasso and put it in a safe, it might make you 10 millions trough the year, and it wont cost them anything, better than gold.
Are they used for that purpose? Sure, and so are lots of other things...cryptocurrencies, or any property exchange. Is it the sole reason the art trade exists? No.
Overpaying athletes and sports teams should also not be ignored. All of a sudden, all the Middle East billionaires/ dictators/ oppressors happily invest billions in Western football clubs and the governments of these countries are suddenly lenient to human rights abuses, journalist murders, etc.
Just like NFTs were it is blatantly clear the quality of the "art" doesn't matter one jot.
Almost every huge price gotten from art is a collaboration between the artist and the art experts to fleece money from uneducated wealthy people or to help the smart wealthy people "lose" or launder money they won't pay taxes on.
So my dad actually confirmed a popular conspiracy theory.
I told him about the “laundry detergent caps have the full line too high on purpose”, and he told me this was true. He interned at P&G, and they taught him the full line was for “the highest level of cleanliness our product can give”. You can get away with using much less detergent.

that's true, just a pea sized amount from what I've been told. Proper flossing is important too.
Load More Replies...Same with toothpaste. You don't need the long luxurious line of paste filling the brush shown in the ads and on the boxes. A dot the size of a pea is plenty.
They say too much is actually bad for you & your clothes. Makes it harder for your machine to rinse out the suds which can cause dry skin, rashes, allergic reactions depending on skin type
Try washing a load with no detergent and see how clean and odor-free plain water does! Works great.
Meanwhile, Lee McIntyre, a Research Fellow at the Center for Philosophy and History of Science at Boston University, told Bored Panda that when debating conspiracy theorists like Flat Earthers, you should ask them upfront what evidence they think would be enough to prove them wrong.
“I used that question in person at FEIC [Flat Earth International Conference] 2018 and it was very telling. Most of them just said ‘proof’ and I said ‘proof of what?’ They couldn’t be specific. This shows that their beliefs weren’t really based on evidence in the first place,” the expert said how conspiracy theorists tend to think.

New Coke was a way for Coca Cola to switch from real sugar to corn syrup without people noticing.
Switch to the new formula that everyone hates, keep it for a while so that people demand the old one back, then switch it back after enough time has passed that people wouldn't notice the relatively subtle change
Cracked actually had a really interesting article on that. https://www.cracked.com/article_31998_7-ways-coca-colas-cocaine-connection-goes-deeper-than-we-realized.html
Cracked used to have really good articles before they became absolute crap. I forgot that site existed.
Load More Replies...Not only is it sweetened with sugar and has the original flavor, it contains WAY more caffeine than American coke and if I drink a whole one, I get a headache. But I'm not a habitual Coke drinker.
Load More Replies...Except this was thoroughly debunked. Coke had already switched the Corn Syrup prior to New Coke, they had slowly starting swapping out the sugar into a sugar and corn syrup blend back in the 70s, until by the time of New Coke it already had been for 2 years all Corn and not sugar. Further in blind taste test of over 50,000 people, over 90% prefered New Coke when they didnt know which was which for the taste. However New Coke was sweeter and Coke had for years been advertising that they were less sugary and less sweet than Pepsi, but more flavor. The Sweeter one, clashed with that. They lost over $300,000,000 from this, and an exec resigned.
And why would they want to switch to corn syrup? Because it's cheap and unhealthy. The government is trying to keep people poor, so they can pay these companies to do s**t like this, and then junk food is all anyone can afford, so now everyone's unhealthy and no one can fight back
And now they are so used to it that Coke overseas isn't sweet enough for many US-Americans. Saw them put additional sugar into the bottles. On two occasions.
Not quite. In blind taste tests Pepsi would win because it was sweeter, so Coco Cola invented the new formula to match. But actual coke buyers expected coke to taste like coke not a second rate copy of Pepsi so it bombed badly at retail.
"But your Majesty, she is a commoner! Her Slurm will taste foul!" "Yes, which is why we'll market it as New Slurm! Then when everyone hates it we'll bring back Slurm Classic, and make billions! HAHAHAHAH!"

They aren’t pretending,” McIntyre told Bored Panda.
I quite like the missing cosmonauts theory. It's unlikely but seems like it could have been possible. It boils down to the idea that Yuri Gagarin wasn't the first man in space. He was just the first man in space to survive the entire process.
Quite likely, but at least one of the more famous "missing cosmonauts" was a hoax. There were supposedly audio recordings of a female cosmonaut burning up after a malfunction on their ship but it was found to be (iirc) an Italian woman faking the recording for a radio station.
I always wondered about that cos she didn't sound as in distress as I'd think she would have been if it were real. Like, burning up you wouldn't be able to speak words and total fear would take over.
Load More Replies...Normally I would say the USSR covering something up is entirely plausible but they announced Yuri Gagarin had launched while he was still in space. Logically if they'd launched anyone before him they'd have done the same thing and then seriously regretted it when the person died. Launch and re-entry are the two most dangerous points so it's possible previous cosmonauts got exploded on the launch pad and that was covered up but if any of them had made it into space, we'd likely know just as we know about Vladimir Komarov.
They may have outwaited some critical points in Gagarin's flight also, ... like, last stage has ignited successfully, so, now not much can go wrong anymore, we'll announce. Something like that. The dogs, however, weren't that likely to survive the first few times. Everyone who survived their trip, were retired and spoiled afterwards as pets of the people working on the cosmic flight programs ... which sounds a lot more caring than the USSR as a whole was - an uncaring system of petrified ideas, a caricature derived from a great idea that has never been honestly tried, but always just ... anyway, not the point here. Korolyow himself just got out of prison because no one else could do it, and when he died, ... it all went downhill anyway...
Load More Replies...Vladimir Ilyushin is rumoured to have been the first man into space and return alive, however, his re-entry went awry, and he landed in China. Thus, it was an embarrassment, so they claimed he'd been in a car crash-- the story kept changing. And they then said that Yuri was the first, because his launch and re-entry went perfectly. Fascinating read if you're interested.
So if the earth is flat where does it begin and end and why don't the oceans empty and why hasn't anyone/thing fallen off?
Because the earth only is flat in a theoretical room made up of nonlinear basic directions. In a linear room, in any orthonormal system, it is a mere sphere, a bit flattened due to rotation and being in hydrostatic equilibrium.

The FBI murdered Dr. Martin Luther King. Too much evidence to ignore
Yeah, that's because murdered is like a male nipple and killed like a female nipple. Americans.... sigh.
Load More Replies...I wouldn't be shocked if that were true. Didn't they cover up Marsha P. Johnson's murder too, or am I thinking of something else?
Aussie here. I remember reading about it in a thriller novel about the FBI, a few years ago. I was shocked! *insert shocked pikachu face*. I asked an American friend what she thought about it, and she said "oh yes, it's well-known". Apparently, MLK had so much support with his civil rights movement, that the government were terrified that he'd run for President and win. America could not handle a black President back in the '60s.
There are plenty of records of the FBI and CIA hating Dr. King. They illegally spied on him and recorded his every move. They made many moves against him. This is one conspiracy that I can admit is somewhat likely, and I consider myself skeptical.
Load More Replies...I'm of the opinion that any public figure that starts a positive movement for change and improving people's lives are usually bumped off. The bad people always seem to survive happily and cause chaos
I’m sorry, was this supposed to be a secret? The FBI and CIA are notorious for killing powerful people. As long as you don’t interfere with the American government or get bigger than it, then you’re good. They will get rid of anyone who becomes too powerful no matter where they live.
Google Maps only asks you for feedback on its navigation when it knows it did a good job.
I use navigation all the time, and I find that when it gets me to the destination on time or earlier than predicted, I get a notification asking to rate the trip. But if it gets me there after it originally estimated, I never get that notification.
It doesn’t ask your feedback because it’s disappointed with your performance 😉

Slightly off topic, but related. Before the corona, when I used to commute to work every single day, and hang out a lot, Google would sometimes notify me of the public transport I should take. So, when I'd stay outside of my living area in the night, it would tell me, for example, which bus I should take and its schedule, in case I want to go back home. So, when we finally got a car (my husband is driving), and we went for a night ride to try it out, Google did its job and sent me the aforementioned notification. And I found it kinda funny, as if my phone was trying to protect me.... from my husband ^^" Later, eventually, it learned it's our car, without me touching any settings. Btw, this function hasn't been active for a long time now. Didn't turn it off myself, but I'm okay with or without it.
That's because the AI has worked out that it's failed to get you there/ on time, and therefore doesn't want your negative feedback. Hardly a conspiracy.
Well, yeah - if it took MUCH longer, it was obviosuly not the best route. No feedback needed. The feedback is just data that is used to provide a better service.
Google has never asked me for a rating. Probably because it's usually off by a house or so, sometimes more. In our country, the street house/complex/building number is the generic registered address, usually starting on a random end of the property and NOT where the actual entrance is. Very frustrating with large complexes, or large properties
“Conspiracy theories have been around since Nero in the Roman Empire. They pop up in times of turmoil or mass unrest when people try to make sense of the world, but can’t. Flat Earth is in some ways just a run-of-the-mill conspiracy theory. They’ve all grown in popularity because beliefs (even fringe beliefs) are reinforced by peer approval, and that is now readily available on the internet. Virtually all of the flat earthers I met were converted based on Youtube videos. Some then went to the conferences. After that, they were ‘down the rabbit hole.'”
That conspiracy theory’s is a term made up by the government to make true things that happen look dumb.
More plausible it would be say that the mainaintaining of the consipracy theories are keeping people on focusing into fictional problems that focusing real problems like pretty f*cd up US healthcare system, wages, long work-weeks and lack of vacations..
I'm not sure the government really has control over terms in the English language that people use on the streets. I mean if they did than the term would be some weird acronym like CIPCUW (crazy ideas people come up with).
Conspiracy theory is a completely normal non-pejorative phrase. Let me break it down for you, since you obviously don't understand english. "Conspiracy", from latin "con" together, aspirare, to aspire or hope. To sit together and plan. "Theory". From greek theoria, meaning theory, idea, concept. So, it JUST means a theory or idea, that some people have got together, to plan something. That's it. That's all. It doesn't mean "idiotic idea dreamt up by idiots." That may well be true, but that's not the primary meaning.
con·spir·a·cy /kənˈspirəsē/ Learn to pronounce noun a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful. the·o·ry /ˈTHirē/ Learn to pronounce noun a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained.
Umm.. which government? You know there is more than one government in the world, and they rarely see eye to eye about the same thing, without huge numbers of meetings and thousands of aides? ha ha ha
Was December 6 2020 a conspiracy theory - guess you can bury a dead person killed by a theory made by a mad man!
Put a more succinct way; it was a term coined by the CIA to discredit people that questioned their dodgy tactics.
They didn't make up the term, they just used it in a sneering, mocking way to make everyone roll their eyes at conspiracy theorists. It's something that people have always done, take a word that is neither positive or negative, then make it negative and offensive. Just look at the words 'f****t' and 'spastic', completely innocent words, until people started using them in a derogative way.
This one is small and local but still too insane to ignore and just came up today.
Just recently, our small suburban town’s favorite gas station went out of business. Everyone went there, the guy who ran it was the mayor. He retires and sells the property after an issue with the ground underneath the gas pumps. They tear down the gas pumps and keep the garage, Mavis Tire bought the property and opened a new store.
A few days after the Mavis opens, someone posts a picture on Facebook of an intersection at a road near it with nails all over the road. The guy theroizies that a box of nails fell off of a construction truck. The police come clean it up and it seems all is well. Fast forward a few days later and people are commenting on the post that they’re finding nails in their car tires. Not just from that intersection. People jokingly say “maybe it was the new Mavis guys throwing nails around” but nothing really happens.
Several weeks later, people have been posting day in and day out pictures of nails in their car tires. My dad took my car in to the Mavis in question about 3 weeks ago and they found a nail inside of the right front tire. I noticed that it was driving sort of funny but never that my tire was on the verge of exploding.
I jokingly said “people have been saying you guys have just been going around throwing nails all over the place” trying not to laugh at how insane it sounded to say out loud. The guy behind the counter said nothing but “yeah” with a weird smirk.
Over 50 people have posted on the town Facebook that their cars have had nails in their tires. My mom is driving my car now because her car has a nail in the tire.
This is really f****d up, people could get hurt or even killed, and all because some dipshit wanted to make some extra cash
If we've learned anything from the pandemic, it's that at least half of the world's population doesn't care at all about others, especially if there's money in it as a reward for not caring.
Load More Replies...This happened to my Dad. He had to get new tires for land cruiser, this happened in a remote area in the highlands of Fiji, so one place he could get them fixed. Then it happened again that afternoon. After getting it fixed again, he had a good look at the stretch of road, and there were bananas with massive nails in them. He hid out on the side of the road and sure enough, some kids came back and he caught them putting more banana nails down. He grabbed one of them, and they quickly confessed to the local garbage paying them.
I love the typo (I'm assuming autocorrect had a hand in this!) Garbage for garage. Definitely accurate! 👍👍👍
Load More Replies...Would not be the first time. We had a tire place school their employees to tell customers they had a bulging tire, but could never produce the bulging area, just hoping nobody would ask to actually see the bulge. I loathe businesses like this, to me it’s the worst, taking advantage of hard working people who have little money to spare. The business in our town went out of business once word got out. Fortunately there were other tire shops who didn’t take advantage of their customers
Fixing nail holes in tires is easy and cheap. Like it costs zero to three dollars per nail.
Surely it would boil down to the type of tyre too? Genuinely asking, I know next to less than nothing about cars lol
Load More Replies...Sorry. Not aware of this US brand. I just thought this was just some ex-dinner lady (school canteen assistant,) who had opened up a tyre shop. Quite a lot of them were called Mavis back in the 70s.
Money makes the world go around - even if you have to kill unwitting people but they don't think they just killed a potential customer! I have a name for people like this they are hemorrhoids not assholes. Assholes have a productive use!
1.) Kennedy gets elected
2.) Kennedy is critical of the CIA, his own VP and military for wanting to turn the cold war into a hot one and the willingness to perform false flag operations (Project Northwoods) to do it.
3.) Kennedy is shot
4.) His VP takes power
5.) [Classified]
I'm not saying this is true, but I will say that if you think our rulers have not killed to protect economic or ideological interests, then you might be a little naive.
So your logic is that, he was killed so that they could make 'the cold war into a hot one', then once he was dead... didn't??? I'd try again. There was a conspiracy there, just not the one you are looking for.

This is the theory I believe, he would have survived the first shot if not for the idiot behind him
Load More Replies...Nah. Otherwise there would be many more presidents who were assassinated, including Obama.
In my opinion Lee Harvey Oswald was not bright enough to do this on his own - would he have even been where he was if the bulletproof bubble had not been removed. He had to know!
i honestly believe this. the primary reason is bc lbj's behavior on air force one is absolutely shameful (though on the other hand, it fits his reputation.) there's a picture of him after being inaugurated and a government official seems to be winking at him *while jackie kennedy stands there with her husband's blood still on her coat.*
According to the expert, conspiracy theories can go viral and ‘infect’ new people. “It’s important to remember that these pathologies of human reasoning exist not just to defend themselves but to proselytize new members. They are virulent. They are infectious. I wish Flat Earth were the worst of them, but it isn’t. It’s the scourge of our age. And it will only continue to get worse.”
The media is manipulated by the governments so they can teach us what to think, feel & believe.
It's somewhere between political narratives driving the media, and media audiences looking for something to be mad about. Whether or not the government is controlling the media is irrelevant. It's the same result: the media sells information that people want to believe. Whether it's true or not. And the the government leverages this response to maintain voters
Load More Replies...More accurate is that the media is controlled by the wealthy people that own those media outlets. And they in turn control governments by funding the politicians campaigns.
In america. Not really true here where we have private channels and public channels. Public channels publish government content and private channels publish mostly american content.
Load More Replies...Nah, it's the other way around. Rupert Murdoch is worth billions - he can literally buy governments.
"The media is manipulated by the RICH so they can teach us what to think, feel & believe." Fixed that for you
Don't be an idiot. Specifically in USA where your media companies are mega rich corporations. In capitalist america, government not manipulate media, media manipulate government. HOWEVER this is obviously true in countries with (a) state TV - because THAT IS WHAT STATE TV MEANS, and (b) countries with dictatorships. I mean, duh.
This situation is different in every country, some countries is not so much a conspiracy but a statement of fact, it's no secret that Kim Jong-Un controls the media in N.Korea, while in the US It's hard not to see how media channels like Fox news is designed to support one political side more than the other. Over here in the UK, BBC news favours an established way of doing things and will attack anything that they see deviating from that path, be it left or right wing.
Media is s**t now. each media just try to push their agenda whatever the side they're on. they're all cheerleaders. you can't trust media now.
internet is media. youtube is media. Twitter is media. facebook is media. Boredpanda is media. What specificially are you claiming is unreliable?

Princess Diana car crash wasn't "accidental ". I truly believe P.Philip hired someone to get rid of her and have a feeling that when him, Elisabeth and Charles die some very secret conversations, emails ecc will come out.
Medelaine McCann was accidentally k**led by her parents. I don't believe they intended to do it but I do believe they covered it up and once the press ecc arrived they seen an opportunity to make money out of the situation.
It was 1996. I doubt the royal family was using emails then. Leave the McCanns alone. You and all the other arseholes.
Not murderers but definitely neglectful parents....cannot argue that point!
Load More Replies...I've never believed the Diana murder scenario. She made the wrong decision to get into a car, driven by an intoxicated guy and paid the ultimate price. She herself, had been out for the evening (and as we all know) alcohol alters our judgment and that's all there was to it.
Yeah they were speeding too. I do think the paparazzi have a hand in it bc they were chasing them and they're recklessly intrusive still to this day.
Load More Replies...If Diana was bumped off because she made the royals look bad, broke protocol or whatever then how the f**k is Andrew still going?
Well he’s not after an hour or so ago hahaha. But your point stands
Load More Replies...Prince Philip and Diana were very close to each other. As for the McCanns I'm with Oopsdaisy - you're an idiot for even suggesting it.
There's no logic at all behind either of these. Diana was treated poorly by the Royal Family, yes, but it was her own bad decisions about getting into that car with a drunk driver, and then the paparazzi following them that killed her. Drunk driver + deliberately driving dangerously = perfect recipe for a horrific crash. How perfect for the media to be able to point theories at the Royal Family so that people don't stop to think about the role of paparazzi - who make the media billions - and how frankly sick it is to allow legal stalking for profit. As for the other one, there's no evidence at all that Madeleine's parents are guilty of anything but gross negligence.
Firstly. Spell the names of the people you are accusing correctly ffs. Secondly. Photographers ahead of the car with their flashes directly in the eyes of the driver, killed Diana. One of the published photos shows the driver and passenger clearly trying to shield their eyes from the blinding flashes. Thirdly. Unless you have actual evidence, how dare you accuse grieving parents of killing their child. You really think they would have kept the media circus going for as long as they have done if they had killed her? It would made more sense to lay low until it all blew over. But they have spent every penny in trying to find out what happened to her, so your 'theory' makes no sense and is very offensive.
If there was a conspiracy to end the life of Princess Di, I'm highly doubtful that this was the plan.
I doubt the Princess theory. Her driver was pissed and she wasn't wearing a seatbelt. If that hadn't been a Princess who would doubt it? Police scrape up accident victims like this every day
The most shocking part of your statement is that you think Philip, Liz and Chuck knew what email was in 1997.
The anti vaccine movement was actually started to k*ll off people stupid enough to not get inoculated against deadly disease, thus strengthening the gene pool.
Nope, people are just plain stupid. This doesn't explain other stupid conspiracy theories like flat earth and QAnon.
Yeah I'm betting on the stupidity of people rather than a conspiracy to kill off stupid people. I mean our politicians are equivalent to kids throwing sand at each other in a sandbox. I used to think when I was young politics were so adult I wouldn't understand but man I was so wrong. I would've understood politics better in kindergarten
Load More Replies...No i think it is working! I believe after all this is over the global IQ will be a lot higher!

Anti Vaxxers are just plain stupid....and nature will deal them their cards accordingly....
What this conspiracy theory forgets is that this is a worldwide disease. Are they claiming every world government came together to kill off their populations?
Not really. Because it's mainly their kids that are impacted. Which seems a bit unfair.
so it's unfair to pass stupid beliefs down to your children... yes. Anyone who's sensible would agree to that. BUT...

9/11 was allowed to happen so the government could go ahead with political agendas that would've been very unpopular otherwise. There were all kinds of advanced warnings that an attack was imminent, yet they were ignored.
The attack allowed for the invasion and never-ending occupation of the Middle East, as well as the Patriot Act that allows for increased spying by the government (and was passed only about a month after 9/11).
I think a conspiracy that big and that devastating would be pretty hard to keep a lid on. I think more likely it comes down to petty bureaucrats within the FBI, CIA and DIA all hiding info from one another to gain traction with politicians who control their budgets.
Makes more sense than the one that says that it was actually planned and executed by American government which I find extreme! It is indeed very weird how USA was so unprepared for an attack like this but still this conspiracy makes me feel sick to my stomach! Can't imagine they would sacrifice all those lives just to go with their agenda! It's sick!!
Load More Replies...I don’t know about this one. Sometimes government keeps ignoring things because they are simply stupid. In the Netherlands, they found a huge gas bubble in the soil, somewhere in the sixties. Even then, a number of geologists warned the government that extracting all that gas would lead to earthquakes and sagging of the soil, with broken and damaged houses as a result. No one listened. Fast forward to 2022. The sagging of the soil and the earthquakes are routine. Government kept ignoring it till they couldn’t and there have been plans to compensate the people for many many years, but of course nothing substantial. They keep dragging the problem around and hoping it will maybe disappear on itself? Anyway nothing is being done.
I know the dilemma. Either I believe my country ignored the warnings because they are stupid and incompetent, or corrupt and evil. Both kind of suck, and I think it's a shitty combo meal that is hard to choke down.
Load More Replies...I do not believe that one. To cover up something would be enough to do a lot less damage a lot easier, making similar shocking impact. I agree there were warnings but it's like person who never saw fire being told what lighter is - nobody could imagine such thing happening as it seemed too far fetched. Oh and war and occupation of Middle East started 21 years before that and before this there were numerous local conflicts, I do not think anyone needed 3000 people to die and two towers in center of city to fall in order to invade what's already invaded.
Bush ignored an intelligence report he received that indicated an imminent attack on the US -- he was too busy clearing brush at his ranch in August 2001. I hate to say it, but as a result a lot of New Yorkers believe this theory to be true - including myself (and I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any means).
No no no no no. Did you know that the attack on Pearl Harbor was not a surprise?? Yet the government will tell you it was. The only conspiracy theory regarding 9/11 was that Sadam Huessein was responsible. I do believe Pat Tillman was killed intentionally by friendly fire. RIP Pat Tillman.
The accuastion against Saddam was he had WMD. Not that he had to do with 911. It was a pretext however to go looking for his alleged WMD.

A SF take on the ancient classic? It could work quite well thinking about it.

I was wondering the same!! For sure there was no Google back then
Load More Replies...Like the biggest issue with Walt Disney is him being frozen, I think the blatant racism in some of the animated film would warrant a cover-up if anything would!
It was a less enlightened time as a whole when a lot of the early cartoons were made. Luckily most of the blatant stuff and even the more subtle things were discontinued and redacted over the years.

Load More Replies...As mentioned, searches for Disney's frozen body/head are still readily available, but what makes this even sillier is Frozen began its production as an adaptation of The Snow Queen by Disney himself but was shelved due to the war & difficulties adapting it to the screen. Now it COULD be theorized it was revived solely to hide the rumors but again, they aren't hidden.
There is a giant money laundering cycle driven by the sale of paintings. It’s just a piece of canvas with some paint on it. I may understand some people would be willing to buy paintings from the renaissance, but modern art is definitely a huge money laundering instrument.
A well executed painting is not just a piece of canvas with some paint on it. It takes real skill and talent. Modern art will be "un-modern" in time so that's bs as well. Maybe art as a whole is used to launder money but so is housing, cars, and even businesses.
you're right, though they probably mean 'contemporary art', 'modern art' is roughly up until the 70s. also it seems the poster probably doesn't like art in general, some people are just like that..
Load More Replies..."Just pieces of canvas" " JUST paint!?" Only someone who's never tried their hand at painting, like actual oil painting, would ever just call a masterpiece that took the artist many, many years of trial and error, learning and practicing to understand contrast values, light and shadow compositions, depth perception, angles, movements, colour matching, mood creating, no one NO ONE who's EVER really painted would call it "JUST paint on a piece of canvas."
I'm pretty sure the guy who bought "Fountain" was blind.
Load More Replies...I was just explaining to my son why art can be so expensive. It's all PERCEIVED value. There is nothing intrinsically valuable about art; it's how it is perceived by others.
True, but! A painting is not mass-produced, meaning, it's a unique object, 1 in the whole world. No identical copies. Sure, there are prints, but they are technically a different object, because they don't contain the exact painting materials used to produce the original. So, there is indeed SOME intrinsic value to it.
Load More Replies...Is it any different than investing in gold? If I had the extra money I'd invest in tangible assets just to have a non cash, non credit way of retaining capital
Its very bold of you to say a painting is just canvas wih some paint. Thats hugely ignorant. The money loundering point however is true, expensive art also is often used as payment in illegal transactions like weapons, drugs etc. Art doesn't lose its value, doesn't leave a trace, and can be cashed annonymously.
One of Turkey's most famous painters (Bedri Baykam) sold a piece of his "art works" named Empty Canvas for 125,000$. It's just a frame. An empty, wooden effin frame.. So there it is.
Yeah but if it looks nice and they can afford it and it's not harming anyone then they could defo buy it

The whole aliens in area 51 thing was to cover up the fact it's actually a military test facility. The gov would rather have alien bs about that place than have other governments steal or sell their weapons and tech to avoid another war. Pretty smart imo.
i always think it was just a story to hide the fact it's a weapon design test facility.
Keep the serious threats away by having the loopy idea of aliens. Probably bio warfare or a similarly dubious venture

All military facilities hide secrets. That's their nature. To hide stuff from the perceived "enemy" and general public. Area 51 is no different and is just another base.
The government has always said that it's a test facility that's the story they put out
Saturated fats and cholesterol aren't particularly bad for you, but a very politically aggressive and ethically deficient scientist named Ancel Keyes staked his career on the idea that they were, published studies with egregiously poor methodology (In his landmark Seven Countries study, he specifically picked those countries which best supported his aims while ignoring those countries that didn't) and waged a very aggressive campaign to destroy the careers of detractors (Famously Dr. John Yudkin-- who wrote "Pure, White and Deadly", a book on the dangers of dietary sugar).
Today, scientific nutritional authorities continue to drag their feet on revising the conventional medical wisdom due to the erosion to their own authority that this would represent.
Ancel Keyes was more singularly responsible for obesity in the US than any other person.
Wait wait……this is a complicated story and definitely needs some citations 😬
This one isn't a conspiracy theory, so much as well documented fact. Easily found on Google, and I seem to remember 'Adam ruins everything' doing an episode on it, if you want a quick and easy version
Load More Replies...Everything that's edible can be either good or bad for you. Depends on how your body is designed. What's healthy for me, can be harmful for someone else and vice versa. That's why it's important to know yourself on a biological/medical level, and then choose your food accordingly (if you have a choice).
The main problem these days are the trans-fats. If you see " hydrogenated vegetable oil" in the ingredients, this contains trans fatty acids which afaik don't exist in nature so when you eat them, your body can't use them so they just sit there. Hopefully not in your arteries.
Exactly smugdruggler. What I try to do is eat naturally. Butter and olive oil !
Load More Replies...This is dependent on your genetic makeup tho too... you can be skinny and fit, eat healthy, and still have high cholesterol, which can destroy your liver, etc..
Yep. I have a healthy lifestyle, BMI, exercise regularly, eat healthy, and still have to watch my cholesterol. Thanks genetics.
Load More Replies...Pigs in the 50s were fatty, chickens were scrawny. Then someone decided that we wanted/needed leaner pork and bigger chickens, and made farmers breed them that way. Now, we are the fat pigs because our diets have less fatty cuts of meat, and we are adding artificial fat to get the flavor that used to be natural. And the poor chickens get to market in SIX WEEKS FROM HATCHING. Pure profit at their clucking expense.
I think the guy that eats fast food for every meal has some responsibility for his obesity.
Umm.. This is knowledge about fats etc is already common knowledge - or so I thought. They've already proven that you need some fats in your diet and not all cholesterol is bad for you.
That the US knowingly left POWs behind in Vietnam.
There's no way they didn't. The government doesn't actually care about the army or it's veterans. They just pretend they do so they can get more kids to join so they can die for some worthless war that they started in the first place, and when they do make it out alive what to they get? Money? A few benefits? A "Thank you for your service" and a free meal from some shitty diner? How the Hell is that compensation for the things they've seen and lost? And for what? Everyone just keeps the wars going, it's like some sort of sick game all the politicians play with each other, we're all just pawns

That intelligent humans and advanced societies existed before the last Ice age.
Depends. Australopithecus and H. Habilis might have been very intelligent. But for sure they didnt have very technologically advanced societies or we would have found their tech by now. You cant hide big cities, agriculture or other big changes in the landscape.
In 4 million years though? How much will be left of us in 4 million years?
Load More Replies...Depending on your definition of "advanced societies", the first one was formed 5 to 7,000 years ago. I'm talking about the Sumerians.
There are older ones. Once agriculture took off, larger societies of greater complexity began to emerge. Human intelligence has been the hallmark of our genus. But prior to about 12Kya, there were no "societies", just bands of hunters and gathers who were most likely, non-stationary (ie they moved around and didn't stay in one place for very long). But there's no reason to believe that they weren't as intelligent as we are now. Modern humans have a been around for ~250K years. There's no evidence to suggest we're any smarter now than 250Kya.
Load More Replies...Intelligent humans, yes - advanced societies, no. I know it's appealing but Atlantis and the like are just stories, made up allegorical devices to entertain and teach.
Of course. Many are simply limited to the tools of their time but that doesn't mean that they didn't have resources or ingenuity. Civilizations would not have advanced as far as it did. Likewise that remains true of our current civilization. The only difference so far as that we are plundering the resources of this world. There is this theory that ours is the civilization that is the last advancing one because of what we have done. By the time we die out, we'll have used too much of this planet so if another race crawls out, the farm age may be as far as they will be able to get.
(fun fact, the last age never ended, but it might soon, because ice age is defined as when there are permanent ice caps at both ends of the world)
Psychedelics are only illegal because they liberate from the consumerism narrative.
Maybe but there's also the fact you can fall over, not be as alert and stuff, which isn't great when in public.
a therapeutic psychedelic "journey" is not like being drunk. it usually takes place in private with a "sitter" to help you process. in a clinical scenario you would be lying down wearing an eye mask with headphones playing music. it is an inward experience of connection and healing that helps people.
Load More Replies...I'm a psychedelic researcher (yes it's my job and I get paid to do it), and I have some insight on this. Actually, psychedelics were made illegal because the CIA was trying to develop them into mind control drugs. At the same time they were criminalized the CIA was given *sole* rights to research psychedelics, and that lasted for decades.
Here's an idea, decriminalize all personal drug use. Make people responsible for their own crap. It worked for Portugal. Instead, drug users were provided with therapy rather than prison sentences. Research found that in the five years after the start of decriminalization, illegal drug use by teenagers had declined, the rate of HIV infections among drug users had dropped, deaths related to heroin and similar drugs had been cut by more than half, and the number of people seeking treatment for drug addiction had doubled. Making all of it a crime is where the problems start.
And yet prescription drugs, cigarettes and alcohol are perfectly legal. That is food for thought.
LSD is a huge love for me, I had prescriptions for years and they made me distorted and prolonged my trauma etc. I remember one ‘anti psychotic’ drug made me paranoid (I’m not a paranoid person) I was standing on a balcony of a hotel I grew up in, and flipped out thinking the balcony was gonna fall off and we’d all die. So bad 😂 so I did acid a few times, heavy then sparingly, and never mixed it with other drugs or alcohol. My mindset has been amazing for the past 14 years, no relapses etc. I only did it for the one year and I’ve been so fine and mentally good ever since. I still attribute it (LSD) to the internal re- wiring of my whole being.

Nonsense. They'll make heaps more. Who do you think will be producing them for therapeutic purposes?
Load More Replies...No, they are illegal because they mess up with your brain and can cause you to get yourself (or someone) else killed by accident. This "conspiracy" is just a desperate attempt by junkies to justify their addiction.
Then why is alcohol and nicotine legal? More addictive and harmful than any of the psychedelics.

McDonald's shake machines are never actually down, the night crew people are just too lazy to clean it
Used to be McDonalds crew and there are two things that'd knock it out of order. 1. The syrup needs changing. To change the syrup you need to open a pressurised container and get it in and out of a tangle of syrup lines, if one pops off it's a couple of hours cleaning. Only certain staff are trained to change out syrups and you never wanna do it during a rush as people will trip over you. 2. The shake mix ran out and you're either waiting for someone to get out the ladder to top it up, or its been topped up and your waiting for it to reach temp, takes around 45 mins. That whole machine is disassembled and cleaned every night, all removable bits left in sterilising solution over night and reassembled in the morning. That cleaning involves various runs of boiling water and cleaning solutions being run through the lines. This is in the UK.
Thought it was also because McDonald's restricts who is allowed to fix those machines as well. Since most McDs are franchised, they have to wait for a specific repair person instead of just hiring anyone that can do it. Same issue with iPhones.
Load More Replies...The employees have to be trained to clean them and the responsibility falls onto the supervisor or manager. Those guys are usually working in the day when it's too busy. But some employees will just say it's down just because they don't want to use the clunky, fussy things. A better conspiracy I heard is the ice cream and shakes are not made with dairy, and are made with sawdust. I discovered it's not dairy after I decided I really wanted a shake despite being lactose intolerant. It didn't give me an upset stomach or indigestion like, say, Dairy Queen.
Nope not true! Go to YouTube look up food theorist McDonalds ice cream machines
You mean they Clean it? I hear its to involved for mere mortal to do!
It's well known that they just say it's down because it's extremely difficult to clean, and the shake mix takes too long to freeze.
My favorite one is that UFOs are just us in the way distant future time traveling. We probably developed some sort of cloaking device so we never see them except for when it malfunctions.
my teacher had a theory about this when someone started talking about aliens in class one day. he said that the way that they "time travelled" is by them being able to travel faster than light, using Einstein's theory of relativity, which would allow them to travel back in time, to our age. And the reason why they would want to do this is because there might be some sort of plague/pandemic which they can't seem to get rid of, and they need to figure out what went wrong, and that's why aliens abduct humans/cows. Needless to say, he was an interesting teacher, he actually didn't teach any conspiracies or force it upon people, and before he explained that theory, he said "IF aliens do exist"
Some "UFO" sightings are military drones the public doesn't know about yet. Technology available to the public is 10-20 year old military tech. Look up the Pegasus Drone, Which is essentially invisible. it would certainly look odd to the average Person
I always thought that if we *could* travel faster than light then theoretically we could catch up to the light that had left earth at whatever time period, and see it so we can see what it reflected off/aka what happened, but I did not think we would be able to change anything as it would just be light that left earth a long time ago?

I think the reason aliens have been here for a long time and haven't killed us yet it's because they like our TV and music
We're a nice place to hide. A good cover. Things only get worse.
Load More Replies...This has been my working theory for years, but there's little to no evidence in UFO reports. You might expect time-travelling tourists to visit places that become historically interesting relatively soon after, but I don't see that happening.
The only reason apple took headphone jacks off their phones is because Square was taking money away from Apple Pay
No matter what the reason is, guarantee it’s just about them getting more money.
doesn't need a conspiracy to figure that out though.
Load More Replies...There are 3 main reasons for the removal: First: waterproofing. The less openings the better. The first iPhone sold as water resistant was the 7. The first iPhone sold without a jack? The 7. Second: internally it takes up a lot of space that can be used for more gadgets or larger batteries Third: It saves them money on hardware. All of those plus the market trend showing people are going wireless anyway made them pull the trigger before any other manufacturer, knowing their customer base is loyal and will buy it anyway.
The headphone jack was also the same outlet as the charger, IIRC
Load More Replies...Purchased my iPhone without knowing the lack of Jack. Needless to say I was annoyed. So I bought wireless headphones (the kind with a chord that connects both ears, not separate pods) and charge both my phone and my headphones at the same time on one of those multi-jack chargers. All is well, don't buy the air pods, they're ridiculously expensive.
You can still hand type the cards number, it's just not very convenient
More money is the reason ! But it will never be my money do not and will not own one!
FYI The moon landings were real in fact there were 6 in total and it’s not hard to achieve
Well after the 6th going to the moon wasn't really all that exciting anymore so funding dropped and missions were cancelled.
Load More Replies...Actually it's incredibly hard to do, and it was a magnificent achievement. There were only six because Apollo 13 famously nearly didn't survive, and the funding was pulled for all the scheduled missions after Apollo 17. The entire "space race" was just an extended Cold War d*ck measuring contest, and once it had been well and truly won, there was no more political will to carry on. The fact that the tens of thousands involved managed to achieve something so incredible, and to contribute so much to science in that short time is remarkable beyond all words. In typical fashion, the U.S government had been receiving great criticism for the incredible cost of the Vietnam war, so rather than stop all the killing in a pointless war that was doomed to failure, they decided to end a project that was in full stride and that benefited the whole world, and say "look at the money we're saving".
I like the theory that the moon landings weren't real but were directed by Stanley Kubrick who, famously, was obsessed with realism. So much so that he insisted that they be shot on the moon.
I read an interesting theory that the first moon landing was part real, part construction. So, they did land on the moon and such, but part of it was done in a studio? *Shrugs* I dunno. I try to keep an open mind based on logical evidence on both sides of an argument.
A gaping void in your thought process isn't the same thing as an open mind. It's incredibly easy to find the truth about all of the supposed flaws in the well-documented, and very real, moon landings.

It was, directly or indirectly. It's a well known fact that the power vaccum created by the U.S intervention in Iraq created jihadist groups. Also the Taliban are pretty much entirely America's creation ( its allies and the Pakistan gov at the time are to blame as well). People have a misconception that ISIS is just an Islamic offshoot cult gone rouge, they aren't.
So not an intentional creation, but a result of the conditions established by the US?
Load More Replies...US & their European allies bear a large responsibility for terrorism. Overthrowing governments, killing democratically elected leaders, funding coups all to serve their resources/petroleum needs.
AYO that’s a cover up isis is fighting the country’s the USA doesn’t want to fight in Afghanistan that why they just left Afghanistan and let taliban take over capital
100%! ISIS are not even muslims when will people get that into their heads
Thought this was well known. Every terror group today is the result of US interference in one way or another. They either train them/supply them with Arms until they get too big for their boots and the US bumps them off which creates a vacuum for a terror group to survive and thrive or they are challenged. Prime example for the first point is Saddam Hussein (Taliban formed after the US got rid of him) and to the latter is Ghadafi, He was left alone to do what he wanted for 40 years until he stood up at a G8 (I believe) conference and publicly announced (school boy error) his intention to make the Dinah a direct world competitor to the US Dollar. Few months later, he is declared a bad egg by the US Government, bumped off and Boko Haram are on the rampage.
Mattress firm is a drug cartel or a money laundering company or maybe they’re laundering money for the drug cartels. I don’t know, but whatever it is, they’re up to no good.
There seems to be a mattress store in every strip mall. No way enough people are buying enough mattresses to support them.
My local one never has more than two cars in the parking lot. I drive by there nearly every day.
And have you noticed the owners usually have the flashiest cars that don’t make sense with a store that barley operates 😂

The Allies certainly knew about the Holocaust long before April/May 1945, they never just "happened" upon the camps as they were defeating Nazi Germany. This begs the question on why they never lifted a finger to stop the importations, destroy the rail lines to the camps, etc., but they never did despite them knowing what was going on.
Uhh, the had been lifting their fingers since Dec. 1941. There was just the entire Wehrmacht standing in between them and the camps.
Ah, we have an American happily ignoring the many countries that had already been fighting the Nazis for 2 years by that point, because the USA had a huge number of very rich powerful men that actually quite liked Hitler's ideas. The rest of the world knows WWII started in 1939.
Load More Replies...Many countries refused Jewish refugees entry, including the UK & US. It wasn't politically expedient to allow "foreigners" over our borders. Plus ça change.
Yep, and those borders had barely existed a generation before. In the early 20th century you didn't need a visa to travel most places or settle there.
Load More Replies...You might ask that question about a lot of atrocities that have subsequently been allowed to go unchecked.
This isn't a conspiracy theory. No one cared Jews were being exterminated. The Nazis learned legal discrimination from Jim Crow, and how to gas chamber from the US border in El Paso. We sold them the gas! No one got into the war to protect the lives of Jews/gays, they got into the war because Germany was knocking on the door.
And a lot of other minorities targeted arnt even mentioned. My family was lucky to get to Australia after crappy stupid camp time. But cos my g.grandad was gassed (but survived somehow) we have weird sleep issues, weird flight or fight responses still. most side effects only started getting better after the 3rd gen. I find it weird and interesting there’s after effects so long after these events, mum says the war altered the DNA code to be passed down etc, she explains it better 😂 (Romani)
Load More Replies...FDR turned down pleas for Jews to emigrate from Europe. They were sent back and were murdered by the Third Reich.
Historian here. The explanation is quite simple, yet very sad: Top government officers of the Allies did know about concentration and extermination camps, they just were not fully aware of the magnitude. In particular, Churchill, Stalin and Pope Pius XII certainly knew about the Holocaust. The Vatican was even given reports about it, but the Pope did nothing out of fear for reprisals against Catholics in the occupied territories (I have read letters by Pius XII stating that). Churchill and Stalin did not bomb them because they knew the camps were diverting Nazi resources which otherwise would go to the war. Finally, British Secret Services and the French and Polish resistance tried to assist, they even managed to organize a massive breakout out of Sobibor camp, but they desisted after realizing the German retaliations were brutal.
As an American, I remember learning about why the U.S. never joined because back then they thought "this is Europe's war, therefore we shouldn't get involved". Not until Pearl Harbor happened. Of course everyone forgets that Hawaii used to be an independent country and a monarch. Until the U.S. government selfishly decided they wanted it for themselves.
Russia is pushing global warming because it wants a warm water port, Arctic resources, and better land/ resources in Siberia.
it's not pushing it, but it often blocks and vetoes discussion in global forums especially the unsc so as to prevent sustainable action on the same
Could be, but since Russia's economy is largely dependent on fossil fuels, they have a lot of incentive to halt sustainable policies in that regard as well.
If the ice continues melting in the arctic it will open a route for boats to go from russia to america which will be much shorter for the transit of goods between Europe and America

Trader Joe's makes their parking lots small intentionally to make it seem like it's more popular.
They do not. They are all in shopping centers with scores of other stores in them. They do not own the property, they lease it. The owners control every bit of it, (parking included) and even have a say about the individual stores themselves.
Well, no. Freestanding Trader Joe's are everywhere. They're just so popular that they outgrow reasonable parking lots.

The NFL manipulates it’s games just enough in order to get the best product out of their season because they are a business with billions of dollars on the line.
Like how the one super bowl should have been Chiefs vs Saints but ended up Patriots vs Rams because of bs officiating. It’s no coincidence that Boston and LA would bring in much more money to than Kansas City and New Orleans
That's kind of the reason behind the draft system isn't it? The worst teams have first pick so they get better and the teams are more even meaning better close games.
And Lady Brady didn't win this weekend so now the NFL is looking to change the rules that allowed KC to take the upset. Not rigged at all!

Lemme just say it: "The Meteorite that wiped out the Dinosaurs could be a UFO, and we're are the aliens". Its pretty logical to alien believers. And it's just my favourite, just thought I'd say it.
Definetly no. Mammals are from the Triasic, we are as old as dinosaurs. We just were less successful than them but we existed already. It could be a good idea if mammals originated after the meteor but we are much older.
Wade. Since humans ARE mammals and mammals are as old as dinosaurs it is impossible that humans came from space in the meteor that killed dinosaurs

End of dinosaurs 65 MILLION years. Modern man sometime in the last 100 thousand. Too big a gap for a cause and effect sorry.
Why does it matter where we came from? Shouldn't we be more worried about not wasting our lives?
You poop and make babies like most other animals on this planet ,so probably not.
Since it hit the sea and destroyed a lot of the earth these aliens of your would not have survived. Also there were no people 65 million years ago.
How did we aliens survive the firestorm and tsunamis that occurred as a result. And where were we between 65,000,000 and 100,000 years ago.
Not too far fetched. Humans have caused so many mass extinctions.
That there were two bullets that hit JFK on the fateful day of his assassination. But one of them was an accident by one of the secret service. I heard this theory on a Cracked podcast on YouTube. Story goes like this. Oswald was the only man out to harm JFK, but his bullet did not k*ll him, it severed his spinal cord which would have left him a vegetable. But there are photos of one of the secret servicemen looking behind him and lowering his gun, his finger accidentally pushed the trigger and HIS shot was what k**led JFK. That's why the govt was so secretive with JFK's body and autopsy they covered it up so the secret serviceman wasn't sent death threats and had his life ruined. There's extra evidence too. The night of the assassination LBJ was walking around the outside of the White House and spooked ANOTHER secret serviceman and he was almost shot as well. When speaking about it he made a joke that all the secret service had itchy trigger fingers.
Idk about these things w jfk. All evidence points to one shooter when it's broken down.
The emergency doctors trying to save the president's life had to do a rushed job, they didn't even get to turn the body around, that's why they never found the two entry wounds in the back of Kennedy's head and neck. Dr. Perry, the surgeon on duty, falsely identified the exit wound at the president's neck as an exit wound - which wouldn't have fit a shot from behind by Oswald. Shortly after his death the Secret Service claimed the body. They were so hurried about it they didn't even receive a report from the original surgical team. Perry was being pressed into giving a premature press statement, claiming Kennedy got shot from the front, the professional team of forensic examiners working for the SEcret Service identified the entry wounds in the back and claimed Oswald to be the only shooter - et voilà: ample fertilizer for conspiracy theorists.
Yup, good documentary about this. Witnesses smelling burned gun powder. Makes sense
And because of when it happened most of the people who reported that were veterans so they knew what gunpowder smelled like.

Denver Airport being a fallout shelter for the elite. The fact that it went like a billion over budget and all the symbolism.
Why would they bother with symbolism. I would have thought the 'elites' wouldn't want anyone to know. Also, how will they get them there? In all likelihood, such an emergency will ground planes. I think you'll find the 'elites' have panic rooms or whatever a lot closer to hand than Denver airport.
Why? Because untouchable, narcissistic, elitists love to taunt the common folk and they think they're clever about it. Lol. Have you been there? Rumor has it that place has like 6 stories underground. It could just be military stuff, lots of weird stuff in Colorado. And have you seen those murals? Screams one world population control. Gives me the creeps!
Load More Replies...The symbolism argument is pure nonsense. If I had a secret society, why would I possibly display its SECRET symbols all over the place where people can see them? And if I need to hide in a fallout shelter, why would I possibly care if it has symbolism or not (living conditions are far more important)?
If you think Denver went over budget and beyond its predicted date look up W***y Brandt Airport (it's not actually called that because by the time it opened it had become so much of a laughing stock Brandt's family revoked permission to use his name) in Berlin. When they had to postpone the planned opening the first time they had someone compile a list of everything that still needed fixing before it could open. There were half a million items on the list. Including the fact that 3000 smoke alarms had just gone walk about and no one knew how to turn the lights off...
Oh ffs they censored the name W I L L Y Brand airport

Airplanes pollute a lot. The airlines & manufacturers knew this would be unpopular so they started the Chem trail conspiracy so that anyone pointing this out would be considered a nut job by the greater public.
BS. What you see are neither chemtrails nor pollutants but water condensing in the cold air. When you burn organic stuff you get mainly CO2 and water.
You're right, but i maybe he wasn't talking about the visible track behind aircraft.
Load More Replies...Nope. This is just more blind rationalisation, and just as bad as the 'chem-trail' nonsense itself.
As aircraft engineer... I don't think you're right. Any fuel pollutes (even steam locomotives), that's for sure, but if you check how motors work in the heights which is 90%+ of flight you could understand how the aircrafts pollution is very insignificant comparing to other sources...
I have never seen a chem trail adherent who is concerned about pollution.
I have. I used to be part of an anti aviation activist group protesting airport expansion in the UK and we had people who were against it because of NO pollution, but also believed in chemtrails

Pot holes aren’t fixed because it slows people down. Slower drivers means less accidents, which means less money and resources spent on emergency response.
I don't think this is true at all.. It's more the case that money is spent in other areas, (not always worthy areas), but other areas never the less.
Very true. We have a pothole right in front of our house, and as soon as people hit it, they slow down.
Load More Replies...potholes where i live are one of the most potent causes of accidents, often fatally so
What are you talking about? Pot holes cause accidents! They only slow down the drivers who hit them and survive to avoid them in future. Honestly, do people even wake up before writing stuff like this?
Nah, in the uk you can claim repairs from the local council if you can prove the pothole has been reported and not repaired previously - might slow folk down but then they open themselves up to costs of repairs/injuries etc - I don’t think that would be worth the possible reduced accident rate from slower drivers, in fact I doubt it slows people down much, people tend to not see them until it too late so they can cause accidents on top of the further costs
Prince Harry isn't Charle's son, he looks more like the two men Dianna had affairs with than the Prince of Wales. He left the royal family because of Andrew's pedo cover up and the racism Megan has faced. He probably threatened to do a DNA test as leverage in the split from the royal family.
He looks like Prince Philip, his grandfather. Princess Di hadn't even met James Hewitt until after Harry was born.
He does look exactly like a young prince phillip. Same exact nose eyes and facial structure.

I'm not a biologist, but looking a bit like two other potential fathers is not a good argument for parentage, since human conception only requires one male parent in any circumstance. Also, if you think any royal baby is not subjected to every blood test known to science, then you've been sadly under-endowed in the logic department. But don't let facts get in the way of your fantasies.
Big Pharma already have the cure for major diseases. They just won't let it come to the market as therapy earns more profits than cure.
This is the dumb conspiracy behind antivaxing, homeopathy and other dumb stuff. Downvote!
I don't doubt it, just another way for the people at the top to damn us all
Dumb, dumb, dumb! Cures for major diseases would make whoever is selling them tremendously rich and powerful. They'd have to be crazy (or really hate money) to keep these cures hidden.
That would be logical if "big pharma" was one single firm. But it isn't so it's not.

My problem with this is that my brother died from cancer. While he was in treatment, his doctor's (oncologist) child also was found to have cancer. My point is, the people who are claimed to be hiding the drug for profit also have families and those families also can become sick. So you're trying to say that they are letting their own children die of cancer so they can make more money? Even if its not the oncologists, the people making the vaccines also have kids...

I think Trumps wall is because the government fully knows that climate change is coming faster than expected. The wall is supposed to be a barrier to control the millions fleeing north.
That's stupid. Climate change will affect the US more. More land mass, more coastal areas, more population, more extreme weather, more resources consumed. It would make sense if Mexico were to build the wall.
The most sensible place for a wall would be along the Canadian border - and I don't mean to keep the Canadians out.
Load More Replies...I laugh if it's worse in the U.S and they're all trapped by their own wall. Hahaha
Is the wall being built? Last I read it was falling apart the small stretch that was built Capitalism doesn't care about climate change. The people that are making money right now don't care what happens to earth once they're gone and they're so rich they can live out their lives free from consequences of climate change anyway. They can pay for whatever they need to live while the rest of us die.
Biden halted construction of the wall for several months. He now realizes how necessary the wall is and is re-starting the project.

If extraterrestrials visited our planet in ancient times, one has to consider they documented what they saw since they must've had the technology to record and store images. That means one day, if the aliens make themselves known, mankind might see the pyramids being built, footage of dinosaurs, or ancient Rome, among thousands of other images. One can only hope this is the case.

I know that you've got to take ancient history, especially that written by the Romans, with a grain of salt. A lot of foreign societies that we know about mostly from Roman writings were lied about to make the Romans think their own society was superior, that everyone else were 'barbarians'. They did this a LOT, to cement their supposed superiority. Back then, there was no way for people to know any better unless they travelled themselves. Remember: History is written by the victors. Another problem is later generations going in and changing things to suit them.
