Guy Is Sharing Useful Tips He Wishes He Had Known Sooner, And Here Are 29 Of The Best Ones (New Posts)
Age equals wisdom, they say. And you can’t argue much. Just think of all the little things you had no clue about two days or two years ago. And we’re talking something seemingly insignificant, like correctly putting eyedrops in your eyes, tying trash bags and mastering zip lock bags. But boy, they make a difference.
And there’s a guy named Sidneyraz who basically won the internet for sharing these kind of tips and tricks with his huge audience of 3.3 million followers on his TikTok channel. Sidneyraz set out on a mission to “tell you things I didn’t know before I was in my 30s,” and so it’s basically an open offer to learn from his journey to know-how, aka slip ups, rather than learning them the hard way.
Below, we wrapped up some of Sidneyraz’s newest bits of advice, so scroll down and enjoy. Also, after you’re done, be sure to share more of his posts in our Bored Panda features here and here.

Powdered Sugar Is Just Regular Sugar Blended
I tried this with a flatmates blender years ago and a cloud of sugar came out the blender like it had caught fire. I utterly $hit myself thinking I'd written off her new blender and stuck to buying it pre-powdered ever since.
Sidneyraz decided to start his now-viral video series “things I didn’t know before I was in my 30s” after people really liked one of his first videos named 'Here's something you should know about being in your 30s. It's better than your 20s.' Many people found Sid’s content useful and relatable, and he immediately became a sensation. Now, Sid boasts a whopping 3.4 million followers and 98.4M total likes on his TikTok channel.

Travel Pillows Go In Front
In a previous interview with Bored Panda, Sid told us that his most popular videos are ones that have to do with the most common items that people use. That includes things like travel pillows, English muffins, trash bags, plungers, and so on."We all use the same things every day and [without questioning them] because that's how we were taught, but we have no idea why or if it's even right. So when I post a video showing a different way, it blows minds," the creator explained.

Sid believes that we tend to experience both heartbreak and true joy before our 30s. “There are large ups and downs but, hopefully, they help us to be more empathetic people. They’re hard lessons but needed," he told us a while back. The creator added that right now, he’s learning all these things too. “I don’t want anyone to feel as alone as I have in the past when I didn’t know something [older folks understood quite well]," the TikToker said.

You Can Clean And Sharpen A Coffee Grinder With Rice
I find this dubious. Cutting anything in a grinder necessarily dulls the blades somewhat. Might it "clean out" some of the residue there? Maybe. But saying that it "sharpens" the blades has to be wrong. Let's take this to it's logical conclusion: according to him, a grinder that is used only for rice would never get dull. I could be wrong, but this sounds like something that keeps getting passed around but is ultimately based on nothing.
You Can Actually Peel Many Cloves Of Garlic By Shaking It In A Container
It’s no secret that most people tend to romanticize nostalgia and look back on their memories with the sense that the old times were somehow better. It feels tempting to think of the old days as simpler and less chaotic than the present.
This is especially true when we look back on our childhood or earlier days, and focus on positive memories. In contrast, the present moment seems always challenging in one way or another, and only after it’s long gone can we look back at it with a sense of appreciation.

You Can Pour Grease Directly Into The Sink
No, you pour it in the middle of the trash can on top of whatever looks the least “melty”. You loose the game if it touches the trash bag while hot. Bonus points if you can pour it into some sort of container on the top of the trash.
I don't think I'd enjoy this game. You can have my turn.
Load More Replies...That's not pouring it *directly* into the sink. That's pouring it into a tinfoil cup that happens to be in the sink.
Just let it cool and coagulate so you can toss in the garbage safely. Don't risk any going down the drain or potentially burning stuff in the garbage or melting the garbage bag
Um no you can the whole purpose is because it's not meant for the drain, it's not because it's hard to get in their it's because you're not supposed to put it down there. This guy is a dumbbutt.
He's not pouring it down the drain. He's pouring it into cup shaped aluminum foil that is in the sink
Load More Replies...I pour mine into an empty sour cream container and put it in my fridge. When it's full, I toss it in the trash. That way you can still use your sink.
I use an old metal coffee can. When full, I dip in really hot water, and put the cylinder of grease on the compost pile. Easy peasy, enriches the compost, drains & traps stay clear. Compost must be turned when you do this, but that's less than five minutes every third month.

and you fire till he's done but they catch you at the boarder yeah..
Load More Replies...There are some types of sinks, most notably the plastic shop sink in the picture, that react poorly to hot grease. Also, water.
Just in case anyone misunderstands, which is easy to do thanks to the title : Never, ever pour grease directly into the sink. If you do, it goes directly into your nearest body of water to the huge detriment of the fish and the overall environment. Use one of the methods suggested in the comments - please.
This post is a wide array of dumb ideas, or, perhaps, ideas for the dumb.
Depending on the country you live in this can be an exceptionally bad idea. Our sewerage system isn’t designed to deal with cooking fat/waste and pouring grease down the sink can lead to pipe blockage - and a large plumbers bill!
Or pour into a ramikin and spoon out when it sets to avoid wasting foil
Just let it cool and then scrape it into your grease container, or the trash. If you use a container for grease, when you have enough put it in the freezer overnight, then hot water it just enough to get the grease out. I either wrap it in paper towels or put it in a zip-lock bag and then the trash.
#30 - Cut your hair and shave if you want to make a good impression for presentation on the internet
In the US, I've only seen these for restaurants.
Load More Replies...I once poured hot grease into a glass grease container. But, I forgot about the hot grease hitting cold container rule. All was fine until I picked up the jar. It cracked and broke in a perfect ring right where the hot grease stopped.
or go to your garden, put the pan upside down and leave it there till the next morning
No. You pour it in an empty PET (soda for exemple) bottle and discard it in a appropriate place.
We always just save a tin can every once in a while for it. And bacon grease gets saved separately for cooking with later.
I wait for the oil to cool down and put it in the empty jar where pickles used to be
I use an old coffee can to collect my grease, when full it goes out with the rest of the trash. No fuss, no muss and no accidental grease down my kitchen sink!
Lay paper towel in a bowl and pour the grease in that, and let it harden. Don't risk grease in your drain!
I don't use that kind of grease I just keep an empty bottle and fill it with used stuff and it goes to the burner.
Better yet, pour it into a bowl of cold water then it instantly solidifies.
if the grease is not burned, you can actually put it into a bowl, refrigerate and use it again as a flavour carrier.
Old coffee cans work great for grease, that way you don't have to worry about your foil tearing and grease going down the drain.
Use an old coffee container. Dump it in there, then throw it all away.
I always pour mine into a milk jug and then throw out the milk jug

Why does this guy bring turn bored Pandas into grumpy pandas? Not everyone has had the same experiences. I'm way old and saw a couple of things I realized look easier to do than the way I have been doing them.
I think it makes people feel smart and superior to be like "Who didn't know that?" They just need their little ego boost from making people feel stupid.

Those who don't know them and never use them, are the lucky people. Some of these are dangerous. Blending sugar in a coffee blender???? The powder fumes is so fine, that they can easily explode, them put them into a coffee grinder with metal blades and an little engine to mix fast. Suddenly you have explosive powder and a really hot metal piece.

You guys. I'm gonna say it again. NOT EVERYONE HAS HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCES, AND HE'S NOT AN IDIOT FOR THAT. Maybe some of his tips are wrong. DON'T USE THOSE. STOP BEING MEAN.
