30 Encounters With Tourists From Hell My GF And I Experienced While Working In Iceland’s Tourism Industry (New Pics)
These days, we get submissions not only from the Icelandic tourism industry, but from all over the world and we are always on the lookout for a new story to add to our growing list of to-be-drawn experiences. That is why some of our comics are not Iceland-related, but tell the stories of our friends in other countries as well.

I understand that people could be difficult, but few of these comics are unreasonable and shows unprofessional behaviour on the service providers part. I mean, how do you not check the fridges after the pax has left? In spite of taking their money, how difficult it’s it to just make a phone call to confirm the arrival in time on a day before?

I know these comics are meant to be funny - but in fact they make me rather sad. I cannot stand people who always think they deserve something better and everybody else is only there to serve them and worship their stupidity! Having to deal with this kind of behaviour each and every day makes work an ordeal. I truly hope that for each single one of these customers from hell there are at least 100 other tourists who return from their tours happy and thankful that they had the opportunity to see the wonders and the beauty of Iceland!

Hey Yoga Kitty! Thank you for this. Yes, for each of these I met so many other beautiful people! It just evens out! Working in tourism was one of the most rewarding experiences in my entire life! I met hundreds of people daily, and made some great friends! So, yes, sometimes these make me sad, but knowing that it was all evened out makes it better. And the cherry on the cake is: most of these people got what they deserved :)
