Guy Discovers He’s Been Reading NSFW Harry Potter Fan Fiction Instead Of The Real Book, And It’s Too Hilarious
You don’t have to be a wizard to find Harry Potter fanfiction online. Fan-made alternative versions of the legendary J. K. Rowling series have become so popular that, apparently, even new readers are getting a hold of them by mistake.
That’s exactly what happened to Chris Chappell, host of the online information show China Uncensored, when he finally decided to dive into the Harry Potter universe, and bought all seven volumes as e-books online. It was all going magically until he reached the fifth installment, Order of the Pheonix, which had been slightly edited by whoever sold it to him… And by edited, we mean it was totally hijacked.
Shocked by the scandalous turn of events he was reading, Chris reached out to his colleague, Shelley Zhang, a major Harry Potter fan herself. Load More Replies... Wow, this is the same "Order of the Phoenix" fanfic my one friend got tricked by like, 5+ years ago. He (illegally) downloaded the pdf files of the series and I had a ball telling him that wasn't the real book. Whoever wrote and distributed the fanfic as the book must be loving that it's still a thing so much later.

I think most of the world has seen the movies, they are clean;) and why would a childrens book be so tainted anyway? I smell something isnt right with this convo;)
I have read that fan fic , its titled "Harry potter and the Psychic Serpent" . it was one of the biggest and best HP fanfic I read. It was a parallel universe of its own. And yes the author really put a lot of effort in it. ofcourse as fanfics mostly are there was 'fan service' a lot of. the author was harry/hermione draco/ginny shipper so there is that. He started it before the release of GOF. I've heard of worse fanfiction, almost all had to do with Harry Potter. I've never read the worse fanfictions, but I can assure you, when there is a Dolores Umbridge x Viktor Nikiforov, just the ship between those two is scary. Phichit would be dissapointed.
I feel like most fanfic writers just sit around and think "ok, what's the most stupid pairing of characters that is possible?"
