Street Photographer Captures Entertaining Shots, And Here Are 30 Of The Best Ones
A few years ago, Greek army man Anthimos Ntagkas tried street photography and he instantly got hooked. He was fascinated with the way people acted when they were unaware of his existence. Capturing the true identity of a person became the main goal of his unique photography works but over time, he developed the skill to do so in ever more creative ways.
"The photographs that I find the most interesting are the ones that employ juxtaposition," Ntagkas told Bored Panda. "The connection between two different themes or even more inside one powerful image is very intriguing."
Even though his creative ideas are influenced by a lot of masters of the craft, Anthimos' main concern has always remained to come up with something completely different. And you could say he's gotten pretty darn good at it. Each of his interesting photos seems to tell a different story and the ability to explore different themes through his work is what makes him believe he'll never lose interest in photography.

Edith was still steaming when she entered the store to return the defective can opener.
"When I first started to take photos, I used to find a place in the streets that I liked and wait for people to come by. But this has changed. Nowadays, I don't choose the place, but I make every location work for me. I combine people with elements everywhere I stand."
However, Ntagkas thinks that street photography and documentaries are two different things. "Street photography is more artistic and creative. It is not only capturing the moment and the people in the streets but you also have to be an artistic director in order to combine people and elements in a fascinating perspective."

The man appreciates street photography because he believes that anyone can do it. "[You don't] need professional equipment and lessons. Over time, one can improve and become an expert creating cool photos while in other genres of photography, you can't infuse your own style and personality as much."
So if you've ever dreamed of immersing yourself in the crowd and walking away with pictures of the way you saw it, take it from the man and just go along with your photo ideas.

In the U.S. we have raccoons (nick named "trash pandas") that love to raid trash cans and dumpsters. Well here's a new take on that! Fairies instead. I think this one is my favorite.

I have a very similar tattoo on my right shoulder as well. My father got a seagull on his chest in the army, and when I was old enough I got one too in order to commemorate how great of a father he is:)

How many phallic symbols can you cram into one picture? Even the triangle could be a cross section. The little boy giggling is perfect! The black hair, the white t-shirt matching the wall and the red shorts matching the other red objects.... he's a little phallic symbol himself, part of the left side of the photo. The middle aged man with the halo, or maybe it's "inspiration" - the big light in the sky.... What's not to love in this? Even the adolescent irreverence of it contributes to a "life cycle of being male". A man's version of the neo-Pagan Maiden, Matron, Crone images of womanhood but without losing our sense of humor and wit.... I really love this one.

I would not assume, she could be the Nonna from the kitchen, grabbing a coffee getting out of the kitchen and going to market to grab some stuff for the days special. She in no way looks homeless to me, that is possibly her son.

She doesn't have to be homeless. In my country some older people go begging (with a coffee cup just like the one here), because pensions are so insultingly small that they can't afford bills, food and medication if they don't have family to support them.

Back in the 80's I walked into my 89 yr. old grandmother's apartment and there she was knitting like Madame LeFarge with her mangled-by-arthritis fingers. I asked what she was making and she told me she was making lap robes for the old people. I roared with laughter and asked her who the hell was older than her? Of course she told me about the miserable people over in the group home who sat around all day complaining because they were all alone despite the fact that they were sitting in a room full of people who they could have made friends with or even lovers... "THAT kind of old." This reminds me of her. She never stopped making new friends.

The guy wearing all black and a stripe of white in his sneaks matches the illustration and a pic is taken right as he walks, hiding her lips like that of her eyes. Neat. I like how the grate has the same horizontal look.

I could say so much to this one. I've lost a lot of the use of my hands with it went my ability to earn a living, my profession - which I was very proud of, even my position in society. This expresses so much of what I've often felt.
